Great location. The room was surprisingly big for a boutique hotel and was also updated and modern. The only negative comment I have regarding this hotel was the restaurant. They were very understaffed for a Saturday morning. Behind the coffee counter, it looked like chaos and although the tables were empty, nobody had cleaned them. It appeared that the tables that were seated had not been helped. We ended up leaving after waiting for over 15 minutes with no help.

Me and my family stayed here in room 603 and 703 for 4 days and 3 nights, our room 603 didn’t have a working steamer (they don’t have iron), we had to request one but we couldn’t because our phone wasn’t working and they made absolutely no attempt to fix the phone, so we had to go downstairs for every little need, the toilet barely flushed, they came to clean once the whole stay, the soap dispenser wasn’t working it was literally nightmare! And on top of the misery…. Valet didn’t give us the option to park our car for a price they just looked at the car and said no its too big while we watched another guest of a lighter complexion (white) was given the option to valet their big car not knowing we were willing to pay the price. Never again will I come here! I’ve been to hotels with 3 stars that was way more clean, tasteful and had exceptional customer service, I definitely learned my lesson of just sticking to what I know and not another place just because.
This room was absolutely beautiful. The stay was incredible and close to where we needed to be. They had a Resturant and all other amenities. Thank you for making my stay comfortable and relaxing. Too bad you didn’t have the next day available but I understand it was 4th of July weekend and we were last minute customers. I went to another hotel called the Homewood suites which was a lot more money and the stay was not a good stay!! Thank you for the great services you provided me
I love the boutique style hotels. This hotel was great, hotel staff were great as well. Room was clean. Safe area in DC. Used the valet parking. Wish there was onsite self parking but valet was worth the convenience versus having to use off site self parking. Bellman was satisfactory. The onsite resturaunt was great. The caesar salad was the best I've ever had. Chicken fettuccine Alfredo was amazing. Would have liked a draft beer option but the local craft beer was an added plus rather than the standard domestic beer options. My breakfast sandwich (7/4/2026) was served on a hamburger bun but tasted great. Cons: The man bartender with the earrings working Saturday night (7/4/2026) was incredibly rude. With a busy holiday weekend there were a few options out of stock, which is understandable, but when I said " dang I was hoping for a light beer tonight" I was told "i dont know what to tell you". He didn't pour my beer, he just gave me a glass and the can. He never asked me if I wanted a beer or food, both times I had to stop him to ask. He did try to spark up a conversation at the end when it came time to pay but unfortunently my tip reflected the whole service.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff at the restaurant and bar were genuinely kind, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk completely overshadowed everything else. I had an extremely disappointing experience. I was told I would receive a room upgrade, and based on the conversation, I understood it to be confirmed. When it wasn’t honored, the front desk staff denied what had been communicated and made me feel as though I had misunderstood the situation. Thankfully, I wasn’t alone. I had someone with me who heard the entire conversation and can confirm what was said. What disappointed me most wasn’t just that the upgrade didn’t happen, but the lack of accountability and the way the situation was handled. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and frustrated. As someone who shares my travel experiences online, I believe it’s important to be honest about both positive and negative experiences. I’ll be sharing this experience on my TikTok and Instagram so others can make informed decisions about the level of customer service they can expect. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses how guests are treated at the front desk because the excellent service from the restaurant and bar staff deserves better representation.
