Tour guide was excellent. Roof of van leaked in the rain and dripped all over us, so we were wet and cold for the entire tour. Miserable and totally unacceptable!!
It was great the guide was knowledgable about the history of DC, the monuments etc. I would definitely recommend this tour. I can’t remember his name but his last name is Grant if that helps
Our guide was very knowledgeable! Thoroughly enjoyed our tour seeing some of DC’s most popular spots.
See the major attraction in DC in 2 1/2 hours. Makes stops (15 minutes) at major attractions for pictures. Good for families.
We were unfortunate to book this on a rainy day. Our driver wasn't trained how to put the covering over the open-air vehicle, and they didn't provide rain ponchos or the like, so we all got soaked. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the sites, but only the people in front could hear him after the speakers got drenched in the rain. If this had been a sunny day, it would be a 5/5 experience.
Our guide Q, was very nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour. We didn’t have that much walking.
I was traveling with my parents. The tour guide was very patient with them getting on and off the bus. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable
Great way to see the area. Tour guide, Lorenzo, was friendly and knowledgeable.
Great experience. Lots of stops and left us time to take photos and look around. Hit all the spots on the agenda. Recommend!
If you’re even 10 minutes late you’ll be out the entire amount you paid. Even if they’re having technical difficulties with the carts and running late themselves. I arrived late the carts were still there but since I warned them 3 hours prior that I may be late they resold my seats. They told me to come back at a later time and I would be able to catch the next tour. But that too was booked. So now I’m out $414, and had to uber my way around DC so it wasn’t a wasted trip. I live 2 hours from DC and got stuck in traffic. Don’t put your money into this company. I paid for a service that I didn’t recieve and they got double the money and couldn’t even refund me half. 10/10 don’t recommend, even his guides told me this happens often.
This was a great tour that lets you get off at many of the major monuments - it saves a lot of walking and you learn some interesting facts.
Excellent way to see a lot in a short amount of time. The guide is so passionate about the history of DC and it was infectious! We learned so much and enjoyed every minute.
Lorenzo was great; even though it was cold and rainy he had a great attitude and was very informative!
Tour guide and the driver were both very knowledgeable and friendly! I would recommend this tour to everyone. A+
What a great activity to see all of the sites in DC. I came to DC for years and saw more on this trip than all the “self” guided tours before. Our tour guide was very informative and nice. Great time!
I planned a trip for myself and my partner, who had never been to Washington before. It was also my first time visiting Washington for leisure, so we thought a city tour would be the perfect way to explore and see the historic sites. When we arrived at the Amtrak station, we realized we wouldn’t make our originally scheduled 3:00 PM tour. I contacted the company, and they quickly agreed to move us to the 5:30 PM tour without any issue, which we appreciated. We arrived at the hotel pickup location and waited for the shuttle. When it arrived, there were already two other groups on board. The tour cart had four seats facing forward and one row facing backward. Unfortunately, we were seated in the back row, which meant we were facing oncoming traffic instead of the landmarks the tour was approaching. As a result, we ended up viewing much of the city backwards. Additionally, the roof of the cart was quite low, which limited our ability to see the buildings and attractions around us. On top of that, the seat belts were damaged—some were cut, tied, or too small—which raised serious safety concerns, especially for those seated in the back row. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience and would not recommend this tour. By the end, I felt like I hadn’t truly seen the city at all.
This tour was nothing short of amazing and interactive. Our tour guide Tommy was the absolute best! I’d recommend this tour a million times
Wasn't sure about a tour, but this was GREAT!! Tommy the guide was funny, extremely knowledgeable and an excellent driver to all the sites. I'd definitely do this again.
Great Quick Overview of the Major Monuments We booked a monument e-cart tour as a way to quickly see the highlights of Washington, DC, and overall it was a great way to get the lay of the land in a short amount of time. The tour covered many of the major sites, including the Capitol, Washington Monument, W Tidal Basin + Lincoln Memorial and a few other well-known monuments, and it was nice not having to walk long distances between locations. The pace is definitely fast, it’s about two hours and moves quickly from site to site. If you’re someone who wants a relaxed experience with lots of time to explore each monument, this may feel rushed. For example, the tour did not include a stop at the Jefferson Memorial, and there was no time at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which would have been nice to experience more fully. That said, if you’re short on time or want a quick overview to understand the layout of the monuments before exploring more on your own, this tour works really well. It’s especially helpful for getting oriented and deciding which places you might want to come back to later. Overall, a solid option for a fast-paced introduction to the monuments.
A good intro to DC monuments. The open e-cart makes it easy to see the sites. I recommend doing it at the start of your trip.
