Once you paid for the service not cheap than they call you the day before and say now you have to pay a fee for tolls and airport fee 1st there were no tolls and to be dropped off they claimed there was a fee we will never use your services again

The transportation was on time, very nice, with no rambling conversation. We had help with our luggage.

First- cars and drivers were great. Second- reservation experience was AWFUL! I had a group of seven so I reserved a limo for seven. Got a call on day before that no limo was available. Was told I would need to make alternate plans. Asked if they could send two cars. Was told not unless I changed reservation through Viator. So I added a second car. Then they told me they couldn’t send any car until I updated the limo. Then a departure location had Alexandria instead of downtown DC. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to line this out and really struggled to get your staff to understand that I just needed to get 7 people from hotel to airport. One of your staff said “why do you have two reservations?” I was not as polite as I should have been…. Your website is confusing, customer service was not great, and all this because you didn’t have the car available that I ordered and paid for a month ago!

Very professional and courteous. Gave us some landmarks info along the way also. Very early morning pickup but we had no problems getting to the airport on time

Iman and Phillip were our drivers to and from the airport! On time service helpful with bags, customer service with a smile! Professional, courteous and Iman played great music along the ride!! Price was expensive but the quality of service matched❤️

This could have been a great experience if the third party company had not called within 24 hours of the rental stating their company was requiring me to pay $15 for tolls and tips. Originally the company tried to say the $15 was for tolls and told me to look it up because there was a toll between the airport and my hotel with a fee to get into the airport. So we got off the phone and I looked it up. No toll and the airport only charged $5 if they stayed more than 11 minutes. So he called back and said I can cancel knowing for well I would not get any of my money back because it was within 24 hours of the booking. I asked him to explain the $15 again. This time he said $5 was for entry into the airport and $10 was a tip. I went ahead and paid the $15 because I was forced to pay but the service was not deserving of a $10 tip. After looking further into the $10 ride from the hotel to the airport the original $87 I spent was overpriced. I know better next time.

We were informed the night before we were being picked up that in addition to the fee we paid of 108.00 we needed to give the driver 25.00 in cash. For airport fees. What a rip off and a lie. We could have taken a Lyft or Uber for 25.00. But not being at all familiar with DC I didn’t want to take the chance of not getting a ride to the airport. On a positive note the driver was very nice and professional.

Arranged for a ride from my DC hotel to DCA for 1:15 PM. Received a text at 12:45 that the driver had arrived. At precisely 1:14 PM I received a phone cal from someone at the transportation company telling me that my driver was waiting and that I should come down right away and that I would be charged a late fee if I wasn’t down in 15 minutes. (I believe they actually have a 30 minute grace period for waiting) We were on our way down to the vehicle when he called (just waiting for hotel bellman to bring our luggage down) and arrived at the hotel lobby at 1:20. When the man called me I told him I scheduled a 1:15 pick up - not 12:45 so it was not my fault the driver was waiting. He responded in a rude manner that it was now 1:15 and I wasn’t there yet. I didn’t mind the call to let me know the driver was there. What I did not like was the rude manner in which I was spoken to. This was not satisfactory to me. It was an expensive 10 minute ride to the airport ($120+) and I expected a little more politeness on the part of the caller. The driver was polite and did a fine job.

The ride was great. Our flight was at 6am and our driver was ready and professional dressed outside of our hotel at 4am. He was very polite. I didn’t like the last minute $25 “cash” fee we were asked to pay at pick up. The site does say that we would be responsible for fees if any and when the driver called dispatch they explained it was for airport fees. What airport fees? The driver drove us to the terminal and dropped us off. There were no fees and the driver did not take a toll road. I was disappointed but did not argue as we had no choice.

Our pick up and drop off worked out well; for our departure from DC the driver had a little trouble finding our residence to pick us up, but finally found us and it all worked out.

The driver was nice and the dispatcher was very motivated to fix the problem but the driver was 15 minutes last picking us up because he could not find the hotel. Ultimately not a problem since we still got to the airport with time to spare.

<p>I have used Viator for the last ten years for air port pick ups and departures. Literally all over the world, check your records, and I have encouraged my traveling companions to do the same. As usual I schedule a pick up from Reagan International at the same time, I schedule our departure. The cost was 100.00 to take 4 of us 4 miles PLUS when we arrived we were told we owed 25.00 cash for airport taxes. 125.00 for 4 miles. We used Uber to go from our hotel in Alexandria to the National Cathedral Black SUV 48.50. We took Uber back and forth from Alexandria to different destinations in DC and combined it did not cost what our pick-up and departure of 4 miles cost. So disappointed in Viator. 10 years of booking with Viator and now I will second guess using it for our Tavel needs. So sad!!!</p>

<p>Our driver made it around multiple road closures to get us to the airport on time. He was also waiting curbside 10 minutes before our pick up time. We really appreciated his promptness.</p>

<p>Paying 65.00 for a 12 - 15 ride is way over priced. I was told 50.00 when I booked the transfer, and then was told by the driver when we got picked up we had to pay an additional 15.00. My advice - take a taxi - there are a lot of them - price would been around 20.00 for the same distance. I will never use this service again.</p>

Taxis appear to be plentiful and cost approximately 20 from downtown around the White House to DCA. So paying 50 for this service plus an additional 14 in cash is a bit much. If I had it to do over again, I would just use a taxi.</p>

This fee was not included up front when you booked. Moreover, you have to pay it cash no credit card! This looks to me like a ripp-off! I will not ride with Viator again.</p>

<p>Great and lovely driver (George from Georgia - Country) but there was a mix up with confirming the booking (via booking company not car company) making us run late for the airport. George thankfully was close by and got us there just on time. Also, the car company demands $30.00 gratuity be given to the driver before leaving for the airport. The car company neglected to tell us this in the confirmation phone call.</p>

<p>Ride was almost 1/2 hr late. Driver parked on busy street and was going to attempt to drag our luggage across the street as well as expecting us to cross in middle of block. When hotel valet told him to bring car in hotel entrance, he proceeded to back up on busy one way street. A cab driver finally stopped him. Once we finally got in car, we had to tell him which way to turn. He did not seem to know his way to airport until he GPS'ed it on his phone. He did insist we give him $10 (gratuity) to complete ride. Gratuities should not be forced from people, they should be earned for good service.</p>

The car was very nice and the $50. was satisfactory but, the $20. tip requested form the driver was a little bit overboard for me. I found another cheaper and quick way to the airport following my stay. Thanks for the ride in the beginning anyway.</p>

<p>I enjoyed being picked-up by sedan and directly driven to the airport/hotel without the hassle of sharing a shuttle with many other people in a crowded uncomfortable van environment.. Both drivers in each direction were very personable and very accommodating. What I didn't understand nor enjoy was providing the same information given on the internet of name, pick-up date, time, location, number of people in the party, and calling a number that was not even in the Washington, DC area. It always seemed like the people on the phone didn't know my paid confirmation existed and at one point even asked for my my VISA credit card number again for my prepaid reservation. If you asked for the information on the internet then why wouldn't all this be accessible via a confirmation number in a database for easy access. Instead, all of this information had to be asked twice. Once upon arrival and then the return. It's very time consuming and a bit frustrating knowing that everything had to be repeated a total of three times. Internet, and each leg of the pick-up at the airport and then pick-up at the hotel. I would give a five star rating if this solution is remedied in the future.</p>
