Everything was perfect on this lovely autumn day in wine country. We felt like Dan was a friend by the end of the day. Always a great experience with this tour company. Christian is a fantastic business owner that has thought of everything to make this a lovely event.

Bring water. Excellent sampling of wines. I suggest paying in advance for guided tasting. Also it’s a good idea to pack a light lunch or snacks.

What a great experience put on by Christian and his company, Vineyard Voyages. We were on a bus with over 20 people. Christian did an amazing job keeping us engaged every time were were on the bus. We played trivia games where everyone got a white board, while he asked questions about wine history in Louden county. Toward the end we played a trivia game on our phones to see who was paying attention all day. This made the drives awesome. The longest we drove was 30 minutes, which me and my friends appreciated. The wineries were magnificent, with beautiful landscapes and great wine. We used to travel much further to Charlottesville, but now realize we can get the same experience only an hour away from our home in Maryland. Christian really did do a great job. You can tell he was a teacher by the way he kept our attention and dropped tons of knowledge about wine history (he is def a connoisseur). I would recommend Vineyard Voyages to anyone. You will have a great time. Thank you Christian and Joseph (our bus driver)! Can’t wait to do it again next year.

We had a fantastic day trip visiting three vineyards in Loudoun County, VA. The whole experience was relaxing, well organized, and a lovely way to enjoy the beautiful Virginia countryside. Our guide, Dan, was especially excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help everyone in the group. He made the day feel welcoming and seamless from start to finish. The coach was comfortable, and our driver did a wonderful job keeping us safe as we traveled between the vineyards. Each winery offered a great opportunity to unwind, take in the scenery, and sample a variety of wines. We thoroughly enjoyed the pace of the tour and would happily recommend Vineyard Voyages to anyone looking for an enjoyable and stress-free Virginia wine country outing.

Haley, the tour guide was awesome, she kept the bus ride entertaining with fun facts, trivia and knowledge of the area and wineries. The 3 wineries visited gave us a beautiful view of the county and showed how the same general area could develop very different wines.

Haley was fantastic. Knowledgeable, funny and very attentive. Would definitely do a tour with her again. The day went bye far too quickly.

Excellent tour! We had a fabulous time. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the three wineries we visited were charming and fun. We purchased just the transportation option and purchased wine in our own. Doing it that way we had a bit of a wait for service but very enjoyable. The tour guide worked very hard to keep things moving and stay to the schedule. There was good music on the bus and lots of cool trivia. Well worth it. Will definitely book again!!!

Oh wow! My daughter got tickets for my birthday and we had an amazing time. Pickup and drop-off was easy and convenient. Our tour guide was fun and engaging and the other tour goers were a hoot! We were all family singing ABbA on the drive home.

1. First and foremost…. Haley was a great host! Also…she noted that if the tour is dead, the tour guests killed it. So be lively!! 2. The winery experiences were good. Learned a lot from Casamel. Had fun at Firefly. Fleetwood was a nice place to get a bite and listen to a live performer. 3. The amount of time spent at each winery was just enough. 4. Bring snacks. 5. The pickup was mid for us because some outdated information on the website had a few of us at an old pickup spot. 6. Also, Haley said we were her best tour group ever….so you have a lot to live up to. 😁

We really enjoyed it. One problem was meetup address was I correct. We did enjoy the comradity on the bus. The guide was great.

I had an amazing time with my family and friends ! We went on the tour on June 13th and Dan was our tour guide and he as amazing, informative, and just so much fun. The vineyards were top tier and I can't wait to go on another tour with him. Highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful time on our Vinyard Voyages wine tour yesterday! Dan, the owner and our tour leader was exceptional. He was quite friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable about the region and its varietals. We love to taste and not worry about getting behind the wheel. The tour was in a brand new midsize bus with about twenty passengers. Thank goodness for the excellent air-conditioning. In addition to playing trivia we had an excellent playlist of music for the entire journey. Dan took us to three different wineries, which were all welcoming and comfortable. All had very nice wines and of course we took home some bottles. At the second winery, we had the capability to order lunch in advance. The VV website made it easy. They offered various sandwiches, wraps salads, and my wife and I had a nice charcuterie board. The itinerary was spelled out nicely in advance, and it was so easy getting to the pick up spot taking the metro from Central DC. Thank you so much Dan for a wonderful day and we hope to return to see some different wineries later in the season.

