Dean, our guide and driver was wonderful. So helpful and passionate about everything in DC. And as a DC native he had so much insight. So amazingly wonderful the tour was.

Was everything we expected. Steve, our guide took great care of us always checking in to see if we needed anything Good pace and all the highlights
This is a must do on your first day in DC. We brought our teen girls to experience the nation’s capital and this tour started us out in the best way! We loved the small group (we had ten people in our group) and the personal attention. Steve was our tour guide and he was outstanding! The amount of history that he shared during our time together was really amazing. He is passionate about history and we could really tell. He gave us ample time at each stop to explore as well. Our driver was Edrick and he did a great job. It was really great to be able just to hop out quickly to see each sight and then he was always waiting for us when we finished. We would highly recommend this tour! Thanks Steve & Edrick 🇺🇸💙
Great, informative experience that was easy and went off without a hitch. Both guide and driver were pleasant and helpful and good either way kiddos.
Good tour but the promised WWII and Vietnam War Memorial (as described on the tour) was a no -show. If it was part of one of the stops, we were not told about them. We had no clue since obviously we are not from the area. Also we were not told how much time to budget at each stop, we tried to hurry as we thought there were still some more stops. It lasted 3 hours instead of 4. We were surprised when we were told that was it...
Rich was excellent. Went above and beyond. Knowledgeable, funny, considerate. A truly excellent experience.
A great tour! A mix of being driven and walking all over DC. The guide was Steve and his knowledge is endless, basically knowing everything including all the buildings we passed. I thoroughly recommend the tour and especially Steve!
Dean was a great tour guide and I learned a lot! He went above and beyond and I thoroughly enjoyed my time! Could not recommend enough!
Great way to see and explore the monuments/memorials.Our driver shared his knowledge of bldgs and areas along the way
Our guide, Dean, was great! Very knowledgeable and fun. He was efficient and ahead of schedule which allowed us to see more.
Tour of Washington DC was great. Driver Edrick and tour guide Steve were professional and very knowledgeable!
We had a great experience touring Washington, DC with Dean as our guide. He took us to several of the major sights and did an excellent job explaining the history and significance of each location. Dean was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, and made the entire tour enjoyable and easy. This was a perfect way to see DC, especially for a first-time visitor. I would highly recommend this tour and Dean to anyone visiting Washington!
My mom and I enjoyed the air conditioned van and the fact that it was a small group, but our tour guide Dean was not very personable or enthusiastic. He didn’t even introduce himself when we met— just focused on picking up the last person on our tour… I’ve been on plenty of tours all over the world, and I understand each person has their own style of doing things, but even our guide admitted that this line of work was the last thing he should be doing because he’s such an introvert; this was no surprise. It wasn’t all bad though; we got to see a nice amount of things in the 4.5 hours we toured— we just googled or listened in on other tour groups. Given the small group vibe this experience has, the guide can really make or break the overall experience. Just something to consider. I honestly would have preferred a prerecorded tour where they play the audio in the van. Otherwise if you don’t mind potentially teaching yourself, I think this is a great tour!
Our driver, Dean was very responsive. Every time we contacted him and very receptive to our quest for educating and 11 year-old. He took us to great monuments and experiences, and even added one at the end to see the original Declaration of Independence, which was beyond amazing. There was no rush there was safe driving and lots of information shared.
Very informative tour of Washington DC, especially the mouments of Washington DC. Dean was the best guide! Very knowledgeable about the sites we visited.
Dean was extremely knowledgeable about DC. His enthusiasm for the locations was infectious. He truly loves DC and his job.
A lot of attractions, time to see at each stop. Water provided on an tour, which was very much needed because it was hot
This tour was excellent for a few reasons. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the sites we visited. There was plenty of time at every stop to really not only see, but also to feel the awe and respect for the soldiers who sacrificed for our freedom. The air conditioned van was a huge bonus. Steve and Edrick were extremely pleasant to spend time with. Definitely recommend this tour!!
Great tour guide in an air-conditioned van (really is a small group). We definitely would not have seen as many sites had we not taken this tour. Well worth it!
My teen son and I enjoyed our Monuments Tour with guide Steve and driver Edrick in an air conditioned bus. It was a hot day with many streets closed off due to the 250th holiday but Edrick's navigation skills were excellent. As a DC native, Steve provided interesting historical narration about the sites and refrained from disclosing his personal politics (thank you!). I also appreciated the personal text messages confirming meeting place and the small group experience. Solid 5 star tour.
They changed the meeting place and we were at the original pickup spot. No one checked. We didn't get picked up...no tour!
This was an excellent and a very informative way of seeing the key icons / landmarks in Washington DC in a short space of time as we only had two days in Washington. Our guide Steve Ryan was excellent. Totally recommend this tour.
This is a very comfortable, informative tour with a hospitable, knowledgeable guide & driver. I really appreciated the attention to detail, the punctuality & the complimentary water bottles along the way!
