This tour was the highlight of my weekend DC getaway with my daughter. Regis was gracious, welcoming, funny, and so knowledgeable. He easily engaged with and drew each passenger into the Monument Tour experience, testing our knowledge, and had us all laughing together even when we answered incorrectly (“You’re so good…so close!). I felt especially blessed to hear his love for our country in his own journey to becoming a U.S. citizen. I would do this one again!

The tour took us to so many of the well-known monuments, which were beautiful to see at night. Our tour guide, Regis, was amazing! 10/10! He made the tour memorable and was very funny! “Oh, you were so close!”
Great tour. Smoky was knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell he really loves our capitol and is proud of the monuments he took us to. Highly recommend.
This was an extremely enjoyable evening. Mr. Smokey was knowledgeable, personable and informative at every stop. The "Washington DC Night-Time City Tour" included so many historical buildings and monuments, including the "US Marine Corps War Memorial" near the Arlington Cemetery. You couldn't ask for more. Great Job!
Perfect way to see DC. So beautiful at night!
Kareem was knowledgeable and entertaining. He shared stories, trivia games and so much information. Definitely brought the past to life.
Outstanding tour! Very comfortable van, excellent driver/tour guide. Reasonable price and well worth it. Had an amazing time.
Tour was amazing and our guide Kareem was incredibly knowledgeable and fun! We were even able to make a few extra stops!
Our tour guy Smoky was great he guided us through to all the monuments and told us the history and through in a personal story along the way. The bus was older and the driver was not so great he let us in the middle of the tour and took the bus to get fuel and left us hanging on the street hence not a four star experience.
Booked the tour on August 25th. Immediately received a confirmation email for the tour scheduled for the evening of October 9th. Showed up 30 minutes ahead of time to check in. Told we weren’t in their system and that their buses were full and couldn’t accommodate any more guests. Local tour guide does some digging and finds that the handoff between Viator and the local company (RSN) was botched. So we didn’t get to go! Disappointed. Supposed to get a refund quickly, but still waiting. Will probably need to contest the charge with my credit card company. Lesson learned - don’t trust Viator and be sure to confirm independently with the local tour operator. And they have zero options to help you handle problems when they arise.
We had such a great time even though it was raining the entire night. Kareen was a HUGE part of that. He did an incredible job of entertaining the bus with trivia games. His knowledge as a local who grew up in the area - put ours to shame! He stayed upbeat and kept us laughing during the 4-5 hour tour. It WAS supposed to be a 3 hour tour, but due to the weather, a slow moving (and grumpy) group and Memorial day road closures, it was extended. We are a couple in our 50s and had no trouble keeping up with his steady pace - even though my partner was in a walking boot. Ten years ago we toured the monuments by day on bikes with our teenagers, and this tour was totally different at night. I highly recommend seeing the monuments lit up at night. It is very emotional. It seems this tour proceeds no matter the weather, so come prepared. We had rain coats and umbrellas. One family was quite disgruntled that they could not get a refund due to weather, and often chose to stay on the bus. We did end up getting an UBER before the last night stop at the White House because we were so tired from a long day, and Kareem was very helpful and kind in trying to assist us in that. Thanks Kareem!
It was a great final night in DC. Smokey was a hoot! We loved his in-depth knowledge and best places for photos. His insider knowledge of some of the names on the Vietnam Wall was especially touching and made it more impactful. Great guide.
I had a great experience on this tour! Our tour guide, Smokey, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. I especially appreciated how he took the time to share detailed history and stories about the officers and nurses honored at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It really added meaning to the experience. The entire tour was smooth, well organized, and enjoyable. As a first-time visitor, I learned so much and felt like I got a great introduction to Washington, D.C. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially to anyone visiting the city for the first time. Thank you, Smokey, for making it such a memorable experience!
Definitely worth the money to see this many stops and not have to worry about driving yourself or finding parking. They pull up right to the front steps for you and our tour guide was full of trivia which was fun! Thank you Kareem!! So friendly and knowledgeable.
guide very knowledgeable. Little communication about mishaps….he left us at Jefferson and we were walking around looking for him. no explanation was given. Also, the reason I picked this tour was to see the Marine corps. we never got there. no explanation. the drop off and pick up point was close to nothing….
