What a great way to see Georgetown and treat yourself at the same time. Robert was a fantastic guide who knows so much of the history of the area. He told us great stories about Georgetown while steering us into places for scrumptious treats. Highly recommend this tour!
Robert was a great guide! We had so much fun walking the charming streets of Georgetown and hearing stories of our nation’s history! The food was amazing! We especially enjoyed grilled cheese at Say Cheese and almond crossiants at Boulangerie Christophe. Highly recommend!
Robert is an excellent tour guide. He shared a lot of history and stories.
So much fun! Great guide! Interesting info and amazing food. We discovered a couple of places we will return to- especially the tacos!
We really enjoyed our tour and the food was amazing!
Our guide Robert was fantastic. Super friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable!
Tour was great...it was a lot of food all together so go hungry!
Great experience!! Wonderful food! Excellent guide-Robert was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable! Even on a very hot day, it was such a positive experience!
good length of time and great info/food along the way!
Robert was a congenial and very knowledgeable guide. The food stops were most enjoyable and the historic repartee throughout the tour was enlightening especially for history buffs. I especially appreciated his compassion for my disabled husband who was a bit slow. Each dining stop offered a delightful and delicious bite of Georgetown. Highly recommend!
Robert was our guide and was excellent! Super knowledgeable of the area and you can tell he definitely enjoys doing this tour. He provided lots of interesting history of the area, in addition to the great food. All of the places we went to get food were excellent and you can tell he’s built up a good relationship with the businesses as he has given these tours. Say Cheese was my personal favorite restaurant stop on the trip but all of the food we had was excellent. Be sure to come hungry as you will leave super full and satisfied.
Robert did an amazing job with this food tour. We learned about Georgetown history and sampled delicious local cuisine. Robert was friendly and kept my daughter engaged throughout the tour. Would definitely recommend Robert and Vistor.
Robert was a great guide who knows the city very well and took us to some great places. The tour was a great way to learn more about the Georgetown Community and enjoy great food at some amazing local establishments.
This am we met Robert and had an amazing tour! We learned interesting tidbits about Georgetown and its past residents while tasting DELICIOUS food!! Every stop, the food was so good! The Turkish coffee, the almond croissant , the chocolates plus meeting the owners/ confectioners and the tacos , I can’t pick a favorite! Our schedule was a little tight and we couldn’t go to the last spot but I’m sure it would have been yummy too! Anyone visiting for the first or twentieth time will find this tour memorable! Thanks Robert!
Great guide, very knowledgeable. Learned a lot about the city. All food stops were delicious. Had a great group in the tour.
Our guide Robert was outstanding in his knowledge and expertise. He had great historical knowledge and fun stories about the area. The food locations were all excellent especially Arcay Chocolates. I would recommend this tour if you’re a foodie or history buff.
Robert was amazing and was so knowledgeable about the area! Not only the food was amazing I learned so much! Each stop was very unique and local!
We had a wonderful tour with our guide Robert today. We visited 5 different establishments and tried a variety of delicious, tasty foods. Robert shared so much history and fun facts along the way. This was truly a memorable experience. Helpful hint- try not to eat before the tour. The foods are very filling!
Fun morning walking tour. Robert was very knowledgeable and attentive. History and food stops along the tour were great!
I’m glad we did this otherwise I never would have seen Georgetown. The only downside (and obviously wouldn’t be the same for everyone) was that it was too much food. Appreciate a full portion size but 4 full size things were a lot personally. Our guide was engaging and also noticed when people were having trouble keeping up and slowed his pace a bit which was considerate.
We had a fabulous time walking the streets of Georgetown learning about the history of the area while tasting delicious treats.
Our tour guide Wayne was great, very knowledgeable about the area's history and food. You will definately leave feeling full, lots of food and a great variety.
We loved the pastries, coffee, and the stories! This is a great way to be introduced to Georgetown's hidden gems!
Wayne was fantastic! The food was amazing and his stories and history of Georgetown was amazing. 10 out of 10 stars!
I was looking for a food tour that our entire family could enjoy. This was a winner! Robert, our guide, was super entertaining and friendly. The food was fantastic, and by the end we were stuffed. Come hungry!
For some reason there were a lot of ghost stories on this breakfast walking tour. All of the food and drink offerings were very good!
Robert was a great tour guide. We were fortunate (for us not the others) to have his other confirmed guests cancel so it was essentially a private tour for me and my wife. It was more like visiting a close friend than meeting a stranger. You can tell that Robert loves his craft and the city of Georgetown. As we passed by historic homes and were sent back in time by Robert’s great storytelling skills, many of his friends passed by and said hello. He was well acquainted with the restaurants and shops on the tour and made us feel like locals. You’re missing out if you don’t book this tour!
First, let me start by saying that, Robert, our tour guide was amazing!!! The stories and history he shared about Georgetown and the surrounding areas made the tour worthwhile, and thats before we made any stops for food. Then, every stop we made was so special and unique. We started with an amazing Turkish coffee and special treats at it only got better from there. I won't spoil all the surprises, but you'd better co e hungry. Lots of treats, most full size portions... this tour is well worth the money and we will probably do it again at some point with family and or friends... enjoy!!! And thank you, Robert!!!!
