Amazing Tour. Jimmy was knowledgeable and funny!

Jimmy was the man he was amazing. The ghost stories were very engaging and entertaining. They spooked my 9 year old son.

The tour was excellent. The tour guide used primary sources such as diary entries and newspaper articles to support his stories. He even showed us pictures of the headlines. Her was very personable and funny. We really enjoyed everything about the experience.Fun Fright

We went on this tour for Halloweekend and it was excellent. Our guide, Jimmy, was so entertaining and kept our group engaged the whole time. The tour size was perfect and I would definitely recommend!

Jimmy was an amazing tour guide for our ghost tour in Georgetown. He was extremely knowledgeable and funny, which made the tour ever more enjoyable. We had a beautiful fall night for our tour and a great group of people. The tour lasts about an hour and a half but I was having such a great time it really just flew by! I would highly recommend this ghost tour, we got some great photos and got to learn some history about Georgetown we had never heard before. Very cool and perfect for spooky season!

The tour was great. Our guide Kevin was engaging and funny and filled every stop along the way with great historical facts as well of lots of good spooky stories. It was really fun and I would definitely recommend it.

Cute tour even if some jokes were corny. It moved at a good pace. If the Old Stone House had a backyard, it would have been ideal to stand there for the description.

Overall, I really enjoyed the tour. Georgetown is a beautiful area to walk around and is full of spooky stories. I’ve been on many ghost tours and Jimmy is one of the better guides I’ve had. He’s a great storyteller and he’s funny, which is a good combo. The tour includes good locations and stories. I only wish we had time for more! The downside to the tour, which resulted in losing a star, is that we had a few children in the group (including a two year old). The toddler was running around and at times screaming. This was distracting and took away from the experience. I wish the company would reconsider letting very small children attend as it really wasn’t fair to the other guests.

Kevin, our guide, was knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining. We learned so much about Georgetown’s history and its ghostly residents. Kevin even shared a personal paranormal experience that gave us goosebumps. We highly recommend this amazing tour!

John was phenomenal. We left both terrified and informed of the rich history of Georgetown. Watching him guide us through the cobble stone streets in costume with his lantern was magical. Recommend to anyone looking for a fun autumnal activity.

Informative, well-paced, and engaging

The Georgetown tour with Kevin was phenomenal. From the very beginning he was personable, knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. He struck a great balance between telling some history of Georgetown and excellent ghost stories. The Dead Man’s Beat was my favorite, but also enjoyed the story about the Washington Post reporter and the girls boarding school turned in to Civil War Hospital.

A great tour! Jimmy is an incredible storyteller and the group is a great size for being able to hear all the stories and ask questions. The scenery is wonderful and atmospheric along the walk, and all of the promised ghosts and ghouls were covered in 1.5 hours! I’ve been to one of the sister ghost tours in Alexandria, and Alexandria Colonial Tours are always great!

Do you like well informed tour guides, dismemberment and truly strange historical facts? Well this is your tour. Super fun tour of Georgetown with some decent walking involved, so bring your comfortable shoes. Jimmy is funny and approachable. Can’t recommend enough.

Outstanding tour. Our guide is clearly a history expert and researched all the stories and locations we visited during our 90 minute trek. He delivered so many historical nuggets throughout this fun-filled tour of historic Georgetown. Highly recommend!

Wonderful spooky evening! Jimmy took us all over and scared the heck out of us. His stories had my teen freaking out, and our friend was loving the vibes, especially the vampire story. I loved the ghost cop story best. It gave me the shivers. Jimmy paced everything just right, a joke at the perfect moment to let a little tension off, stopped right in front of the coolest most atmospheric spots, tucked us into hidden courtyards right off the busy streets. The Exorcist steps were awesome. Always had wanted to visit them. Great way to see Georgetown.
