A fantastic way to get a feel for Wellington and see some of the city’s highlights in just three hours. Our guide, James, was very informative and provided plenty of interesting commentary throughout the tour. We enjoyed a small-group tour around the heart of the city, followed by a trip up to Mount Victoria, where the 360-degree views of Wellington and the surrounding islands were absolutely spectacular. The cable car ride was another highlight, offering more beautiful views from the top, with the option to stay longer and explore the Botanical Gardens. Overall, a very enjoyable, relaxed and well-paced tour. A great way to get your bearings, learn a little about Wellington and take in some fantastic scenery. Highly recommended, especially if it’s your first time visiting Wellington!

Had a great experience.did not have a lot of time in Wellington,so this tour gave us a great insite into the highlights and history.our guide was wonderful.
Great tour, very informative. Plenty stops for photos etc. Price included ticket for cable car ride. Very friendly would recommend!
The tour was awesome and the area was beautiful! I would highly recommend this tour! Our guide was so informative
It was a very windy day but managed to see a lot of Wellington in a short time. We stopped at some places for a photo op, but we were soon back in the van. I thought the cable car ride was a bit disappointing as we didn't see anything on the way up as there were so many people standing and we went through a tunnel for most of the ride
Was a great day the bus driver was really good and knew what he was talking about. Told us interesting stuff seeing all the other sides of Wellington that you might not get to was really good. The bus driver was really nice and friendly. Think the bus driver‘s name was Paul He was really good. I enjoyed what he said and he was really nice and helpful.
Saw lots of Wellington and suburbs. Interesting and knowledgeable, happy, guide/driver. Very worthwhile 3hours.
Excellent way to see Wellington if like us you are only in town for a day or two. Our guide Paul was amazing his knowledge of the area is second to none.
Chris was an excellent tour guide ! He knew so much about Wellington, its history and wildlife. He pointed out birds as they appeared throughout the tour. He was very amusing and got to know both of us on the tour!
The tour was absolutely fab!!! Took us places we would never have got to and covered such a wide range of attractions and within a large encompass around different areas of Wellington, instead of just the city. Highlighted green areas around Wellington that we were unaware of. Knowledgable driver, Paul, telling us all sorts of facts and information as we went along. Highly recommend doing this tour.
This tour of Wellington is well worth doing. We had a comfortable vehicle with good vision. We were taken to areas and vantage points that showed Wellington's compactness and uniqueness off perfectly. Our guide, Sarah was so passionate about the wildlife and all the great things she enjoyed about her City and her enthusiasm was such a good example of a fabulous young New Zealander. Sure, it was a fine day with very little wind, so we could get off the bus at each stop to take in the views, but we would highly recommend this tour of a Wellington city
The tour was excellent and covered a vast area of Wellington. Sarah our guide was fantastic, very informative and a wealth of knowledge. The weather on the day was terrible but Sarah insured that we still covered all the sites and gave us extra time where there was shelter from the wind and rain. I would definitely recommend the tour and it was value for money. Thank you, Sarah
Great introduction to Wellington. Covers the main areas and sights. Guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the city.
Great way to see Wellington great views of city and local areas Pick up was easy and on time. Guide informative
Not just the city centre but much further afield. Not a hop on hop off experience but gives an idea of the place and where you would like to come back to.
Primarily a driving tour - which is great because you are less affected by weather and WOW you get to see a ton!! We drove allllll over the city and really got to see so much more than you do if you're just walking around the downtown!
Great guide very knowledgeable and entertaining
A great chance to take pictures around the area and learn about Wellington. Our tour guide Robbie was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this tour.
Great tour. Guide was very informative and told us stories that people from here never knew. Beautiful views. Loved the trolley.
It was a wonderful and enjoyable experience. Sarah, our tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. Her passion about birds and Wellington is contagious. Everyone enjoyed the tour, the beautiful views and the relaxed atmosphere. It was a great way to see Wellington and I would definitely recommend this experience to other travellers.
Very knowledgeable guide with flowing conversation on many topics
Fabulous day from start to finish, ther3 was jus5 four of us on the tour so much better than too many people, you could hear everything the guide was saying. Very knowledgeable and informative, we had a few stops to take in the views which were breathtaking. Well worth it and we finished it off with a ride on the Wellington cable car. Top marks.
It’s really great and the tourist guide is very nice. Also, as the only one in the team, they didn’t cancel, instead, they hold this special trip, and the tourist guide is very considerate and it’s a good experience to travel with her.
Great tour to explore Wgtn. Marc was brilliant. Gave us heaps of interesting information about the places we visited
Enjoyable and Informative. Don’t miss this if you want a great introduction to Wellington.
Great short tour and Natalie was the perfect guide
Grant was a wonderful tour guide ,very informative and l learnt so much from the tour . Highly recommend it .
We had a great guide. There was just enough time at each spot and we got the variety that we wanted. Highly recommend for those who do not have a lot of time.
Don’t book through trip advisor. MUCH cheaper to book directly with the company. I’d suggest doing the trip as soon as you arrive in Wellington to get a good feel of the place.
Great tour of Wellington. Grant the tour guide was very professional and made the experience memorable
Informative, friendly, and helpful. Really enjoyed the tour - lots of local insights and anecdotes. Well paced with photo opportunities.

Lot of things to visit and specifically if you love greenery its a haven for you
Very enjoyable experience with informative, personable guide.
We had a brilliant time on a small and informative tour.
I had a spare day after work conference to see Wellington and this 3 hour tour was perfect! Driver picked me up on time, he was a local that’s new a lot about his country and city. Lots of places of interest and super informative. Loved It, just not the weather unfortunately.
Fabulous, our driver Mark had lots of information about all the sights of Wellington. Which we were able to spend more time the following days. Highly recommend this tour
Our tour with Marc was great. Besides what was on the tour agenda, he took us to some out of the way places and had a number of fun things in and around Wellington. Plus he is a movie star that King Kong ate and was also a Black Rider in LOTR!! Who better to tour with???
Had a great time with Nathalie. She was fun and informative. And entertaining. Felt comfortable in the van. Feel like I learned a lot about this city in just three hours.
Our tour guide Marc is fabulous ! He is done beautiful job !
My mum, my nephew, and I visited Wellington for a short period. We decided to take this tour, and it was the best decision — we got to see so many beautiful places around Wellington. Chris was super friendly and shared so much interesting information about Wellington and the movies. It’s definitely worth taking, especially if you’re travelling with limited time. The tour felt very personalised, and we were lucky to have amazing weather. Special thanks to his fantastic boss Chewy for letting Chris take us to the airport! I recommend this tour 100%. I’ve visited Wellington many times before, but I hadn’t seen that much until now — it’s absolutely worth taking this city tour.
Although the weather was not ideal with wind and rain the tour was complete very interesting and Nate the tour guide was very knowledgeable about the city it's past and had lots of interesting stories. If you are a Lord of the Rings fan Nate has lots of anecdotes about that too! We had plenty of time to stop and Nate very accommodating. Really I highly recommend.
It a very curvy road to navigate, so it's nice to have a chauffeur to show you the sights! Very beautiful scenery.
Great tour, our guide Andy was engaging and very knowledgeable. He kept us entertained and was very knowledgeable with information and stories. We saw many sights and learnt about the history of the area. Thankyou Andy. Would highly recommend this tour. Julie and Steve from Australia

This little city tour takes you to different areas of Wellington which will motivate you to explore them more thoroughly later on during your stay.
