Quest On Johnston

Bad experience. They didn't have my booking in the system and didn't let me in despite having the booking confirmed through several emails. Lots of other places to stay in the area instead. It shouldn't require 3 people, several phone-calls for a simple check-in. Nice reception staff was the only good thing.

Only thing good about my stay at the quest was the receptionist..very polite and helpfull. Being a windy city one would have thought the building would be suitable for such weather but No.The ceilings rattling and the windows squealed making it near impossible to sleep I considered sleeping in the car on the street... The TV was in cohoots with the ceiling and windows and refused to be watched even after the receptionist tried to fix it. We have a room booked there for our return in a week but will not being using it and have found alternative accomodation..

Fantastic outstanding customer service. Was an IT glitch with my room booking, Tamara was the most helpful fantastic customer service rep I have seen in a long time. Went out of her way to come find me as I was walking to other Quest when a room got cancelled. Would highly recommend and if you are lucky enough to have Tamara help you, really made my day. Customer service like that is super rare. I would definitely come back if I can, sadly it is up to the business as to where I stay. But this Quest is the best Quest. Thanks Tamara hope you get a pay rise. Also Manjot was super kind too. Appreciate the staff here.

This is such a great apartment. The location is superb- we did not have to use our car for anything, all great stops within walking distances. My partner and I had such an amazing stay. Everything was so good, right from check in to check out. A very massive shoutout to Tamara at frontdesk- she is sweet, genuine, kind and very helpful. She is the best hospitality manager that I have come across. She makes you feel welcome, has a great sense of humour. All other staff at this location are so nice as well. I cannot recommend this place enough. Rooms have good facilities, has washer and dryer- so will not be returning home to Hawke’s Bay with any dirty laundry. Will look forward to staying at the property again. If you are coming across this to have a look at the reviews to book a place in the heart of capital with great services and amenities- let me assure you that this is the place to be.
