Oliwia was very knowledgeable and a great guide! The walk was easy, we saw the main sites and got additional recommendations.

Itinerary
The main boulevard street of Warsaw, reminding you if the city's royal past. Adorned with palaces, parks and monuments, including the Presidential Palace, Bristol Hotel and St. Cross Church, where the heart of Chopin is interred.
Old medieval core of Warsaw with its red roofs, colourful houses and the Royal Castle is the most unlikely UNESCO Heritage Site, as it was fully reconstructed following the near full destruction during WW2. The reconstruction was done so meticulously that you will have hard time telling that it's not old, and it set the example for the rest of the world.
Curiously named New Town, this part of the city was also established in the Middle Ages. It's the place of birth of Maria Skłodowska-Curie. The Barbican, standing between the Old and New Town, is a conclusion ground of our walk. Thank you for joining!

Andrzej was a great tour guide! He was informative, knowledgable, and entertaining. I learned a lot and loved the tour!
Wear comfortable shoes and dress warmly! Our guide Tom was excellent and entertaining and we learned a lot.
A history recap that was very informative And Tomas had great stories and personal experiences that he shared.
Kristof was knowledgeable and polite and kept our attention. Kristof kept us moving and we learned a lot. I would walk again with him.
Very knowledgeable and very funny tour guide, made the walk around old town nice. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting.
We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Michael did a great job. Very knowledgeable and engaging . Would highly recommend the tour
Michael is super. He knows a lot, has done his research and is very passionate. The use of the ipad to show photos was also very nice.
Nice walking tour through Old Town Warsaw. We learned about Chopin, Maria Skłodowska Curie, the mermaid, the medieval era, and much more history of Warsaw. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. Great way to get your bearings and get an introduction to this historic city.
This was a very informative overview and tour of the old town of Warsaw. Jack was our tour guide and he was delightful and easy to listen to and follow.
Our guide, Michael was excellent.
Anna was a great tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and provided the group with extensive information about Warsaw’s old town and it’s restoration. Would definitely recommend this tour as a great start to tour visit to Warsaw.
Andrzej was a phenomenal guide with exceptional knowledge. BUT sign up for his tour via freewalkingtour.com a company called Walkative! little did I know Viator wasn't paying the guide a penny! where did all my money go Viator??? a little sleezie.
I thought the walking tour was great. Our guide was a local Warsaw citizen who gave us a ton of insight on the history of the city / country and also what it is like to live here. I loved his honest no-nonsense history lesson.
It’s a must to get background and perspective on Warsaw. A very comprehensive introduction to the history of the Old Town
A really great walking tour in Warsaw! Yatchik was a great guide, very knowledgeable of the past and present in Warsaw, very informative and had a great sense of humor! We really enjoyed this tour!
Our guide was very knowledgeable of Poland's history. He was able to recount historical events and include some humour along the way.
Very informative tour covering the history of Warsaw from medieval times to today's rebuilt Old Town. A reasonable amount of walking involved in the tour
Excellent tour guide Michael, very knowledgeable, very informative and he spoke perfect English Highly recommended
The tour touches on the old buildings that survived the 2nd world war, Polish royalty and various layers of government. The tour guide ran over by 20 minutes which was a problem fornus since we had plans. This delay could have been avoided if the guide spent less time praising his sense of sarcasm and soliciting interaction from the group. A bit disappointing.
Oliwia was an incredible guide and the tour was super informative. Very highly recommended for those wanting a quick way to learn about the incredible history of Warsaw!
This was a fabulous walking tour, with a very knowledgeable guide. I appreciated her personal insights, and obvious passion about her city and its famous residents. It was a brilliant introduction into the history of Warsaw. The Old Town has been beautifully restored and is a "must see" in Warsaw. I loved all the little insights that she gave us: e.g. about the two hotels. It took nearly two and a half hours and is not for people who have mobility issues.
Great tour, excellent your guide Andrew - articulate and knowledgeable. I liked his passion and the delivery. I also enjoyed the fact that Andrew was polite and understanding the curiosity of our 12-year old son and treated him with care and respect.