My son and I were visiting from the UK and we quite lucky to be the only ones on Steve’s tour that day. I was impressed by the communication maintained even before we had arrived in the US- an enail and a WhatsApp text to confirm the tour and meet-up site with directions. Steve’s van was very comfortable and clean, equipped with water, charging cables and umbrellas that he intuitively offered without being asked. I was impressed with his depth of knowledge (no surprise since he used to be a history teacher), dry wit, patience when we took slightly longer at a few stops and his respectful manner and kindness. He also offered to drive us to Georgetown as that’s where we had planned to go after our tour and recommended the best places to eat and shop at. I’ll definitely call Steve again when I’m in DC next. This tour is highly recommended and completely worth the money. Thanks again, Steve.
Everything was great! Steve was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond with any questions we had.
This tour excursion was excellent. From the driver to the presenter we enjoyed it. He explained everything. So detailed.
Safe driver…air conditioned van…very knowledgeable tour guide….comfortable van…and they gave us free water bottles during the tour to keep us cool. Steve is a great tour guide…he knows a lot about Washington, DC. Both he and his partner (the driver of the van) were very courteous and friendly. I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Washington, DC.
Thank you for a wonderful DC tour and experience, Rich!
Informative and fun tour. Our guide was pleasant and was able to navigate through the challenging construction and road work.
Great communication. We were never wondering where to meet, who to look for or what time. Very comfortable, clean van waiting conveniently at the Grand Hyatt that has the main metro station. Our guide was Steve. He’s a local, raised in DC at Georgetown and has been doing tours for a long time. I could tell that by the incredible amount of knowledge he has about the DC area. He answered everyone’s questions and didn’t miss a beat. He troubleshooted a road closure like only a local could. He’s smart, down to earth and very likable not to mention safety and customer satisfaction conscious. There was also a driver, whose name I didn’t catch, who works great as a team with Steve. He’ll stay with the van so anything you don’t want to lug around stays safe. He hands out as many waters as you want and makes sure you’re aware of the dangers of dehydration. They handle the van door for you, give you a hand out, and make you feel welcome and secure. It was an awesome tour and it really made our stay in DC memorable. Thank you gentlemen!
Dean is the best! We learned so much and really enjoyed the opportunity to learn and see all of the memorable monuments.
Dean was the best. He took us on a magical tour. My husband and I highly recommend him. As a vet he provides a special, heartfelt perspective on many of the sites.
If you get Steve as your guide, you’ll be blessed. He is a walking encyclopedia! Loved his special touches and attentiveness to details.
This is a very nice tour of the city. Steve, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the city and answered many questions. Would highly recommend.
This tour was fay! Ederick drove us to our destinations safely and expertly. Steve impressed us with his knowledge of the history of the city as well as current events. Steve also gave us pictures of the cherry blossoms and texted us the day before the tour to give us information about the tour.
I love the service. One thing need you help , I have 18$ discount from last trip at Singapore. Please apply for this trip in NY this time . Thanks Kim
Our guide (Steve) was excellent and very knowledgable. We enjoyed our tour and learned a great deal. Our driver (Edrick) was also great. My wife and I would highly recommend this tour!
It is an outstanding tour. Traveling in a van with a small group was comfortable and personal, our guide Steve was very knowledgeable, and we covered all the big sights.
Great way to see DC. Learned tons and enjoyed being dropped off at each site. Steve was great along with driver Edbert
Dean (driver) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the DC area. Provided a lot of history about buildings, monuments etc. allowed as much time to get out and explore different locations. Definitely recommend the tour!
Sunday April 19, 2026 Steve / tour guide and Edrick/ Driver We had a great experience with Steve's knowledge and Edrick's masterful driving weaving us around blocked of streets due to events surrounding the Capital Mall. It was a cool, rainy day and we had umbrellas available and water as needed. The weather didn't hamper our experience, in fact there were far less crowds. Steve provided a rich, historical backdrop, interesting facts and as a native of DC he provided insightful first hand knowledge.Steve is personable and engaging, a truly wonderful guide. Thank you Steve and Edrick for providing one of the highlights of my time in DC. PS we found the Grandma Moses exhibit at The Smithsonian following the tour. Thank you, Kat Hanson, Tucson AZ
Dean was very informative . He made it comfortable to ask questions . I hope future Viator yours will be just as good . Thank you
Daniel was an incredible tour guide! His energy, knowledge, and passion for the city and its history brought everything to life. This was one of the best parts of our trip, and I highly recommend it!
No show for tour vehicle . We waited for 30 minutes after pick up time, but we were there 25 minutes before pick up time
Had a very good tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Well worth the time.
Steve is a fantastic guide. So knowledgeable and helpful. Mr Edrick is a great driver, handles traffic and construction so well.
Steve was a great guide and Edrick made sure we got to all the stops and navigated the traffic thru DC. Super informative and great team taking us on the tour! Highly recommended to everyone.
Our tour bus driver, Daniel was exceptional. The service was top notch and he made the tour experience for my family worthwhile. Thank you!!
Steve and Edrick were great. Steve was hilarious with his dry sense of humor that we appreciated. Perfect amount of time at each stop. Fun way to see a lot in a short time. Would recommend!
Just had a great snapshot of Washington DC and its history and monuments. Steve seems to know everything about our capital and Edrick positioned us to avoid lengthy walks when we stopped. Couldn’t be happier.
