What an incredible day I had visiting the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.! I’ve always had a passion for history, and visiting museums is one of my favorite things to do. I especially enjoy taking my time, reading about the exhibits, and learning the stories behind everything. This museum was certainly a treat! There is so much fascinating information about aviation, space exploration, and the incredible achievements made throughout history. During my visit, I also had the opportunity to enjoy an IMAX presentation and a show at the planetarium. Both were wonderful experiences and made my day even more memorable! I’m definitely not someone who likes to rush through a museum. I enjoy stopping, observing, reading, and appreciating everything around me. My advice is to set aside several hours so you can really enjoy your visit. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a space exploration fan, or simply someone who enjoys learning something new, this museum is absolutely worth visiting! I had a fantastic time and would gladly return. Another wonderful museum experience and another great memory to take home! Highly recommended!

Our guide, Leigh, was amazing! She turned our whole visit into an unforgettable experience! Well informed, witty, she kept our interest intact for almost 3 hours! The museum itself is full of very interesting objects, most of the original. Highly recommended!
Maureen was so knowledgeable and an excellent guide. She is passionate about everything in the museum
Babylon Tours in D.C. offered an incredible experience! Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also patient and helpful, making every moment engaging. The small group allowed for fantastic conversations that revolved around history and culture. I loved how we were encouraged to ask questions and explore at our own pace. It truly felt personalized. Thank you so much, Maureen Yacobucci, for such a memorable tour!
Great experience to learn more about US history of air and space. Many details unknown to us. Well done by our tour guide Maureen
Leigh made it a memorable. Her love of the stories, the narrative history, chronologically done, made for a wonderful afternoon. Her passion for the subject was obvious, and she communicated that to the rest of us.
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this museum as much as I did, but it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip to D.C. Seeing the actual Apollo capsule and historic aircraft up close was genuinely impressive. The exhibits are very well organized and easy to follow even if you’re not deeply into aviation or space history. There’s a good mix of interactive displays and iconic pieces that keep things interesting the whole time. Easily worth spending a few hours here!!
Meghan, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable with each and every exhibit she showed us. My husband, who works in the aeronautical field, was able to confirm within his own knowledge how accurate she was with her facts. We were a bit late for the tour because of getting lost, but she was very patient with us and waited. She helped guide us to where we needed to meet. She had a smile on her face the whole time! I highly recommend this tour and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Meghan as your guide!
Great personalized experience for a 2 hour tour. Covered all major highlights timeliness. You can check out more at your leisure
Maureen made our day. Wonderfully engaging and knowledgeable. A real pleasure
If you don't want miss any information I highly recommend getting a hired tour guide. There are so many things we learned than if we walked around ourselves. Our tour guide Rebecca was entertaining and very informative
Maureen was a fantastic tour guide. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience really enjoyable. Adding her personal stories and connections with the different exhibits helped bring them to life. Highly recommend a tour with her!
Our guide, Brenda was very knowledgeable and super fun.
The museum is an awesome experience and has been recently renovated. The exhibition areas are refurbished and very interactive. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the museum come alive.
Rebecca was so knowledgeable. We we covered so much ground and learned a lot ! She kept us on schedule!
Excellent museum illustrating all aspects of flight from the Wright brothers to the early attempts to visit space and beyond
it was during my last trip to Nasa that a visit to the smithsonian museum to pay my attraction to the air planes and space shuttle, during my time the discovery was the most advance shuttle ,there is still so many things to find out, what was in the lockers and learning about its programming, how the wings collaborate with the tails,I find scary moments under the belly with chapped marks, then the photo shots from the limb review, how can the camera see the earth in its totality when parked somewhere in Quebec. It is an experience not to be missed for amy.
Amanda was so knowledgeable, kind and patient. Good management of time. On our family's trip to DC, she was the best tour guide we had!
Excellent, very informative and very helpful very small group which had many questions she answered them all she took us to all parts of the museum. We didn’t miss anything.
Self tour, could not found tour guide, excessive pricing , per Museaum representative tickets are free. Will not recommend this activity. Customers should be refunded or at leat partially refunded.
Even though half of the Air and Space Museum is closed for renovations, Tim, our tour guide made us feel as though nothing was missed. He was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and funny.
Our original plan was to tour the museum ourselves, but there were no tickets available during our stay in DC. However, an excellent tip if this happens to you: you can still get in if you book a tour! And actually, I’m glad it worked out this way, because Tim was lovely. Very knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. It’s a massive museum, even with a large portion being closed off for renovations right now, so it was good to have someone navigate it for us!
Another amazing Smithsonian museum, this time concentrating on Air and Space. The displays are phenomenal, some are interactive and others are audible. The only disappointing thing is the missing history of Gustave Whitehead the true first in flight inventor. If you don’t know the history, research and you might be surprised.
