A perfect way to see the city. We had a wonderful time and learned so much, especially our teenage boys. He went above and beyond to get us to all of the attractions, with plenty of time to walk through the memorials. Highly recommend!

Great driver. Kind, thoughtful of our time and what all we wanted to see. Nice SUV, gave us a lot of history about the things we passed and places we went. Highly recommend to get a relaxed tour with someone knowledgeable of the area and thoughtful to make the trip what u want.
Good experience . She knew how it do the tour very well. I was travelling with aged parents and she made sure to give comfortable experience o them as well.
Mark our tour guide driver was great! Very nice, knowledgeable and flexible. . The car was in need of some maintenance and cleaning. Passengers window stuck either open or close, interior of vehicle was worn. There was a dirty spit cup and dirty napkin in back seat door.
Cliff was amazing! He gave us so much history about the DC area, monuments and more. He had really good stories about different places that gave us a greater appreciation for the sites we were seeing. We liked how he asked what we really wanted to see & made sure it happened.
Great experience and a friendly and knowledgeable Guide. This was a great way to see DC with my 91 year old Dad.
Great experience! Mark our driver was on time, picked us up and took us for the tour. He was great! Very nice, explained each stop, never rushed us, it was so nice to have a driver. I highly recommend having a private tour!!
Excellent tour guide - really cares about his customers - customized our tour! Sebastian went the extra mile for us!
Excellent Tour! Sebastian was phenomenal!! We highly recommend Continental City Tours!!
Wow, we had such an amazing experience with Sebastian. We were blown away about his knowledge he shared about every detail of DC. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. Very friendly, nice clean Escalade. Never did he make us feel pressured on time and he definitely went the extra mile. An experience we will never forget. Worth every penny. Thank you Sebastian!!!!
Great way to see the best of Washington DC with a knowledgeable guide, definitely an enhanced experience! Our guide Helga was excellent! Knew the city and the sites, and was patient with us when we wandered. We would definitely do this again!
Sebastian was a great tour guide! Everything went smoothly and he dropped us off at an alternate spot we requested.
Mark was a terrific guide and driver. Picking us up at our hotel and later dropping us off there was so convenient. We actually took tours 2 separate days with Mark. By the second day it was like having a friend show you around his city. Mark knows DC very well and is a font of information. One day we did the monument tour and the next tour we did was Arlington and Mount Vernon. Both were fantastic and memorable days. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and would ask for Mark as well.
We were in ~ Dawn for the first time with my husband and I and my dad who turned 80. My mom recently passed and we made a promise to make his bday special. When we asked him what he wanted to always do it was visit the Vietnam Memorial. So we planned it. He’s a bit unstable for walking much so we booked the 4 hour Private tour. Sebastian was out driver and let me just say he was so educated on all the history but in a way that made it all so much fun. He was caring and accommodating to all our needs. This kid was only 21 and mom & dad you raised a great man!! I’d do this all over again with Sebastian as our guide. When we were done with our day it was hugs all around.
Sebastian aka Sea Bass was absolutely stupendous. We had a girls weekend with 3 girls. He was so attentive, knowledgeable & interactive. He made the Clark Griswald tour of DC so much fun. This is a family business & I would recommend this to anyone interested.
Tour guide and car were very good. Guide was super profesional and car was very luxurious. We were really satrisfied.
Mishelle was fantastic! She promptly picked my wife and me up at our hotel and greeted us with a warm smile. She started by asking about our top priorities, then created a route that made sure we could see everything on our list. She was easy to hear and understand, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable. Washington, D.C. traffic can be hectic, but we always felt completely safe in her vehicle as she navigated the cars, buses, bikes, pedestrians, and busy streets. Mishelle made sure we had plenty of time for photos, to watch the Changing of the Guard, and to take in each stop without feeling rushed. Her experience really showed when she encouraged us to take complimentary cold water before our walk through Arlington National Cemetery—it was a small gesture that made a big difference. Highly recommend Mishelle if you are looking for a personable, knowledgeable guide and a truly friendly sightseeing experience in Washington, D.C.
Tour guide was wonderful, so many interesting stories! We really enjoyed this and would do it again!
If you have 1 day and you want to see more than the obvious, Mark will tell you and show you to look at the monument referring to what was going on that the monument was intended to represent. Worth every penny!
This night time tour was great! Our tour guide Victor was so fun. We hit all the highlights in DC and he was very informative about all the sights. Thanks Victor!
Continental City Tours was the provider. The vehicle was immaculate and the model promised. The guide, Sebastian, was knowledgeable, pleasant and receptive to our needs and requests. It was a wonderful afternoon.
This tour was fantastic!!!! Sebastian was so fun and knowledgeable We had 7 people and the Sprinter van was comfortable and perfect for all of us. Even though it rained (Sebastian had umbrellas for us) he knew the exact route to take and gave us lots of photo opportunities. Such a great way to see the city. I highly recommend!
A great way to see the city without a big group. Catered to our needs.
