There are two fees that are not listed anywhere on their direct site or on any third party booking: the $35/night amenity fee and the $100/night incidental fee. Had I known about these I definitely would not have stayed here. The desk staff is a little “dry” and not very welcoming. There was more of a welcome from the people at the door than anyone else. I will say the hotel looks nice. For a luxury hotel, the standard room is small. The bathroom is tiny and the air makes the room very cold (I had the thermostat up to 82 and the room never went above 70). The water pressure was below average and the water remained just warmer than lukewarm. This isn’t necessarily a “luxury” experience. The location is nice and convenient. But I wouldn’t stay here again. I think the “luxury” is overplayed and overpriced. I am amending my review. Someone posted last year about bed bugs and I saw it after my stay. I will say I believe it to be true. There was some irritation resembling bites to my legs which was not immediate and were several in number at the end of my stay. (Room 730). Had it manifested sooner I would have said something. But they appeared at the end of my trip. I can’t say what it was but I’m not happy.

I read the reviews and they swayed me. All I can say is Location, location, location - otherwise, I don’t see the hype. It was a pretty basic stay. The room was small, the shower pressure was not good and paying for amenities that I did not use kinda ticked me off. I’ve never paid for amenities- just add them to the room charge. I had a much better stay at The Canopy, caddy corner from this hotel and liked it much better. Logan Circ area is one of my favorites though.
Just overall great experience. The staff was very nice and accommodating. My room was very very clean. One of the best hotel I stayed at in a while. Too be honest this my very first positive review I ever done on a hotel because I was sooo impressed. Highly recommend if you come to the DC area.
I had a great stay. Check in was easy, my room wasnt ready when i came in, it was a full day for them, i was told to wait for 5 minutes and in 5 minutes i got my room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room size is okay, not too small, very comfy, also happy with the bed, nice pillow, great amenities. Shower is good, water pressure is also great. Water bottles are provided daily. Good wifi. Safe deposit box inside the room. Natural lights from the window. Location is great, easy to get online transport. Also walking distance to a lot of restaurants and cafes. A lot of embassies around the hotel.
Pretty decent hotel located near a bunch of embassies. About a $25 cab ride from DCA. There are restaurants, a Whole Foods, and bars nearby. About a 10 minute walk to DuPont Circle Metro and 15 minutes to McPherson Square Metro. The room size was great. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is a little small, but had nice toiletries. The robe could use a little fabric softener, but happy it was in the room. I love that there was a full-sized ironing board with iron and a refrigerator. The desk area needed to be dusted a bit, but stocked with coffee, teas, and glassware. Bottled water was provided which was a huge plus. I didn’t take a picture of the lobby, but it’s as pictured on the website. Staff were very professional and welcoming. I would stay here again.
