Wonderful tour! Jesse was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the Assassination of Lincoln that we didn’t know before. Would highly recommend! This tour was my sister’s favorite of all the tours we did in DC. I just want to mention that there is a bit of walking on this tour so if you have someone that has trouble walking a long way it might not be for them.

Thought this was just Ford’s Theater & Peterson House. Wondered why we would meet up a few blocks away. Jesse was fantastic. He laid out the political climate, and what was going on with our country, causing the War. So he lead us to a handful of stops, along the way to the Theater, and taught us the events that happened there. Jesse had answers to all our questions, even providing suggestions if we wanted to learn more. This was so much more than just a “tour”. If this part of U.S. history interests you, this is the place to learn or review it. I can’t recommend it enough!!
Was confused about meeting place. Didn’t realize tour is much more than just Ford’s theater & Peterson House. Tour was 2.5 hrs. Guide Jesse, taught complete background & lead up to assassination, including aftermath. Very thorough, and informative. Tour is worth much more than the time & cost. 5 Stars +

Ford Theater is a working theater and subject to being closed on your scheduled tour day. Be sure to check their website yourself to make sure you can actually go into the theater. Derek was a great, energetic, knowledgeable guide.

The tour guide, Jesse, was excellent. He knows the history and explained well the background of Lincoln assasination. The tour includes everything as described. The tour guide arrives some 6 to 10 minutes late, however, he gaves a good and complete tour.