This tour was phenomenal. Viewing the monuments at night was simply amazing and the tour guide, Smokey, was a delight!! Highly recommend this tour.
Greatest tour guide that was very knowledgeable about history and made it fun Experience was unforgettable
Smokey was great! He was very knowledgeable about the sights on the tour. He was friendly, prompt and fun!
Smokey was fantastic. This tour was amazing, seeing the monuments at night is extra special. Don’t hesitate, book it!
The nighttime tour is a great way to see the monuments. Some are better viewed than others based on the lighting. The guide we had, Smokey, was excellent. You are able to get some beautiful pictures.
We had a wonderful tour with Smokey!! He was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and enjoyable. Smokey clearly loves his job and it shows in his presentation!!
This is one of the best experiences I have ever had! Our guide Kareem was so interactive, knowledgeable and kept the group engaged the entire night.. 10/10 will recommend!!!
This was a 'bucket list' item for me. My teenage kids loved it as well. Seeing the monuments lit up at night was almost "magical". The MLK Memorial and Jefferson Memorials are fantastic. We had the BESt tour guide possible with Mr. Kareem. He was very knowledgable, and even "quizzed" us on various trivia about the Presidents and America History...what fun! He also knew little secrets about some of the Memorials that you won't read about in the History Books. For me, visiting the WWII and Iwo Jima Memorials was the most heartfelt, since you get a real sense of just how terrible and tragic those conflicts were. I would highly recommend this nighttime tour for anyone who wants a highlight to their Wash DC trip....Try to get Mr. Kareem if you can...IMHO, he is the BEST!
This was a great experience! Our tour guide, Kareem, went above and beyond. He kept the group engaged and shared so many interesting facts along the way. I would highly recommend booking the nighttime tour.
It was great and the tour guide was very knowledgeable the scenery was beautiful he cares about your safety as welll
This was a very interesting and informative tour! Miss Mora has a breadth of knowledge that is amazing!
maybe it was just an off night, but this was the worst Viator i’ve taken by far. at first the A/C in the bus wasn’t working….it was like a sauna. everyone was sweating, the driver & guide called it in & the owner said it was “cooler in the back of the bus”😜 it wasn’t until someone pointed out the owner in a A/C van at a stop & I confronted him that he arranged for an replacement. after waiting 20+ minutes for the replacement, we learned that most of the streets & stops around the White House were inaccessible due to a foreign visitor. after 2 stops we & several other passengers decided we had spent enough time on an unremarkable, at best, evening & Uber back to our hotel.
Very knowledgeable and welcoming. Make sure you dress for the weather. Highly recommend the night time to avoid crowds and see the monuments in a different light.
Great experience! Very knowledgeable guide Includes stops at some lesser known monuments AC was top notch
Take advantage of the restrooms along the way. Not all stops have one. They kept the bus nice and cool. Be ready to enjoy some top flight singing!!
Our guide, Marcello was this companies only saving grace. He gave us plenty of time at each spot and was somewhat knowledgeable. However, at our second stop, the company called him and asked me and my family to transfer to a bigger vehicle and start the tour over for the fact that they had over booked and needed the extra seats on our van. We only had 2 extras and with the 4 of us moving that would still not been enough for the party of 8 they wanted us to trade with. So we said no. Another group of for on our van said yes, because they just wanted to get on with the tour after sitting there for 20 minutes to discuss the companies booking issues. And another couple just walked off saying they were done. Like I said Marcello was their only saving grace but even as nice and kind as he was, he seemed tired and had trouble remembering names and facts of the places we visited. In the end, the tour was ok but average at best and could have been much better for the cost.
We had a great time learning more about DC and seeing all the sights. Traveling by bus was a welcome way to have a break from the heat. We learned a lot!
Terrible tour from the lack of organization in getting people loaded on the bus to the lack of water and snacks offered to the closed off areas to the fact that it wasn't night to the very bad tour guide who was a fountain of disinformation. NEVER have we had such a bad tour from start to finish!