Lorenzo was an amazing tour guide. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable and encouraged questions throughout the tour. We got to see all the major monuments. It felt like every building we past, he had some interesting/unique fact about the site. It’s obvious he loves his job and loves DC. After a long day of walking, this was the perfect way to see everything that I didn’t get to. In traffic we had trivia and he was happy to take photos for us at the monuments. Absolute pleasure and well worth the money. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to see a lot and only a day in DC.
We had a great experience . Kevin was the best . I highly recommended him. See you next time . Great
The whole family absolutely enjoyed the tour. it was well-organized, and fun for all ages. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience!
Pickup location was a bit hard to find, experience was very good. Josh was an excellent guide and very informative with a great personality.
Lorenzo was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about all things DC! Great tour and would recommend!
It is a fun look at the top monuments in DC, with a guide. Ours was very knowledgeable and personable, and we had a great time.
Was a great opportunity to explore the Capitol and Mall with a tour guide to explain where everything is.
Lorenzo provided an exceptional tour; he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly respectful. Before heading to the tour, he took the time to introduce himself and personally greet everyone in our group. Throughout the tour, he offered a deep insight and ensuring the experience remained interactive by answering all our questions and addressing our specific interests. I highly recommend his services.
Reasonably priced, a great way to see the major monuments and get an overview of the city on our first day here
Great experience. A way to see the sites without walking and/or driving! Kevin was a great host. Very knowledgeable and his voice was very clear and understandable. He was very accommodating and just seemed to know how and when to continue.
Lorenzo was top notch and absolutely knowledgeable! We had my parents who couldn’t walk very quickly and he took his time and always waited for them! Well worth the money!
Great condensed tour of most notable DC monuments, museums, & notable buildings. Experienced guide with historical & architectural knowledge.
This is a great way to see the main landmarks all at once! I would recommend doing this first then deciding what museums, etc you want to visit individually on your own. Lorenzo was absolutely amazing and was very knowledgeable! He made the tour engaging and fun!
The seating was tight and they overloaded the cart. Three of us adults were at the back and facing backward and couldn't hear what was shared. The cart isn't what is shown online. The student leading the tour was very kind and polite and did his best with what they provided him with.
I enjoyed seeing the history and hearing about historical details. The drivers were fun and friendly.
Very informative. Great being in a vehicle, covered a lot of territory without the steps. We stopped at key locations for photos if desired.
It was a great tour with great little tidbits of information. Lorenzo gave us the inside scoop on many of the museums to visit. My only suggestion would be to provide a stool to help older people and disabled to be able to step up into the E-carts.
It was fun, comfortable and informative! Riding around the city was enjoyable. The experience with friends unforgettable!
Beautiful experience! Saw all the monuments I wanted to see. We stopped at 2 locations to take pictures, and Lorenzo, the guide offered to take our photos.
It was a very crowded day at the Tidal Basin in DC. The e-cart was convenient way to view the cherry blossoms. The driver drove competitively in the traffic. We only had two seat belts in the back for three people.
Lorenzo was a fabulous guide and so much fun!! We learned a lot of things about DC that we did not know. Lorenzo was very knowledgeable about history and some fun facts about different presidents. Thank you so much Lorenzo! I highly recommend this tour…being in a small group definitely made it more personal!!
We booked trip / experience (specifically to see Cherry Blossoms) a few weeks in advance for out of town family that that came from Ohio. Tour proceeded to monumentals but was not able to take us to Todal Basin to view Cherry Blossoms due to traffic / road closures for No Kings Rally. No mention of that from tour guide until half way through the tour. The Tidal Basin to see the Cherry Blossoms was the main title of the tour and it didn't happen. Again, wasn't communicated to the group until we were well into the tour. Knowing that part of the tour wasn't going to happen that day I believe we should have been told up front and been refunded the amount paid for tour.
Dress accordingly. It was a slightly cooler morning than we had planned for, so we got a little chilly at times. The vehicle is open air (no doors or windows).
It’s a great way to see all of the exhibits. Covers all the key spots so conveniently. The 15 minute breaks at each stop was perfect. Great day in DC!
Wonderful exposure to main attractions in Washington, DC. Very knowledgeable and helpful guide and e-trolley driver.
Josh was an excellent guide—he did a fantastic job explaining the history of DC. He also shared great personal restaurant recommendations, which were especially helpful for visitors from out of town. This tour is a perfect way to see all the major sights if you’re short on time.
This was an outstanding tour!! Our guide, Lorenzo was extremely knowledgeable and we learned many details from him! He was also nice enough to take pictures of our group at many stops. We had already done a night tour of the monuments, but seeing them during the day is a completely different experience. Although it was a little chilly, riding around DC in the E-Cart was lots of fun and we all really enjoyed it! Thanks for a great experience!!
Lorenzo our tour guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, informative, and very respectful of passenger needs throughout trip. He made the trip very entertaining as well as educational.
Fantastic and very knowledgeable! Had a great time and had enough time at each stop to truly enjoy it.
