Learn about the history and current inner workings of the US Supreme Court in a fun and relatable fashion. The Library of Congress features a magnificent display of Gilded Age extravagance, with a Great Hall renowned for its Beaux-Arts murals and sculpted marble. Once inside, you will explore a fascinating collection of state statues and discover the treasures of the Capitol Museum, including the historic catafalque built for Abraham Lincoln.
Step inside the historic areas of the U.S. Capitol with reserved access to the official guided tour. You will marvel at the magnificent Rotunda used to honor key leaders lying in state, walk through the original Crypt that supports the massive architecture above, and stand in the very room that once served as the U.S. House chamber—now known as National Statuary Hall.

Great experience! We got to see the Capital, Supreme Court, and library of Congress, all guide by a super knowledgeable, friendly, and fun guide (Evelyn). My wife and I had a great time!
James was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny! He made the tours exciting and fun! We learned so much history and got to see so many different thinks.
This tour is totally worth it! Our guide Evelyne was amazing, fun to listen to, and just a great storyteller overall! For a part of the tour you separate from your guide and join a group which is a bit busier but still fun. You may not be able to see everything from inside (for us it was the Supreme Court) because of what’s going on inside at that time but our guide made up for that! Evelyne even arranged to see some extra stuff which is the nicest thing! Totally recommend booking especially if you’re here in the off season and it’s quieter.
Guide was very knowledgeable however we did not get to go into the Supreme Court building due to tour being on a Saturday
Our guide, Skye was outstanding in her sharing of information as we toured the Supreme Court and Capital. She is extremely knowledgeable and her love of history shows in her work.
Skye was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, very easy to understand and hear. There wasn't a question she couldn't answer. We only wish we had time for tours of other museums as we enjoyed this one so much! Sure, you can visit these places on your own, and you should, but only after a tour. There is so much you miss by not having a knowledgeable person with you. We walked away with so much more than if we had toured on our own.
This tour was very good - we tired a bit after the two hours. Lots to take in and see, but tour guide was excellent and did keep us moving. So much to take in, but all wonderful!
Evelyn was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining! We would highly recommend her.
A good amount of walking. Stairs and inclines. Easy for most. Check what’s allowed in the capital prior to going. Get ready to see amazing artwork and beautiful architecture. Saw items I didn’t know existed or were there on display. Breath taking
So much easier and better than a self guided tour
Good tour of the Capitol building, Supreme Court and Library of Congress. Did not get to see the actual courtroom this time.
James was extremely knowledgeable and funny. We particularly enjoyed the British jokes. His vast experience in the Capital Bldg truly made our visit more enjoyable. It was a sincere 5-star experience.
This was very interesting and very informative
The Capitol is awesome and a must see The Supreme Court Court was very interesting. If you do this tour save some time for the Library of Congress since you will be in the area. Well worth it
Our guide Dash was great. He was knowledgeable, as well as funny, and made the tour quite entertaining. We were told we couldn't go up to the great hall in the Supreme Court because they were doing something that day but we still learned a lot from Dash. The tour continued as we headed over to Congress where we learned a little more before we were handed over to one of the congressional tour guides who was also very good. Overall we had a great time, learned quite a bit and would definitely recommend it.
Our guide Evelyn was wonderful!! She was informative, patient and passionate about the history she was sharing with us. Could not have been better!!
This was a great tour. Evelyn was a fantastic guide, offered great stories and went out of her way to look after us across the three sites. Highly recommended.
Our guide James was a blast and new his history and numerous tips on how to get around Washington DC
The guide was very informative but I did fall behind as the tour went on the guide was amazing, it is a bit of walking, elevator's and or stairs.
I don’t think anything needs to be added to the description. We were met promptly by the guide who was friendly and knowledgeably. It was really interesting and a good way to see the historical buildings.
very informative and our guide Dash was helpful He knew alot about how each branch worked I would definitely recommend this tour
Evelyn was amazing! Very knowledgeable guide and very fun. This tour of the capitol won’t disappoint.
