Tour guide was very informative and personable. She was very knowledgeable of the history of Arlington Cemetery. Highly recommend.
Nur was an excellent guide! It was only my immediate family on the tour so we had a really tailored experience. Nur made sure we saw all the highlights and timed us to be at JFK's grave site and the Tomb of the Unknown Solider as they were being wreathed for Christmas time. Unbelievable experience. He answered all our questions, was fun and imformative. Overall a really great mix for a tour. Highly Recommend
It never happened. We waited & waited outside the visitor center but the guide never showed, despite repeated requests.
Nur the guide was absolutely brilliant and provided an excellent and really informative tour of the cemetery at exactly the right pace.
The background information was outstanding. The guide was very adept at answering questions and adding extra insights at every stop. Well worth the money and then some.
the tour guide did not show. we had to buy new tickets and make our own way round a very large cemetery. This trip is something we really wanted to do and was booked before we left the UK
We didn’t get on the tour. It was cancelled about an hour before it was scheduled. There was only a light on and off drizzle and “weather forecast” was the reason given in an email for the cancellation to Arlington National Cemetery
The guide was very nice and eager to do the tour but found out while we were waiting that there was a special burial that day and we would not be allowed to enter the cemetery. It was very disappointing and I feel I should get my money back
A great private tour with lots of info and a wonderful guide. We were happy to have scheduled this tour.
Our tour guide, Nur, was a king of history! He taught us so much about the Arlington Cemetery and those buried there.
We arrived at the meeting point before 10am but couldn’t find the tour guide. Tried to call the phone number on the ticket page, but no one answered, always went to voicemail. We ended up walking around without a tour guide.
Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He walked at a pace that was right for us and still had us at the changing of the guards ceremony at the appropriate time. He engaged every one in our group with facts and questions.
Save your money. You can walk the grounds and see more and at your own pace for free. Look online or the free pamphlets that are given at the door the tell you all you want to know about Arlington. Or get the riding tour that explains about the cemetery and some of the persons buried there. You can get on and off the tram and again do it at your own pace and really see and experience much more better. Instead of putting up with some strangers personal thoughts and ideologies who will bypass or not even know about any of the historically noteworthy people they will walk right past and not even know or care about. You can just walk in and get your tram tickets on any day and never need to reserve ahead so you can tailor the tour to your day schedule. You can also see the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown Soldiers taking place every hour on the hour. And you can see the Marine Corps Iwo Jima monument with the names of every major battle the Marine Corps has participated in. You can also see on your own the tribute to NASA astronauts, many Supreme Court Justices, Generals and Admirals some you may know and many you may not like Rickover…. The father of the nuclear Navy. Chief justice Ginsburg, Audie Murphy etc.
We loved our tour guide. He was knowledgeable and personable and enhanced the experience. If you get him, you’re in good hands.
Our tour guide who was not in Virginia said it was raining in Arlington National Cemetery. We arrived at Arlington National Cemetery. It was not raining. I called the tour guide. She cancelled the tour. I am trying to figure out how to get a refund.
Nur Gray was our guide and he was excellent! His knowledge was amazing. My husband, son and I talked about how much better our experience was doing the walking tour with the guide in a small group. I highly recommend him and this experience!
The guide never showed up. I don’t know why I’m being asked to give a review when I should be getting a refund that I submitted for.
Our tour guide was a delightful person and well informed. She was quite soft spoken, however and, as an older couple, we had trouble keeping up with her or hearing her from the back of the group. We enjoy walking but, because of our experience, I don't recommend this walking tour for older couples.
This was fantastic! Do it! The walk is not difficult and the tour is worth it!! Tim, our guide, was so knowledgeable!!
They canceled 5 minutes before it started! Then they said we could still have a tour if we were willing to wait 4 hours! Wow. We waited for this. We planned this! We also paid a parking fee.
Met Rochelle, our tour guide and she did a great job providing insight about Arlington. She also knew some of the Arlington personnel that had added information.
JFK eternal flame, changing of the guard. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and as a Royal Naval veteran I enjoyed the whole experience. I was struck by how many children’s groups were there, which I find very encouraging and applaudable.
Our visit was such a moving experience! Walking upon such Hallowed Ground is something ever American needs to do. The expansive view of so many gravesites breaks your heart. Thank you Nur for a fact filled and fun tour of Arlington! He shared so much knowledge with us. We learned information from Nur we would have never learned on our own. Such a fantastic morning!
Totally excellent tour. Paul our guide was amazing, Knowledgeable, friendly with fab mix of opinion and fact. This is a moving, mind-blowing place and he made it
The knowledge of our guide Nur was awesome. He was well educated in everything about the cemetery. Very well impressed
The trip to this important landmark is not the same without the historical commentary of a guide. In this tour we received a lof of interesting points of information from the guide and went to all the relevant areas of the cementary including JFKs memorial, the changing of the guard, among others.
Learning the history of the Cemetery was most memorable, thanks Nur. The changing of the Guards ceremony was outstanding. The attention to details, commitment, and honor! We also saw a Honor Flight group which reminded me, veterans of old have not been forgotten. I was very impressed by the Military Women’s Memorial, showing when and how women have courageously taken charge through out military history. We were blessed with pleasant weather, the 2-hour walk went by fast!
The tour guide Nor was great very interesting intelligent well educated gentleman. We got a lot out of the visit
James was very knowledgeable and allowed us to wander off regular path. He did a great job. Itskgxkysmgxmgggxtmgghdghx gxmyhcm come mgsd m xj ly
The Lincoln tomb, Kennedy gravesites, the first burial, changing of the guard, colosseum, gravesites of challenger and so much more
IT was absolutely fabulous and so amazing !! !! I would suggest to ask for him !!! VERY EDUCATED AND FUN !!
We were not the only ones who could figure out where to meet the guide and subsequent what’s app messsges we’re less than helpful. Arlington is good but go with a different company. Guide was just Ok.
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was the highlight of the tour. Our tour guide did a great job informing us of so many details. Answered any of our questions. It was a great way to experience Arlington National Cemetery. We were very fortunate to have had a beautiful day.
Impressive. However, we have seen only a small raising of the guard. But emotion guaranteed when playing the music of the national anthem
