Very nice hote,l comfortable beds, great staff helpful, great location they have access to an off-site spa pool 2 minute walk from hotel, the bar staff were fabulous we really liked the oriental breeze cocktails 😍 we had a great stay over the weekend highly recommend this place
Wow! Couldn't have booked a better place. All flights were cancelled, it was late and me and my daughter had nowhere to stay. One phone call later Irene and Libby had us booked, and gave us a super friendly welcome when we arrived, along with an upgrade. Every staff member was friendly, and incredibly helpful as we navigated changes to our flights and accommodation. This will be our go to hotel moving forward!
The location is the biggest positive of this place. The view of the Harbour is stunning. Everything else is mediocre. We ate at the restaurant, some highs such as the roasted squash soup is to die for and the beef wellington was cooked perfectly. But don't get the lamb rack, tiny portion, lots of inedible fats and no accompanying carbs of any sort. Pricey for what you get. Breakfast buffet was ok, nothing special. Chairs in the restaurant are hard, not comfortable at all. Told the girl at reception, no response. It's one of those places where they don't really care what you think. So, stay there if you must but plenty of nicer and friendlier places, I hope!
A nice hotel overall with great views from the restaurant/bar. The room was very clean, tidy, and well presented, with good amenities including a large TV, plenty of channels, and good WiFi. Pros The cleanliness and presentation of the room stood out, and the staff were excellent—friendly and helpful. The views from the restaurant/bar are a real highlight. And it's nice to have service available 24/7, loved the ice cream at midnight. Cons I hope that the harbour-side rooms will be available soon? I loved them and the pool from previous visits is no longer there :( The wedges were underwhelming (no sour cream and tasted over-seasoned or slightly burnt), the room service fries also slightly underwhelming, just like low quality potatoes with no seasoning, other options? onion rings, toasted garlic bread etc? but as I am vegetarian I understand there was other options not available to me. The upstairs reception area also felt a bit cluttered, with excess desks and an unused screen.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the view was absolutely gorgeous, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were truly amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. While the rooms do feel a little outdated and could benefit from an upgrade in the future, it honestly didn’t take away from the overall experience. The hotel’s central location makes it very convenient for getting around and exploring the area. The gym at the hotel is currently closed, but guests can use the large gym and pool facilities across the road, which are fantastic. Parking was also very convenient, which made our stay even easier. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay again thanks to the cleanliness, beautiful views, helpful staff, and excellent location.
