Excellent, interesting tour. Marzena was personable, knowledgeable, and interesting. She speaks fluent English and is easily understandable. We chose a small group tour and there were three of us. There’s more to see than I would have thought and Marzena adds critical perspective. She knows her stuff and how to make it come alive.

Excellent. Marzena, the guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting and enjoyable.
This is a great small group walking tour to get to know the Jewish history of Warsaw. Marzena is a great guide and very knowledgeable about the history. Be prepared to walk a lot though.
Marzena was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable and caring, able to explain both the facts and the emotional and psychological and geopolitical reasons for the events that happened. Answered questions and offered suggestions for following up on individual interests. Would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful tour with Marzena. She was so informative and personable. She Explained a difficult history in a way that we could understand and empathize. She's the kind of guide I would love to have over and over again.
This is an extremely informative, well planned tour. Marzena was an absolute gem! Her love of history and background knowledge are exemplary. The historical photos she used helped give a keen understanding of what actually happened. Make the time to take this tour.
Excellent experience with super knowledgable guide. We stopped at all the key spots and with time to ask questions and reflect. Highly recommend.
Marzena was a very considered and thoughtful guide who took us chronologically through the time events of WEII as it pertains to Poland, and Jewish Ghetto history in Warsaw. Importantly, she made us understand how psychological manipulation occurred. This is a must do tour to see the sites that Warsaw respectfully honours in its past, making us understand why it should never happen again - yet tragically does.
I love that it was just my family in the group. It gave us more time to talk with the tour guide about things we were seeing.
This is a must if you’re going to want to learn about the atrocities of WW2. Our guide was super informative Maranda really brought this to home for us and was a wealth of information. Bring good walking shoes.
Our tour guide Magena was fabulous. Her ability to walk us through the history of the Warsaw Ghetto was incredible. Thoughtful, detailed and instructive — do not miss the opportunity to learn from her if you are in Warsaw.
This was one of the best tours we've ever taken. Our guide, Marzena, was excellent - she pitched her tour chronologically: from the creation of the ghetto, tracing its development through the war years and ending with its destruction - with the sights along the way as vivid illustrations of the events. We also liked how she catered to those on the tour who had little knowledge of, as well as those who had previously studied, the Warsaw Ghetto - taking (and answering) all questions. All in all, an excellent, yet sobering, tour.
Great tour with Marzena! She had lots of information for us and explained the manipulation of the Jews through the very detailed plans of the Nazis - (Himmler). We walked through many of the historical areas of the Warsaw ghetto and felt we understood much more by the time our tour was over. Marezena had maps and photos which helped us see where we were and who some of the main characters were. Walked at an easy pace, especially as it was during the heat wave. Highly recommend.
Our guide, Marzena, was amazing — both in showing us the Jewish ghetto with all its current historical markers and its lone remaining synagogue and in describing the history of Jews in Warsaw. A tour not to be missed.
Our tour guide Marzena was amazing! Very knowledgeable and very concerned with conveying information. And very nice about answering questions.
This tour is an absolute must for any visitor to Warsaw. Marzena narrates an impactful, educational and thoughtfully constructed experience. A genuine standout from other tours.
A very worthwhile experience. Marzena is an exceptional guide - passionate and knowledgeable. I get to learn so much from her, not only about the city’s past but also its present. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of Warsaw and its history
This tour was an extremely thorough, educational and impactful tour of the Warsaw ghetto. Our guide was knowledgeable and thoughtful and gave meaningful and important context to the history of the ghetto and World War II as a whole. She pointed out and explained important landmarks of the ghetto. She also had a binder with pictures, maps and information to reference at different stops of the tour. I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Warsaw!
Our guide, Marzena was terrific. Her knowledge and organization was excellent. She welcomed all questions from participants without rushing. I highly recommend this tour.
Very good tour! Our guide was prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with her. She knew her subject and really did all that she could to acquaint us with Warsaw and to know much more about the history of the ghetto. 5 stars!!
It would be an understatement ti say our tour guide was very good....she was beyond that. Knowledgeable, interesting, explained aspects clearly and was extremely organized. I would HIGHLY recommend her and all would be very very pleased with her tour. Great tour and greatly educational!!! Thank you
Our guide Marzena was outstanding. She was very knowledgable and was able to provide us with lots of information about the history of Jews in Warsaw, the creation of the ghetto and the Nazi occupation and final solution. We were taken around what was the ghetto which was an area of approx 2 miles. I can’t recommend this tour enough if you want to know more about the treatment of Jews in Warsw right before WWII and during it.
I had Marzena of Polin Tours as my guide on a walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto in Warsaw. She was phenomenal. She is friendly and easy to talk to — but mostly, you should listen to her. Marzena managed to tell the story of the Jewish people in Poland from the Middle Ages through to depicting their vibrant world in Warsaw before the Nazi occupation. She then built the story brick by brick: the incremental decrees the Germans issued which led to the building of the ghetto, the suffering inside the ghetto, the resistance efforts, and the eventual deportation of the people to Treblinka and the systematic leveling of everything that remained. Because the ghetto was so thoroughly destroyed — and because modern Warsaw now hums in that same space — it is essential to have a guide who can tell the story to make the little brick, the plaque, or the memorial stone that you see meaningful. Marzena is that guide.
Excellent tour. I received a lot of interesting information and visited historical places. Tour person very helpful and knowledgeable.
Marlena was engaging, incredibly knowledgeable and gamely accommodated all of our questions and requests for little detours. She added details and humanity to her lessons that truly brought Warsaw's history to life for us. We finished the tour feeling like we took a university seminar in the history of Warsaw! The tour was 3 hours long but it flew by in what felt like an instant. We can't recommend this tour highly enough!