The tour was great. I would definitely recommend. Both the Capitol building and the Library of Congress are beautiful and full of history. Evelyn, the guide, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It was great to get a guided walk around the both buildings and learn the stories that you would've missed on your own.
We had a great tour with Dash. He is a funny guy who knows so much about the Capitol and Library of Congress. Both places are magnificent and having a knowledgeable guide makes all the difference. Highly recommend taking this tour.
I wish the tour was a little longer! Shoutout to Evelyn! I also wish they had Venmo available because I didn’t have cash on me to tip…and felt rushed to walk in a line to view the capitol video. If you plan to tip as a younger person, make sure to have some cash on hand!!!
Excellent guide around the Supreme Court and the initial part of the Capitol. The orchestrated tour around the Capitol run by the Capitol was less impressive and quite short.
It says max of 15 people, but you get dumped into the crowds for the Capitol tour, which is done by the Capitol staff in a group of 30 while multiple other tours are going on. Nothing small group about that.
Great was very useful and fun!
Very well timed. Evelyn was super knowledgable about the places, communicated well and allowed plenty of time for rests and breaks. Small group made it very personable
We enjoyed our tour very much. Evelyn was Great! We were the only ones on our tour so it gave us time really get to know each other and share personal experiences. She cued us in on some of the things we could do after our tour or at a later date. Both the Library of Congress and the Capital were equally amazing and we could have spent day in each. And the Shakespeare Theatre was a wonderful surprise. Thank you again, Evelyn
Our tour guide, Evelyn, was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and exciting to listen to. When it switched to another “Capitol” guide there was more standing in one place.
Megan was quite knowledgeable and personable. We toured the Supreme Court building and the Capitol building and she made sure that we saw all we could see. First time in DC and I would highly recommend this tour.
Overall a great tour of the court and the capital building. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. He had a strong political bent that I could do without.
Our tour guide was Evelyn with Unscripted Tours. Evelyn was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun to spend time with! She knew the Capitol rotunda would be closing, so she hustled us in for the last tour in the early afternoon. She also got us tickets to the house chamber where we saw two bills pass. In the Library of Congress she explained the sculptures, murals and mosaics on the walls and ceiling. She also told us so much US history and we learned so much from her.
James and the other guides really know their story. James tells his story with flair and humor 😁 making it a easy to follow. Recommend this tour for sure
Tony was great but I expected more from the capitol and library. I would have liked to see more details about Congress and The House of Representatives, including where and how they meet. The experience was just ‘okay’.
Such a wonderful tour! Our guide Evelyn was first class all the way. She’s extremely knowledgeable and personable. Both the Capitol and the library were so interesting and we’re grateful for the experience.
Meg, our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. She encouraged us to ask as many questions as we liked. I highly recommend her as a guide.
A good guide makes all the difference and James was awesome ! He rememberess where everyone was from and the associated statue in the capital - he was outstanding and I highly recommend !
James was a wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and has good sense of humor.we enjoyed the tour very much.
Easy 2 mile walk through Arlington Cemetery with many stops along the way. Watched the Changing of the Guard and learned about the rigorous commitments and expectations of the servicemen. Overall Kevin made our morning was beautiful, contemplative, informative and entertaining. Highly recommend.
I had a great time with our tour guide Evelyn, who was fun and engaging. I would definitely recommend doing this tour.
Wonderful overview! Lots of information about US history was given! Highly recommend…Evelyn, our guide, was a gem!
Great tour! James was so knowledgeable and a delight to spend the day with. He also gave us some lunch recommendations for after that we definitely appreciated! Would book again and will be telling family for when they come to DC!
Amazing way to see these sites with a knowledgeable guide!
Tour guide was knowledgeable, clearly educated and entertaining. Supreme Court tour is most interesting . Highly recommend this tour!
It was a really great tour. If you get Evelyn as a tour guide you’ve hit the jackpot. She was really energetic, knowledgeable and fun.
Great guide! He was very knowledgeable and funny.
