3-4 Hour Private Dc Highlight Tour By Van

This was an excellent tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and catered the tour to our interests. This is the best way to see the city in one day. Our guide knew the exact route to take and where to park. The tour lasted right around 3 hours and 45 minutes. It was not rushed at all.

Tunde was great. Van was very comfortable. Totally flexible on where we went and in what order. Great with our grandkids. My wife left her cane in the van and Tunde brought it back to our hotel on his own time that evening.

Created a great custom tour, adapted as the day went on to avoid the crowds. Very knowledgeable and engaging.

We were lucky to book the tour in the less then 24 h before the event. It was nice to drive around in the luxury van. However it was not much of the tour. It was pointing to the buildings with 2-3 sentences or less for the description. No historical references. No interesting fact to tell. No story of any kind. Also, assumption of the driver that everybody in the group share his political views was unprofessional at best. I had no interest to know what he think about former president!!

Great way to see the monuments! We would never have covered this much in a morning by ourselves. The tour guide was interesting, knowledgeable and friendly.

Great experience with a knowledgeable and personable driver. He took us where we asked him to go and was patient when we chose to spend more ( or less) time at certain places.

Our driver was the best his name is Bernard he was very passionate about the DC area and new lots of cool things highly recommend him

Transport was clean and well presented. Our driver was pleasant and punctual, provided water, yet at times was difficult to understand. I would not recommend this as a private tour of city highlights as advertised if you are expecting an informed tour guide to support your highlights stopover at each of the major sites.. It is more of a convenient yet very expensive transportation from one site to another. Minimal knowledge was shared that one would not know already as a visiting tourist and most can be walked and linked. Uber/taxi/e scooter/bike and a well planned route of city’s highlights could be done at a fraction of the cost.

Terrible. They tried to only give us 3 hours….had to call the manager to let us have entire 4 hours. Half the monuments he would not bring us to. Knowledgeable driver, but not the most polite…..

We were dropped off at Arlington and the guide/van left us there. When we called to be picked up, we were waiting for more than an hour and ended up taking the train back to the city.

Tunde was an excellent guide who made the trip most informative and enjoyable for our five grandchildren and the adults as well. A warm and welcoming presence and a great sense of humor - and the Mercedes Sprinter was clean and comfortable. He helped us make the most of our DC tour.

Victor was absolutely great. We had two couple with 2 babies under 2 years old. He was very patient and we had plenty of room in the van. Definitely recommend!!!

We were led to believe admittance to the White House for 20 minutes was included as listed on the itinerary Starting point so are disappointed and this was the reason we chose this particular tour (albeit we thought it was unusual) but definitely misleading phrasing on behalf of the tour company

Tundey was an amazing driver and tour guide! We were very comfortable and had plenty of room in the vehicle. He was accommodating and extremely knowledgeable! I would recommend this private tour to anyone. What a way to see Washington D.C.!

Fifty Year Anniversary Celebration was a success! My husband and I wanted to celebrate fifty years of marriage with a trip to DC. It was a most enjoyable experience. One of highlights of our trip was the four hour private tour. Our tour guide was super! He treated us like royalty. Both my husband and I have slight mobility issues, and our guide was patient and kind. We crammed as much into our time as we possibly could and had a grand time doing it. Thank you for making this milestone in our lives a true celebration.

Bernard was very accommodating and friendly. We covered quite a lot of ground during the time, and he hit all the top items we wanted to see, even with a few extra bonuses thrown in. I highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to see all the highlights without having to do your own walking/driving and exploring.

We had a great time exploring the DC monuments with Tunde. He was able to park right next to each spot so it was easy to get in and out. He was friendly and fun with our kids. He dropped us off at the end at a nice spot to eat near our hotel. I would recommend him.

This tour was fantastic. Our guide Nicole was a knowledgeable and engaging narrator. She knows her history and her city. It was a miserably hot and humid day, but she kept us in air conditioned comfort. Loved it!

Our tour driver, Nicole, our African American guide, Howard graduate, former educator, was excellent, informative, knowledgeable and took extraordinary time at each monument- Capitol, White House, Jefferson, Lincoln, Supreme Court, Washington, Signers of Declaration of Independence, William Slave Pen, -we travelled all way from San Leandro CA celebrating twin grandsons 20 th birthday me and their 15 year old brother), and the tour made our DC experience perfect!!! Driver (Alberto) was on time to pick us up at the hotel and he hit the key visit points in DC provided us interesting information on the way. He also provided us background info on sites we passed but did not stop to visit on this trip. Great family time with grandparents and grandkids. He kept us all interested along the way. Highly recommend this trip and we would do it again.

I would not recommend this tour. Our guide dropped us off after three hours, telling us it was a three hour tour, when it is clearly noted a four hour tour. The tour guide had no detail or info on any of the sites, just pointed through the window of various buildings. Such a waste of time and money.

The tour was booked for 4 hours but the company only gave us 3 hours. It was very misleading and in fine print it read “3 to 4 hours. “

We paid for a family of 5 and mentioned that our daughter had a broken foot. First, they showed up late in a pickup truck. We refused to do a 3 hour tour with 3 across the front of a pickup truck. Then they found a solution and hour later and sent an Uber driver. Literally an Uber driver. The driver, Bernard, drove us around DC, but couldn’t answer a single question, nor tell us about any of the monuments or facts about Washington or the history. He never left the car and I had to wiki everything to teach my kids about the sights. It was a huge scam. I would not trust this tour company. Very shady.

Our private tour with Fisseha Genemo was everything we had hoped for. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Our trip was great. Our driver was kind, knowledgeable and suggested many great places to see. He allowed us time to take pictures, get lunch and use the restroom. It was suppose to rain and we were handicapped. He was great.

Our tour guide was beyond phenomenal!!! His tour vastly surpassed our expectations. He displayed a remarkable amount of knowledge of all things DC and US history, and even personalizes the tour to what you’re interested in. All of our questions and curiosities were fully answered, and you feel like you’ve lived in DC for years by the time your tour has ended. Eliminating the crowds for a private stroll of the capital is definitely worth it. Unbelievable deal for the price they offer. An 11/10 tour of Washington DC!

Excellent comms and collected and returned to union station in a very comfortable vehicle. Saw most of the big sights in Washington and would recommend this company

The Guide chose highlights according to our preference, and had a wonderful knowledge of all we saw. This is the most I have gotten out of viewing the Memorials -- more than prior visits to DC. He even took pictures and will send them to use of our group and parts of our groups.

Although viator keeps advertising and writing about the 4 hour private tour, not to mention the high price they charge, the first thing our tour guide announced was that this is a 3 hour tour. Nothing could persuade her that the tour is sold as 4 hour tour. This is a deception, and we definitely feel ripped off.

we purchssed a 4 hour private tour for a very high price. The first thing tje tour guide said was that this is a 3 hour tour. She was not moving from that declaration and indeed did not give us the 4 hour tour we paid for

Tunde was great and got us to all the places we wanted to see. If you have certain things you want to focus on he would do that first. It was a great 4 hour experience being able to get off and get on to see the sites. He also gave us insight as how to take the best pictures and where!! It did rain and hail on us but thankfully Tunde was prepared with umbrellas. Would highly recommend. Our 17 and 10 year olds loved it.
