Arrival Transfer: Wellington Airport To Central Wellington City Centre Hotels

I would never recommend this service. The drivers at the airport were rude and dismissive. The airport staff did not recognise the service and consequently were unable to offer help. I used the app to try to contact the driver, no reply. The service finally contacted me 24 hours after what was supposed to be my airport pick up. After 4 drivers one finally took the time to assist and then located my ticket

Hard to figure out where pick up is. Had to exchange messages a few times, but it worked out. Better directions/signage would help.

Great trip but the driver had the wrong name next to my booking which caused some confusion initially

Super shuttle left us stranded on a rainy day with a baby after 36 hours of travel. We had to find a taxi by ourselves. Despite booking 4 months ago they could not get their act together. And hard with the baggage and crying baby. Their customer service manager David Ross did not even apologise the next day. I wondered why the drivers were rude and now seems the culture is rotten from the top. Shane on you super shuttles.

I arrived in Wellington from Brisbane on a Qantas flight on 3rd April 2024. My hard plastic shell suitcase was fine. I wheeled it outside to the shuttlebus service. The driver was professional and negotiated Wellington hills well. While driving I heard loud noises from the trailer. When we arrived at my parents place, the suitcase was sitting alone in the trailer. I removed it and it was damaged. The driver said it would have been the airline. I wrote to Peter King, The Director who told me that he would not accept liability: "We cannot accept liability for the damage to your suitcase as it is not possible that such impact damage could have been sustained during your journey with us on 3 April 23." Take my advice, take an Uber, it costs the same and your luggage will be safe.

The driver made us feel welcome. He was courteous and helpful! He even informed us of what was happening and how soon the shuttle would leave.

Our transfer was fine but we had paid extra for a private transfer and we were put on the shuttle with everyone else. I have requested a refund for the difference in cost but have not received any response.

Visitor did not provide details about how or where to find their transport van at the airport. I had to beg a ride from a local Wellington bus driver who was very helpful.

There were 2 ph no's to call. Lucky one was an 0800 number as I had no credit on my phone. But it took a while for the phone to be answered. A bit worried as I thought I would be stuck there. 2 planes arrived at the same time so it took a while to get out of the airport. But in the end everything turned out ok. I would definitely organise with Viator again.

A well organized system. The pick-up spot was easy to find after I had collected my baggage, and I only waited a few minutes to board a transport coach to my hotel. The driver was courteous and helpful and the trip went very smoothly.

So my flight arrived last night at 5.05pm and my shuttle booking was at 5.10pm, I didn't have luggage so wasn't late. When I arrived at the shuttle the driver told me he was full and I had to wait for the next shuttle. Apparently they didn't account for my flight and the earlier flight to arrive together!....not my problem, however it became my problem when the driver contacted another driver to check how far away he was....he said 3 mins, but never arrived! Another driver arrived but that was for a chartered booking so I couldn't get a ride home. 40 minutes later and I'm still waiting. I contacted their office and was told to go to a Blue Bubble taxi and they'll take me home. The Blue Bubble driver wouldn't leave until he had confirmation from his office as to who would be paying.....and of course his meter was running. The driver finally left after another 15 minutes after I tried calling the shuttle office again, on hold for 20mins. When we arrived at my place, the meter was at $36 (about 7km drive) and I finally got through to the shuttle office for the job number for the cab so that I didn't have to pay. I've had NO apology from the company for leaving me in the cold with no transport for almost an hour. Poor service!!!!

No confirmation from company. Did not receive contact info. Flight arrived (10 min early) and no one was present. Took a taxi instead. Received call from operator an hour after arrival (and alrwady at hotel) asking if I needed pickup. They said because I booked thru a third party (viator) is why I didn't have contact info. Really? Not sure if this the transport company ilpr viator problem. Regardless, very disappointing.

Not sure what went wrong but there were no shuttle drivers available when we got to the stop outside the airport Terminal. It was only when we asked someone that we were eventually transferred to a taxi with no explanation what the problem was. The fare we paid on line was comparable to the Taxi fare and not the fare advertised on the side of the Super shuttle bus which was a lot cheaper.

Shuttle was arranged by my travel service (Wellington to city). Supposed to pick me up after plane landed. No sign of a shuttle anywhere. Impossible to get through by phone, so gave up and took the local bus. Ran into another couple who had the same experience. They said people told them that the shuttle often just doesn’t show up. Would never use these people if I had a choice.

Unreliable and impossible to get hold off. They screwed up everything booking I have made over the last year. I am not booking with them ever again and I would recommend others avoid their service too unless you want to get stranded at your pick up zone and out of pocket with no answers

Shuttle was on time & reliable. Driver lacked any sort of customer service, we arrived at the hotel where the driver just pointed at us, after getting out & going to the trailer,. no discussions where we were. Some of the other customers sniggered & commented at his arrogance

Waited for 20/30 mins for a shuttle to arrive. Then three arrived together. As one of the other waiting customers said of the driver. "he's a real joy germ isn't he'

You charged 38 dollars for what would have cost us 20 direct payment on the day had we not booked with Viator

They were waiting outside the terminal. Friendly and efficient. Had our reservation, but no personal signage so had to search a little.

We were picked up on time by a very friendly helpful man. Delivered to hotel with commentary along the way and cheerful talk. Old highly recommend this company. Easy to deal with and very helpful.

I arrived at Wellington airport at midnight on a flight from Sydney, the shuttle bus was waiting outside the arrivals area for the quick trip to my hotel. I will use this service again next time I travel to Wellington.

This takes the hassle out of getting to and from your hotel. We pre booked our shuttle so it was there when we got off the plane and we were taken to the door of our hotel and our return journey was just as hassle free.

We used the Super Shuttles 3 times over the weekend, getting transfers to and from airport to hotel. It was super convenient and easily booked online before we left so didn’t need to have any money or think about it when we left. It was great and service was prompt and polite.

<p>Would never use this company again. I waited for 1 hour and 50 minutes after my plane landed before I got on a shuttle. Many, many phone calls to the company and they kept telling me 10 minutes, 10 more minutes. I was furious.</p>

<p>Having had several great experiences with tours/transfers booked through Viator, this was most disappointing - there was no shuttle awaiting my arrival and when one did turn up after a 30-40 minute wait, the driver did not have me on his transfer list and, even worse, when he checked with his office he was advised that the booking was not even in their system. However, the driver did eventually accept my word and an electronic copy of the booking and agreed to take us to the hotel ... around an hour later than I had anticipated.</p>
