Pedro with Black Hawk Sedans was great! Very knowledgeable. Shared lots of information and personal stories about the monuments and Washington DC in general. The car was immaculate and well stocked with water for our group. Pedro’s driving was always calm and controlled. He made us feel very safe with him. We could not have seen as much without this service! The price was very competitive and well worth it to be able to move at our own pace.

Pedro was our tour guide for this amazing experience. He had so much personal knowledge of all of the sites as well as a lot of anecdotal insights. We saw some more sites than were listed. Along with the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorial - we saw the WW 2 Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr., Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Marine Corp Memorial, the Capital, the Pentagon - it was so great. We were driven around in a beautiful, spacious, comfortable ride. We would highly recommend this tour.

The van that picked us up was beautiful and stocked with cold bottled water and mint candies. The driver looked so sharp in a suit and it felt very luxurious. He was very polite and we had a beautiful time. The only downside is that we had hoped for a little bit of history as we were driving around, but that didn't happen. The driver was very accommodating and took us to a hotel to find a bathroom when everything else was closed. In addition, he did not give us a time limit at each stop, which was really nice. We did not spend too long because it was freezing outside! Overall, we really enjoyed the entire tour and would highly recommend it.

The monuments and what they stand for, especially the Jefferson, Lincoln and MLK memorials were highlights. The war memorials, especially the Iwo Jima statue and the Pentagon 911, were very moving. The view at night of the Washington and Jefferson memorials and the Capital from the Lincoln memorial was particularly memorable. And of course, Pedro, our tour guide and racounteur. His stories and wit kept us entertained between stops and there was never a dull moment. Top tour of the visit for us.

Gilberto was our driver - very personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He was ready and waiting for us before our pickup time in a clean and comfortable SUV. He was patient with our family of 6 ranging from ages 7 to 80. He drove us to all the memorials that were more spectacular to see at night. Also drove us through Georgetown, Embassy Row, Ford Theater - anywhere we wanted in the allotted 4 hours. It was nice to learn the history of the city and we covered so much ground than we would have on our own. So glad to be in a private car vs a crowded bus. I booked a Night tour for me and a friend. Tour was great, monuments at night are incredible beautiful, our driver was Jorge and He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour, especially because it is a different perspective to see them during the night. This tour was unforgettable experience for us.

My wife, Maria, had booked a group tour requesting seating in the front in order to read the guide’s lips; she is legally deaf, but can hear a little out of one ear with a hearing aid. She canceled, and rebooked the private tour, and was very excited thinking she would get much more out of it. Between our guide’s heavy accent, he is from Brazil, and his battle with allergies that he was obviously losing, I could not understand him, much less my wife! She checked out in the first half hour, and I got tired of asking him to repeat himself. I believe he is probably a nice person, and his vehicle was very clean. But you need to do a much better job screening the people you hire. All it would take is one phone call to confirm this. He may have been knowable regarding the history, etc of Washington, but if he is unable to communicate with his riders it doesn’t matter. We only had two nights in DC, this was a waste of one. Fortunately I had booked a bike tour today through your group. We had a great guide; very knowledgeable, and my wife had no problem understanding him. Respectfully, Wade White DVM
