Vicky was very knowledgeable. Did a great job of including everyone. Tour was very informative. Vicky was a great tour guide and very accommodating. Highly recommend. Anna Jane was also a wonderful tour guide for the Capitol docent tour.
Outstanding tour. Becca was a brilliant tour guide with incredible knowledge. She brought the Capital to life with her descriptions of events and surroundings. We would absolutely recommend this tour and are thankful we had Becca as our super knowledgeable and super friendly guide.
I was upset that when I showed Katherine my senate passes to ask her what we should do she never returned them to me or my husband
The tour was flawless and its a small group.. everything was run smoothly and on time. Vicky our guide was awesome ! Highly recommend.
Trevor was amazing and one of the best guides I have had on any experience. He was witty, charming, and full of knowledge. Our group learned so much about the history of DC and the places we visited. Top notch
Washington is for walkers and is not WC friendly. Parking in close...? better get in there about 6am. Pick up point was hard to find even with phone map. We ended up not completing, too much walking,
Very interesting. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. The Gutinberg bible was really cool. Good tour
Exceptional tour guide Trevor… really awesome. Capitol Hill and Library Congress and The Supreme Court… historical not political DC tour. A plethora of educational information. I highly recommend this tour. 10 out of 10. You won’t regret.
Vicky was fantastic and added so much to the experience! We would have been missing out on so much without a guide.
Well paced. Kevin is the best…we learned so much in a relatively short amount of time. He knew precisely how to navigate the crowds, too.
Excellent tour guide. Speaks clearly and loud without shouting. Thorough. Took us through each area with care. Lots of time to explore.
Tony, our Guide knew all the ins and outs and was very knowledgeable.
Trevor was a great tour guide. He provided a lot of information about the Capitol, the Supreme Court building, and the Library of Congress. He also helped us significantly navigate the entry lines to both buildings. The lunch recommendation post-tour was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Vicky was the tour guide. She’s very knowledgeable. Thank you for picking up souvenirs for the country’s 250th anniversary in the Capitol building. It’s very thoughtful!
Trevor was the perfect tour guide. He has a terrific sense of humor. Trevor gave us an expansive history lesson in such a fun way. We learned about the Capitol building and workings of congress. There was a brief talk in front of the Supreme Court building. We got to see the inside of the library of congress- got a feel for it but this is not meant to be an exhaustive tour of the library. We ended at the Capitol. Trevor gave us a nice introduction and then handed us off to a terrific Capitol tour guide, Rochelle. It was perfect- not too much for those who don’t want to get bogged down with too many facts. Trevor recommended more things we could see on our own. It was a great afternoon!
Although our Capitol Hill tour was shortened by King Charles III visit ( we missed the Statuary Room) Trevor adapted the tour seamlessly by enhancing our tour of the Visitor Center and Library of Congress. He is a wealth of knowledge. We got to see the Guttenberg Bible and an original map of the world, the first one including the Americas. Truly fascinating and worth the trip. If your main goal is to see more of the Capitol, then check the news before you book, but we were not disappointed and would recommend DC on Foot
Excellent!! Tour Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Highlight was the Library of Congress and walking through the tunnels.
We very much enjoyed our tour with Vicky, super informative and fun, would highly recommend!
Vicky was a fabulous tour guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable and was very efficient in getting us around! Will definitely recommend the tour and Vicky specifically!
Great experience! Trevor made it easy on a very hot day. The tour was informative, interesting and fun. The library of congress was stunning, the Gutenberg bible and the Two Georges exhibition were the highlights of our visit! Thank you, You’ve made this trip a memorable experience!
Becca was a great tour guide! Be prepared to wait on security lines as there is no avoiding those at all. Tour included access to Library of Congress and US Capitol Building. Would highly recommend
Lots of information. Katherine was a great guide! Would recommend the Capitol and Library of Congress tour. So much good information!
Excellent, very informed, fun historian guide who offered the tour and little known facts about it. Very well organized.
Olga was amazing. So much knowledge. Loved what we saw. Well worth it to do the tour. Highly recommend
Our guide was Ingeborg and she was fabulous. Having toured both previously she imparted so much new fun facts are our walking tour. Loved learning all about PierreL’Enfant and Benjamin Banneker. Really can’t recommend enough. Ingeborg also provided guidance on the interior of the library of congress which equaled the tour with a docent I had last year. Really fabulous tour. Will look for another on my next trip.