Victor was a wonderful tour guide, and being able to have the tour in Spanish, so my family could fully understand and enjoy, was priceless.
Helga our tour guide was awesome . Was on time to pick us up . Very flexible in terms of timing and what we wanted to see . I think this is well worth the money .
Excellent experience. Our guide was absolutely the best! So informative and fun!
I went with my husband and 11-year-old daughter and we loved it. We got to choose the things we wanted to focus on, and our guide, Cliff, was excellent. He was able to tell stories I had never heard about DC and I’ve been here many many times. We saw a lot in a very short time. We did the tour on our first morning here which was a great overview. Highly recommend!
Cliff was the perfect tour guide. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He was knowledgeable, funny and really seemed to care that we had a wonderful experience. We certainly did. He made the day exceptional.
Great experience. Driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable and was very engaged throughout the tour.
This tour company is top notch ! Our family has taken many tours while traveling and we all agree this experience was perfect. We took the 7pm tour and seeing all the monuments lit up was stunning!
I took my mother in law and aunt. We had Cliff who was absolutely AMAZING!! He was very accommodating and customized our experience. His knowledge and sharing of information made our trip very memorable!! Thanks.
Sebastian was an excellent driver and guide. Great personality and wonderful interesting pieces of information about the various sites. The vehicle was clean and comfortable; easy in/out access for my parents.
Helga was fantastic. Cannot say enough good things.
I brought my homeschooler (high school) son on this tour to start our week in DC. There was so much interesting history and information given to us by Cliff that I’m sure my son will not forget what he learned today.
We had a wonderful time touring the city with Mark. We learned so much and it was perfect to have flexibility in our schedule given we have smaller kids.
This trip worked really well for our group of 3 "Golden Girls". The hotel pick-up and drop-off was very convenient. Our driver/guide, Victor, was on time. Even though we had all been to DC years ago, he provided new and interesting information. The trip stopped multiple times for photo stops. Victor was very considerate with opening doors and assistance getting in and out of the vehicle. When one of the group just wanted to stay in the vehicle, that was fine. Arlington National Cemetery was closed. We started at 6:30 pm and we were back at the hotel at 9:10 pm.
Worth every nickel! A private experience with a expert and cordial guide makes this tour an exceptional value. We would do this again! Our guide Cliff clearly loves his role and it shows during every minute of the tour.
This was the best tour ever! Helga knew everything about the museums and monuments! She even told us about secret things to look for at some of the monuments!
Our guide was great. Nick took us to the places we wanted to see. We had an 8 year old with us so we wanted to see certain things but not too many since we did not want to wear out Our child. Super accommodating. Value was a little high, but for what we wanted to do it was good. I would do this again if we go back.
Helga was amazing. She had advanced knowledge of not only historic events, places people. She also was up-to-date on current events. The entire tour was extremely thoughtful to our needs, and it was never rushed. Highly recommend taking this personal tour of Washington DC the best way to see the highlights.
Our guide, Cliff, was very knowledgeable and accommodating for special requests. I learned a lot from his stories about our history. Escalade was very comfortable! Highly recommend!
Fantastic experience with Continental Tours. Mark was fabulous with our 4 hour private DC trip: warm, knowledgeable, patient and extremely accommodating. We had a great time. The Company does private Airport pickup and drop offs as well- we did both and Jessica was wonderful! Great work guys, keep it up! Thoroughly recommend.
We were so impressed with our tour guide Helga. She was not only professional and early to arrive but she knew so much history about the monuments and all the back streets to avoid traffic. Not only that, many of the streets were blocked due to the Freedom 250 Grand Prix. That didn't stop her from taking us to all the stops on the itinerary. We learned so much on the tour and enjoyed being in our own group in an extremely comfortable Escalade. We had fun and it was a relaxing, yet entertaining experience. I like the way she let us get out and go explore on our own to take pictures and see the history up close. I made a special request at the end for a suprise trip to get ice cream for my Uncle and Helga didn't blink. She took us to a really cool spot called the Wharf. We ended up going back to the Wharf several more times. We enjoyed the area so much with all the restaurant options. I highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.
We had a great morning. Victor was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was flexible to meet our needs - 4 teenagers who hadn't had breakfast!! The vehicle was very comfortable and our pick up location was perfect. Victor clearly knew a lot about Washington DC and we all learnt loads. Some of us have fallen in love with Washington DC ❤️
Excellent and informative tour conducted by Nick. Showed the main sites and provided advice as to what we could do with rest of our day
This was a fantastic tour of Washington! Seb, our host, was a delightful, enthusiastic, knowledgable and courteous young man. We saw a lot of the city in a relatively short time period and Seb was happy to tailor the itinerary to our requirements.
Amazing night tour of the DC memorials. Sebatastian was amazing and extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Our private tour of Washington, D.C., with our family was an absolute highlight of our trip. Our guide Helga, was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging with our kids, and customized the entire route to fit our pace while seeing all the major monuments up close.