The museum is filled with history of aviation and space. This is a tour you should not miss. Our guide provided interesting historical references and background information. I like the efficiency of entering at a designated time with our tour guide and seeing a great deal of the museum in two hours.
Air and Space Museum Tour Review with Rebecca If you’re planning a visit to the Air and Space Museum, make sure you take the guided tour — and if you’re lucky enough to have Rebecca as your guide, you’re in for a phenomenal experience. From the moment the tour began, Rebecca brought history to life with her passion, deep knowledge, and engaging storytelling. She didn’t just walk us through exhibits — she connected the dots between aviation milestones, space exploration breakthroughs, and the human stories behind them. Whether she was describing the Wright brothers’ first flight or the awe-inspiring Apollo missions, Rebecca made every stop feel important and alive. Her energy was infectious, and she welcomed questions at every turn, making sure everyone — from curious kids to lifelong aviation enthusiasts — felt involved and inspired. She had a way of explaining complex topics in accessible, relatable terms, all while keeping the pace moving and the group engaged. What stood out most was how personalized the tour felt. Rebecca didn’t deliver a script — she responded to the group’s interests, adjusted based on questions, and even offered extra insights that aren’t found on the exhibit plaques. It’s one thing to see the artifacts and read about history — it’s another to experience it through someone who clearly loves what they do. Rebecca’s tour added so much value to our visit, and I’d highly recommend requesting her if you can. Five stars — thank you, Rebecca!
Our tour guide Meghann was great!!! She was very enthusiastic & knowledgeable. We throughly enjoyed it!!!
We had heard varied things about this museum since a large portion of it is closed for renovations. Our guide, Meghan did a great job of helping us really make the most of the open exhibits. She really knew her stuff and kept it fun and informative for our group (varying ages). She gave us a wonderful overview of the Wright brothers, commercial air flight and NASA. She was a pleasure to spend time with!!
Even though portions of the Air & Space Museum were closed, our guide did a lively and informative tour of what there was to see!
Christopher is very knowledgeable and happy to share all aspects related to the history of air and space. We enjoyed the time, appreciated learning new information as well as being able to ask questions along the way. A very worthy visit.
Leigh was incredibly knowledgeable and kept you interested throughout the tour. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the National Air & Space Museum.
Paul was amazing!!! Me and mom went on and on about him our entire trip. He had a wealth of knowledge, experience, and footage that made our tour just really top notch. He told stories and captivated us for the full 2 hours. I could never say enough good things about Paul and this tour company!
It was a fantastic tour with Christopher! He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining!

Meghan was excellent. She was knowledgeable, highly skilled at delivering, and a thoughtful person as well. She was worth the high price.
Amazing! If you’re into space and anything that moves… this is the tour for you. Paul was very knowledgeable and professional.
Rebecca our tour guide was excellent! She was knowledgeable and so courteous! We are so happy with her as our guide. Most enjoyable!
Paul was outstanding and a great guide. His personal knowledge added so much to the tour. Smithsonian is forever changing and always interesting.
Rebecca was knowledgeable and fun. She was really patient with our very chatty 8 year old son. :) We had a great time and learned a lot! Five stars!
Great tour to see the main highlights of this museum. Our guide was very interactive with our kids, and asked them questions etc. Would recommend this tour if you are wanting to see the museum in a time efficient way while also learning interesting facts.
Ryan was a wonderful guide. We did a private tour of the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum with him. He was incredibly pleasant, had an easy way with our kids, and gave a well informed tour with interesting facts. Our kids raved about him and he provided a great experience from start to finish! We even had the lights go out 3/4 of the way through our tour and Ryan was a total pro in navigating the situation and getting our family safely out of the building.
Really Fabulous. Tim was great! Very informative and interesting. Would highly recommend this tour for visitors
Professional and experienced tour was with Tim and he was a perfect guide. It’s challenging to move through the crowds and still keep the narrative going. Tim was a real pro. Down to earth and loves his job.
Great way to visit the Air and Space Museum. Our guide, Tim S., was wonderful. Super friendly, funny and knowledgeable I would highly recommend the tour for anyone with kids - provided a ton of information and kept my daughter engaged and interested.
Tim did a great job! We enjoyed sense of humor and his knowledge of all the displays and history of air and space. He took time to answer questions and involved us by asking questions.
The host was very knowledgeable and did a good job of keeping the group together and integrating the attendees that arrived late. Disappointing that several new exhibits weren't open to the public as of yet. Well worth the expense!
This tour is a scam. Supposed to be timed entry tickets to the air and space museum but it turns out to be a walking tour only for almost $100 a person. Total scam and I can’t get my money back
Amazing, amazing, amazing! While not everything there was 'real' (models), it was extremely interesting! Had a blast!