Fun, flexible, and knowledgeable tour guide; great little spots (5) for food — we had a terrific time
Robert was amazing. Food delightful. Want to do again. Everyone needs to go. Love love love. Amazing variety
What a wonderful tour. Robert, our guide, was charming, knowledgeable and fun. We stopped at 5 different stores ranging from Turkish coffee and breakfast snack to hand made chocolates to tacos to cupcakes. Couple that with a guide who gave us a history of Georgetown and I can’t think of much better ways to spend a morning in Georgetown. An A+ double thumbs up recommendation!
Great food and great history with very kind, knowledgeable guides! I would definitely do this tour again!
A great morning out in Georgetown. The tour has 5 stops, involving coffee, pastries, croissants, food, and chocolates. But the real treat was our guide, Robert, who was a wealth of knowledge and historical knowledge about the area. You will get a lot of stories (ghost, political, historical, trivial) of the houses, their owners, and the history of the city itself. More than once, he appeared to step off the "standard" tour, to tell a little story about a place here or there. It was an adventure well worth taking.
Robert was a great tour guide. He shared great local historical tidbits, was enthusiastic, friendly, and kind. Great way to enjoy Georgetown.
Robert was a great guide. He brought us to unique places that we would certainly go back to. He also made accommodations for a gluten allergy. You certainly don’t leave this tour hungry! Highly recommend this tour.
Our cobblestones and croissants tour was absolutely amazing! Every stop was picked well food and drinks were delicious! Robert was our guide and he had so much history knowledge and even had some ghost stories on deck when we told him we like ghost tours! Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend doing this tour!
Originally our tour was scheduled for Saturday morning but due to a family emergency our tour guide had to cancel. Thankfully, Robert went out of his way & offered to host us on Friday morning. The tour was absolutely amazing! All of the food, the drinks, the stories, the history, everything was incredible! Robert was very friendly, & extremely informative about the history of Georgrtown. Overall, I cannot recoommend this trip enough to people. Worth every penny! 10/10 would do again!
Robert was an amazing tour guide. He was very professional, friendly, and kind. His knowledge about the Georgetown area and who lived where, and who did that and this is top-notch. The tour was walking throughout Georgetown and gave us an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the neighborhoods. We stopped at various places to nibble and snack as we made our way through this beautiful historic town. The food options were delicious and Robert was a super host! We started with a Turkish bagel and coffee, a stroll through history and scandal, then stopped for some amazing hot chocolate and truffles, followed by more history and sight seeing before heading to enjoy a butter croissant. Afterward, we headed to the canal area and had vegetarian tacos, which were yummy! Our tour ended with a yummy cupcake! This tour is definitely worth it; come hungry and in your walking shoes. Enjoy!
Robert is very knowledgeable about Georgetown history and local eateries. Stops are local owned companies and food was great. Come hungry you will not be disappointed!
Robert was amazing with his knowledge of Georgetown and the food locations were awesome and a real nice variety. Well with the money and time.
Robert was friendly and knowledgeable. It was difficult to decide which stop was our favorite because they were all delicious.
A lot of fun. Good food, good history.Robert was a fantastic tour guide. Don’t skip the Turkish coffee. It was the highlight of the tour for me.
I planned a staycation weekend with my sister for her birthday and included this as a part of our weekend. I am so thankful I did, even in the cold weather. This was such a great tour and Robert was a fantastic guide. He spent a great deal of time with us, despite a few last-minute cancellations. I highly recommend this for both locals and visitors. We learned a lot and the food was fantastic!
Having participated in many food tours. This was one of the better ones. Just the right combination of stops and touring. Would have liked to have had the opportunity to walk up to Georgetown University, however we understand that timing of the restaurants cannot be changed. The guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. There were 5 stops for food/drink and he covered the main historic homes/places in Georgetown.
Wayne was amazing. Best food tour i have been on. The history added in was amazing. Well worth the money. I cant wait to do it again. Was not rushed an enjoyable relaxed tour bring your appetite!
The best food tour I've ever been on. Wayne was amazing told the best history detailed stories along the way to the tastings. The food was delicious. 10 out of 10 would recommend i would do it next time I visit George Town. It's a must do if you're visiting!!
Thanks to our excellent guide, Robert, we spent a delightful few hours exploring and hearing fascinating stories of historic Georgetown architecture. As a compliment, we were treated to truly delicious pastry and beverages. A wonderful way to spend time with friends. Highly recommended.
Knowledgeable and personable, generous with his insights. The food was delicious and a good variety. Learned quite a bit about the area. Highly recommend!!
This tour is great for vegetarians as I found most of the other DC food tours included meat based stops. It was really lovely to start in Georgetown at a quiet time (Sunday morning). Robert was an experienced and considerate tour guide with some great stories. He gave us lots of choices with the food since we were a small group and even recommended a fab rooftop bar for me to spend the rest of the afternoon in, which worked perfectly! Thank you, Robert.
