An absolute crown jewel on Pennsylvania Avenue. From the moment you step into the grand historic lobby, the Willard feels less like a hotel and more like living American history and it's genuinely steps from the White House. The room was immaculate, elegant, and whisper-quiet, with a bed I did not want to leave. Service was flawless without ever feeling stiff: every request handled quickly and warmly. The location can't be beaten for exploring D.C. monuments, museums, and the National Mall are all an easy walk. Worth every penny; I already can't wait to come back!!

We had such a wonderful stay! The room was very comfortable and we slept incredibly well. We also really enjoyed the food at the hotel — everything we had was delicious. What made our stay especially memorable, though, was Ali. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful from the moment we arrived. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. I was visiting DC with my mom, and Ali’s warmth and genuine hospitality made the trip even more special for both of us. It’s rare to come across someone who makes guests feel so genuinely welcomed and cared for. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely love to come back. A huge thank you to Ali for making our stay so memorable!

A Powerful Reminder That Integrity Still Exists I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C. — not only for its incredible location and historic elegance, but, most importantly, for the extraordinary integrity and thoughtfulness of its staff. I accidentally left behind a $900 Hermès belt from the Hermes in Paris which bought on my first and only trip to Europe. It has incredible sentimental value and some less significant but valued clothing in my room. To be completely honest, I was shocked when I was contacted and told that my belongings had been found, carefully secured, and returned to me. The housekeeper, Ms. Muluwork Woldermariam, turned everything over to Security, where Sai Dadana and the Security team handled the entire process with exceptional professionalism and care. In a world where you sometimes wonder whether honesty and integrity still carry the weight they once did, this experience genuinely restored my faith in people. The fact that someone could have easily walked away with valuable personal belongings but instead did the right thing speaks volumes about the character of this hotel and the people who represent it. The Willard is beautiful, but its people are what make it exceptional. Thank you for reminding me that incredible integrity, kindness, and human decency are still alive and well. I will remember this experience far longer than I will remember the room. Five stars doesn't feel like enough. Highly, highly recommended.

I stayed at the InterContinental The Willard in Washington, DC on July 1, and I absolutely loved our experience. I’ve always admired the history and elegance of the Willard. From the moment you walk through the front doors, the hotel feels truly luxurious — the kind of place that makes you feel like royalty. The location is also fantastic. The hotel is just a short walk from the National Mall and many of Washington, DC’s most iconic attractions, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. What made this stay truly memorable, though, was the outstanding service from the staff. The Willard was already a dream stay because of its history and elegance, but the kindness of the staff made it an experience we will never forget.