Had a great time. Smokey did a wonderful job, very knowledgeable about the history and he truly had a passion for his job. He was very helpful. Had a great time!
We were so delighted with our tour! Kareem was an enthusiastic tour guide with great knowledge and humor, and his trivia games engaged all passsengers on a full bus on a dark rainy night. My high school kids will never forget the experience. The bus was very comfortable, the driver handled the dark rainy night and roads nicely. 3 hours long, we felt it was a good investment for our Scouts.
Please pick this experience. KAREEM WAS THE BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER. I’m the person who wants to do all the tourist things always. I’m also shy but Kareem had me laughing and answering questions! Some I got right and some I got wrong. I left with so much more knowledge. Kareem walked us to every monument and explained what we saw. I could have done this all on my own but I’m so thankful I didn’t, it’s guides like him that keep me coming back. I’m going to do another tour.. and I want to request Kareem when I do!
The tour guide was a little late to the bus, however he made the whole experience of the tour worthwhile. He was knowledgeable, fun, asked questions, made the experience personal, had trivia and his demeanor showed that he really loves talking to everyone about his city.
We had a wonderful experience and we took beautiful pictures at the monuments with the perfect lighting to make our memories more special, our tour guide was very dynamic and knowledgeable, super friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this tour!!
The night tour was great, a lot of things to see. Everything was laid-back and never got rushed. It wasn't swamped with people. We had an amazing driver, Keigan. He was very friendly and excited to tell us the history on DC. Well worth it, Robert &Raquel
We did our tour with Smokey on 7/17. Since he is a native Washingtonian he is extremely knowledgeable about the details and history of the sites and area. He is an experienced tour guide and very entertaining. I highly recommended this tour. 😘😘
Our tour guid Smokey was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and charismatic with a beautiful singing voice. Thank you!
This bus is Air Conditioned!...the others (old trolley) are not. We were happy we picked this tour. And the best part was not just seeing all the monuments, but our guide Smokey was wonderful! He was fun, full of knowledge and a great tour guide! HIghly recommend!
Smokey provided a lovely experience at the memorials. I feel like I learned so much during the tour. would recommend to anyone. Smokey has a lovely singing voice and is a great story teller..
Smokey was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information and a fun way. Ron was an absolutely amazing driving getting us in and out of tight spaces. I would highly recommend this tour. He was even able to give us recommendations for dinner later in the evening. They're definitely both assets to your team.
Very informative and interactive tour guide. Friendly and made the experience awesome. Only problem bus A/C wasn’t working right otherwise an amazing experience
TOTALLY worth the money! You will learn so much more than you would on your own! Our tour guide, Smokey, was the BEST!!!
The air conditioned bus was great because the night was especially hot and humid. The bus was great to come back to and cool off before the next stop. We couldn’t see the White House due to construction, but Smokey filled in the spot with great replacements. Smokey was a great tour guide! He was knowledgeable, funny and talented. He had great stories and I’m leaving thinking I have seen a good chuck of DC. I’m sure it’s endless, but I’m satisfied!
Our tour guide, Smokey, was entertaining, knowledgeable and passionate about what he is doing. I did not feel bored and learned a tremendous amount of new information. Plus, Smokey has an excellent singing voice. I would definitely take another tour with him and highly recommend him. A definite assest to the company. I donot want to leave our driver out. Great driving skills.
I took my daughter on the night tour Saturday evening. The tour guide Kareem gave great insight on the history of the monuments, museums and misc topics. He is personable and kept the group engaged throughout the tour. We enjoyed our time.
Buyers beware do not waste your money. We were supposed to go to 10 DC monument sites. We went to three no AC in the busmultiple complaints about no AC in the bus from other peoples complaints. They steal your money refuse to refund it. Don’t meet the tour guidelines. I complain through Viator. They denied my refund three times. I have made complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Viator is not Better Business Bureau accredited. I have a feeling RSN tours are not either but I will be contacting the Better Business Bureauin Washington DC and I’ve also filed two complaints with the Massachusetts Attorney General and the Washington DC Attorney General they are stealing peoples money go on Facebook. Read the reviews before you purchase anything.
