This hotel is a complete disappointment. Never again. Not only was the pool 4.5 ft deep. When i went to turn the shower on the handle came off. The room itself looked like details of cleanliness was over looked. I was disappointment when I was told i had to pay for Continental breakfast especially after the nonsense in my shower. They charge high prices for everything as if this hotel stands by there Brands Value. I will definitely pay that 800 to the Marriott next time. I spent all that money just to be disappointed. Do Better. Besure to be detailed in weekly PMs.

We stayed here for the 4th of July holiday 250. To say that this hotel rose to the occasion despite every room likely being at capacity with 4 people (based on the large groups of marching bands in the hotel lobby), the entire staff was extraordinary! Housekeeping (in particular Madeleine who serviced our room to the highest professional level ever) was stellar! Arriving together with nearly every other guest at 130 in the MORNING following the late fireworks, we were greeted by staff, orchestrating the elevators in an organized fashion, chocolate chip cookies and water offered to everyone! The lobby was regularly staffed with popsicles in red white and blue, fresh cold water, various toys for families and on and on…. This hotel exceeded our expectation in every way. Im a Hyatt frequent traveler and this was the most extraordinary example of hospitality I have ever experienced. It is with gratitude I say thank you for a memorable stay in the nations capital.
I had an excellent stay at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The location is hard to beat. It's a short trip from the airport and within walking distance of many of the city's most important landmarks, including the Library of Congress, the U.S. Capitol, the National Mall, and other major attractions. The White House is also an easy trip away. What truly made this stay stand out, however, was the service. Megan, one of the managers, was exceptionally warm and welcoming and provided the best hotel check-in experience I've ever had. She set the tone for the entire stay. Hannibal and the rest of the staff were equally friendly, professional, and eager to help whenever I needed anything. If you're visiting Washington, DC for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel. The combination of an outstanding location and genuinely exceptional hospitality makes it an easy five-star experience.
Nice spacious rooms for a downtown property. The staff is amazing. Amz checked me in. I spoke to him a few days before checking in because my company was booking the rooms for the Giant Barbecue Battle. There was a hiccup on my company's part but he made the process painless and much faster. Giant had a reception and the space as well as the food were great. All of the staff were super nice and inviting. And lastly you have a great view of the Capitol from outside of the entrance. I highly recommend staying here if you are in DC or need a hotel as a hosting spot for an event. Also has a great workout room and a nice pool.
Rooms were updated and clean. The lobby is beautiful. Service at the front desk was good, but we did have some issues with booking and sorting out business and personal stays and different credit cards for different nights, but it did get sorted out. The location is a 10 minute walk from union station and also the capitol buildings. Pool area was nice. Beds were comfortable.
