Small-group History Tour Pub Crawl Of Washington, D.c.

We had a fantastic time on this pub crawl and would highly recommend it. Our guide, Kyle, was excellent—very engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing the history of Washington, D.C. What made the tour especially interesting was the variety of stories Kyle shared. Beyond the general history of DC, we learned a lot about the city's alcohol-related history, along with some fascinating stories involving spies and the CIA that I had never heard before. It was a great mix of history and entertainment that kept the tour interesting throughout. The bar selection was also great, with each stop providing a nice atmosphere to enjoy a drink while learning more about the city. Overall, this was a really fun and informative experience that combined sightseeing, history, and nightlife. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Washington, D.C.!

The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the history interesting. My only complaint is that for something advertised as a “pub crawl,” I was surprised that no drinks were included in the price. Having to purchase every drink separately just seems a little odd for a pub crawl. Otherwise, we enjoyed the tour and our guide did a great job.

Amazing Bar Crawl. We started out our trip in DC with Jack. He brought us to really cool bars and learned fun history that we would not have found on our own! Highly recommend as a start to your DC trip to get a lay of the land for the rest of the vacay! Jack was a fantastic tour guide! So much fun! We had a blast!

We visited 4 bars which are all a fairly short walk between them. At each one we got a short interesting history lesson. Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. We opted to buy our own drinks as the timing might be difficult for 4 drinks for most people.

We had a great time! We didn’t let the rain, wind and tornado watch deter us! Being from Arkansas, we were like meh, just another normal day for us…Dalton was just the best, he was funny, informative and really stayed connected with everyone! We had already walked past these buildings without knowing how nice they were inside, so it was great to be guided into the nicest places. Cath’s history made it extra fun. She was very accommodating of my hearing difficulty as well as interesting to talk to.

Our tour guide was friendly and shared interesting stories. Myself and partner were the only ones who booked for that reservation, I think it would have been a better time with a group rather than just us and the tour guide. Also, only one of the bars on the planned route we hadn't been to yet and it was closed that day. Would suggest sharing the names of the bars on the itinerary so people know before booking.

I went for a dry run and bought the drinks separately from the group as I am not big fun of beer however Cassie was very knowledgeable and recommended drinks to the rest of the group. She also gave us a history of places we went to and of DC in general. I highly recommend this especially if Cassie is your guide.