Marzena was terrric. She was very knowledgeable, engaged and patient. We highly recommend her as a guide.
I missed my Uber ride and couldn’t get to the starting point but my guide came for me and gave me the most wonderful tour. What a fantastic experience. She was a terrific guide and so knowledgeable.
Marzena is an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Learned many facts that I did not discover in my research of the Ghetto
If you want to learn a lot about the history of Warsaw and the ghetto, this is absolutely the tour for you. Our guide was so knowledgeable and I learned an incredible amount of information that I wasn't familiar with before. I highly recommend this tour!
Our tour of the Warsaw Ghetto with Marzena was a deeply moving and informative experience. The walking tour itself was full of architectural and urban history interest - not only how the ghetto came to be, but how the city looked and lived before and how it was reconstructed afterwards. The horror of that time was not glossed over, but the tour was much more than that. Marzena explained historical processes with a depth and clarity that shed light on how the Nazis were able to win legitimacy and even collaboration. She showed us maps and photographs that illuminated complicated histories. She answered all our questions cheerfully and was open to learning from us in turn. And at the end, by the site where people were shipped out in cattle wagons, she gave us some quiet time to reflect and mourn.
Our experience with Marzena was excellent. She is an extremely knowledgeable and talented guide. We spent three hours with her within the boundaries of the Warsaw Ghetto and each step of our journey was accompanied by Marzena’s deep knowledge of the history of this painful site. If you want to find out about the history of the Ghetto and you want to do this in a thought provoking and respectful manner, I would fully recommend Marzena. We are planning to return next year and we will definitely book Marzena as our guide.
Our tour guide Marzana was phenomenal. Her knowledge of the ghetto and its history made the tour very educational, informative and enlightening. I highly recommend this tour for anybody looking to gain some knowledge while visiting Warsaw!
Great informative tour, lots of information, lots of walking. Marzena was a fantastic guide, patiently answering our many questions.
Tour was great and provided a lot of information on the ghetto. Tour guide had lived there all her life and was very knowledgeable.
This was an informative, extremely interesting tour! I would strongly recommend to anyone visiting Warsaw.
I booked the Warsaw Ghetto tour through Viator and ended up with a private tour that was absolutely outstanding. Our guide was the most amazing storyteller—funny and engaging, yet deeply respectful when tackling the heavy history of the Nazi era. She kept us fully engaged as we navigated the ghetto sites, weaving in WW2 history, personal stories, and the immense suffering endured by Poles and Jews with sensitivity and clarity. We learned a tremendous amount—about the daily life, the resistance, and the lasting impact of the occupation on Warsaw and its Jewish community. If you’re visiting Warsaw and want a tour that is informative, thoughtfully paced, and delivered with warmth and humor, I’d highly recommend this tour to everyone. It was a powerful, enlightening experience from start to finish.
It’s a lot of waking. Our guide was very, very knowledgeable. We took the metro to meet the 3 others who were also going on the tour. She showed us photographs and maps of the different sites we visited before the war and after the war. This tour was very informative and interesting. If you’re in the Jewish history and life in the ghetto, this tour is a must.
Marzena is wonderful and very knowledgeable. She made the three hours fly by. Highly recommend this tour and request her
Great tour. It was interesting and very informative. I am not normally a tour person but this was well worth the time and money. Highly recommend it
The walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto Was very moving, informative and All of the stops were thought out and in an excellent sequence. A difficult topic that was handled appropriately
This walking tour provides a valuable glimpse of the horror that unfolded in the Warsaw Ghetto as the Nazis put in place their final solution for the so-called Jewish problem. To walk the streets is incredibly moving and you are left struggling to understand how such insanity could be perpetrated.
The ghetto tour is humbling and emotional. Much bigger than I had imagined. There were lots of sites with original buildings or partial buildings from the time period - right down to bullet holes in the walls. Very insightful and recommended.
On Monday 14 July my boyfriend and I had the privilege to be guided by Marzena of Polin Tours around the former Warsaw ghetto and we will never forget it. Marzena made us understand in a deep way, she didn’t just lecture, she made us see. She gave us aha-moments. She was wonderful and if you have the chance to go on this tour of the Warsaw ghetto, do it. And maybe, like us, you will feel like this tour was one of the most important things you have ever done. Torstein and Mari.
This experience was simply AMAZING!! Our tour guide went out of her way to answer our questions and tie our visits to the POLIN and Warsaw Uprising Museums with the tour!! This is a must-do experience for anyone visiting Warsaw!!
We had a wonderful guide, Marzena Swirska-Molenda, who was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Poland and especially the Ghetto area. We got to see and hear so much about this time and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend this tour.
Informative, historically oriented tour covering events and locations in chronological order. Marzena describes a series of events beginning with the German invasion using historical sites and monuments. She is faithful to the historical record and brings photographs and maps to illuminate places as they were during the Ghetto time.
Incredibly informative and moving. Your guide was wonderful, well informed and knowledgeable. I can’t imagine visiting Warsaw and not doing this tour.
Our guide was exceptionally well informed . She was kind in adapting to my physical challenges, and passionate in telling this remarkable story. More people need to learn this history.
Wow! Marzena is an amazing tour guide! This is a tough subject to spend about 4 hours walking and listening to but she handled it beautifully. Was very empathetic, filled to the brim with knowledge and was one of the better tour guides we’ve had.
It was a great experience! I highly recommend the guide Marzena to everyone! This is a great competent experienced knowledgeable fun guide who will show you Warsaw with its sights, secrets and peculiarities! It was an incredible hours spent with her! Marzena, thank you one more time!