Due to various reasons you may not be able to see all areas of the Capitol Hill building. We were lucky enough to see the Senate in session. Interesting process to see live.
Colin did a tremendous job sharing his knowledge of the Capitol and Library of Congress with us. It was a very enjoyable tour and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting DC for the first time.
Due to some unexpected weather and museum closures our planned itinerary became askew. Trying to find a last minute alternative was proving difficult because everything seemed to be booked up, so I purchased this tour last minute. So glad we did! Trying to see the Library of Congress, including the reading room plus the Capital would take a lot more time if I was trying to do it on my own. Our guide, Vicky knew exactly how to maximize our time to see the most things. Even as we stood inline she was pointing out points of interest. Could I have done this on my own- no because all the free tickets had been allocated, but even if I had been able to secure tickets, it would’ve taken us twice as long because I wouldn’t have known when to stand in line and what to do once I got inside. So thankful for Vicky’s guidance.
Loved our guide Katherine. Knowledgeable and great sense of humor. Spouse uses cane and she was very accommodating and never made us feel we were a hindrance.
The was excellent explaining the tour!! The cost was reasonable for the quality of the tour!! Would recommend!
This was one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. Catherine was so knowledgeable and engaging and fun. The combination of the Capital Tour and the Library of Congress, which just amazing.. Don’t miss it.
Becca the guide was excellent! Beautiful tours of the Supreme Court, Library of Congress and Capitol.
Trevor was a great guide! Thanks a lot to him for organising an incredible tour in Washington. Definitely recommend him!
Great tour guide who was really knowledgeable. Tour was well managed and I would definitely recommend it
Wonderful guide!!! Very knowledgeable!! This is my 2nd time this year taking the tour with the same fabulous lady.
Took the three hour Capitol Hill tour with Ingeborg. Really enjoyed this tour and got a lot out of it. Ingeborg was very engaging, really knew her stuff, and I think we all learned some interesting background on the Library of Congress, Supreme Court, and US Capitol. Would definitely recommend this tour. Just the right length of time to see the sites and learn about them, but not get exhausted doing it.
First of all, our guide Ingeborg did a very good job. She was very knowledgeable, approachable and good to talk to. However, due to the government shutdown the tour was just outside in front of the three buildings that we really would have liked to see from the inside. Even though we had known about the shutdown, we still were very disappointed. Maybe the company should have canceled the tour.
We met some terrific people on the tour from Australia, Florida and the UK. However THE star of the show was Daniel our guide. We learned a great deal on the history of Washington and the USA. A must do tour!
Excellent tour. As a hearing impaired person, I was happy to understand everything our guide Becca told us. Tip: you may carry water for the first half of tour.
Guide is extremely knowledgeable, fun, lighthearted…made the tour VERY ENJOYABLE! Highly recommend!!
A lot of historical information, and getting to see government buildings and tour the Library of Congress was really great. Our tour guide Becca was fantastic!
We had a great tour guide, she was a historian and knew a lot about the whole tour!! Was a great day!!!
We got to visit all of Capital Hill. Our tour guide was full of knowledge! Great tour! Leave time afterwards to visit the free areas. Lots to see in DC
Trevor was nothing less than awesome! His knowledge and delivery were spot on, and his love for the subject matter was contagious! He was also extremely patient with my unexpected tardiness, and went above and beyond to get me up to speed with the facts. And he had answers to my many questions, as well! Thank you so much!
Fantastic tour highly recommended guide was extremely knowledgeable and good value. I learnt so much and found it so much more interesting than trying to do one.
I enjoyed this tour. Brooke did an excellent job and she was very knowledgeable about the Capital and all the sights we visited. She also made sure we were on time to continue our tour inside the Capital with the next tour guide. Five stars for Brooke!
Becca was great. She took us everywhere and explained everything. Lots of great picture opportunities.
Traveling with two kids (ages 12 & 15) who’ve never been to DC, we wanted a tour that not only hit the highlights of Capitol Hill, but also helped bring the history of the building to life. We got that and so much more! Katherine made the experience exceptional. She brought such enthusiasm, passion and humor to the tour that we could have spent many more hours walking around and listening to her tell her stories. Between seeing the Supreme Court, visiting the Library of Congress and being walked to the start of the Capitol building tour, we highly recommend this tour. And if you have Katherine as your guide… you have won the grand prize!
Great informative tour with some walking but lots of history…enjoyed the architectural details and anecdotes