A great tour: for a reasonable fee you visit three vineyards in just 8 hours. We started at 10 am and finished at 6 pm, and the time just flew: a superb guide Dan, coupled with a skilled driver Joseph and a high-spirited group of 19 visitors made the tour worth it. We laughed, cheered, ate, and sang along all the way- highly recommend!

A wonderful experience with family

As a travel advisor, I booked this trip to celebrate a client’s milestone birthday, and I decided to attend myself, it was truly a great experience from start to finish! My client had an amazing time, and our guide Dan was attentive, entertaining, and very knowledgeable about each location we visited. We all selected the Connoisseur package, and it was absolutely money well spent. The multiple tastings at the different vineyards were excellent, and each winery had its own unique vibe, beautiful scenery, and great customer service. There were about 15 people on the tour, including 3 birthdays being celebrated, which made the atmosphere even more fun and memorable. We also appreciated how organized everything was, and we arrived back at the meeting location right on time around 6 PM. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun new adventure, celebration activity, or relaxing day exploring Virginia wineries!

We used the Orange Metro line from downtown to get the Kiss and Ride pick up point. It was very easy. If you do not usually ride the Metro, you can pick up a metro card at a metro machine and scan it when riding. The tour instructions stated they pick you up at metro exit point. We found the van at the end of the parking lot. We went four wineries: October1, Casnel, Fleetwood Farms, and Firefly. At the third stop, Fleetwood, food was available for purchase (not included). I purchased chicken nachos for $25. My traveling companion bought a pepperoni flatbread. Everybody seemed to buy something. Dan had a traveling case for you to store any wine purchased during the drive. Dan did an excellent job entertaining everybody. Most wineries gave four pours. Cassel had six. I would recommend this tour.

The four of us had a fabulous and relaxing time with Hayley as our tour guide! She shared information with us about the Loudoun County wine country and was attentive to our needs if they came up - from kindly taking photos of us and ensuring our tastings and food were being served in a timely fashion. This is my second tour with Hayley who is an outstanding guide. I highly recommend this tour company.

My partner and I took a fabulous wine tour with Vineyard Voyages in May. Dan, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and friendly without being intrusive. He was accessible for conversation and questions, and also somehow gave each of the small groups or couples on the tour enough space to also experience the wine and the vineyards for ourselves. Each winery was unique, venue, experience, wines, ambiance. There were opportunities for us to connect with other participants, as well as to be within our own small groups. Even the time on the bus was enjoyable, with games and trivia about the area and the wine industry here in Virginia. I highly recommend Vineyard Voyages if you want to experience the wine region. Everything about the tour experience was top notch.

Our group of 19 all enjoyed the 3 winery tour! Haley was a great guide and took care of us all day. The trivia was super fun and she was very knowledgeable. Haley and the driver were super friendly and professional. Haley kept us on schedule and while at the wineries we had a blast. My aunt coordinated the event and said the group was super easy to work with to plan the day. Good value and comfortable transportation.

Great experience had by the 26 people in my group. Planned a work trip and it was seemless. Christian answered all my questions in a timely fashion and was extra attentive to detail to make sure everything was taken care as changes popped up. Dan was our guide. Perfect getaway from the big city of DC. Easy transfer via SUV, other guests were fun and lively. Our guide Christian was energetic, knowledgeable and friendly. Wineries were homey, and wines were made with love . Staff was knowledgeable and inviting at all 3 wineries . Additional wine was purchased to enjoy at a later time. Would definitely recommend.