Honestly, the tourist guide was rather unpleasant person, she was sarcastic and arrogant. She treated us like first grade pupils. Afterwards, she tried to be funny but sometimes the jokes were inconvinient. She showed unpleasentness towards Krakow, towards other nations, emphasisizing Warsaw as being the only victim of…. The only positive thing was that her English was perfect.
Tom was a brilliant guide- so knowledgeable and humorous too. The walk was very interesting and we would definitely recommend.
Easy walking tour providing loads of Warsaw history. Guide was super knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. Well worth the $. Only negative was that there was little time to take photos and most of the key sites, we saw from behind.
Greeting , My husband and I really enjoyed the walking tour and the guide was awesome ! We kept us entertained with cute facts and jokes . The only minus was to that trip was flying ants 😕on the Market Place . For people who afraid of insects I would warn them to take a bug spray .? Otherwise we had a great time . Yuliya
So much information mixed with relevant stories, humour and irony. I am sorry I don’t remember the name of the guide but he was excellent. His English was amazing ….
He gave a lot of history about Old Town Warsaw and shared many interesting insights. Great way to have an introduction to Warsaw and Polish history.
It was amazing. Loved every part of it! Highly recommended!
Very interesting and wryly amusing walk through the history of Warsaw and Poland as a country. The guide was extremely informative and brutally honest about the political history that has shaped the country Poland is today. I learned a lot about a country I knew little about previously and I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone hoping to do the same.
The tour consisted of 20-30 People, all over the world. We had a round of meeting each other together with a very friendly Tour guide named Michael. The weather was near perfect. The city was blooming. We went over the most influential historic personalities of Poland and their specific historys. Michael explained it in a very easy to understand way, with the right ammount of dynamic, so it never got boring. We talked a bit about politics, world war I and II. Very interesting. Michael showed us the preserved buildings in their original state, that survived the world war II. Later on, after a short break, we went to the old city and explored an historic monument, rebuilt from the ground up. It was a very informative and well put together guide I can wholeheartedly recommend. It made me eager to learn more about the polish history and definitely raised the wish to visit Krakow one day. All that said, thank you Michael.
Very informative, fun & well paced tour... The tour guide Jacek was fantastic, prividing insightful historic & cultural information, along with a great sense of humour!
10/10! We had a tour with Michael (ME-HOW!), and it was not only incredibly informative but also genuinely entertaining from start to finish. As he guided us through Warsaw's Old Town and its main landmarks, he brought history to life by showing us how places looked in the past, making the experience much more interactive and engaging. What really stood out was Michael's passion for Warsaw, it shines through in every story he tells. He's also the kind of guide who embraces everything happening around him. Whether there was music playing nearby or even a bumblebee interrupting the tour (yes, that happened), he'd effortlessly weave it into the experience with humor, making us feel like we were all sharing the moment together. It made the tour feel personal, relaxed, and memorable. I couldn't recommend him more!
Hacen was the absolute best! Loved every second of it
The tour was great, very informative and they tour guide had a great sense of humor.
This tour should be renamed to: Polish history. It was NOT a walking tour about the key sites of Warsaw. Done many tours and this was one of, if not, the worst.
I did the tour with Ana on 7 July. She was very knowledgeable and gave us great insight into the history and sights of Warsaw. Her English was excellent and she gave great information in a very pleasant way.
Our guide Ania was excellent, professional, told us lots about the history of Warsaw, took us to lots of areas showing us many landmarks, suggested things we could do after the tour and was entertaining as well.
Our tour guide Andrzej was great! Very engaging and funny! The way he told the history was very entertaining and informatyce
Ania was a great guide - obviously loves her city a lot and took great pleasure in showing us around.
We gathered at the Nicholaus Copernicus statue and walked to old town with stops along the way. Along the way we got nice overview of Polish and Warsaw history and politics. Michael had ipad with great old photos and maps to compare with sites along the way . Discussed some heroes of Warsaw ( including Chopin ) . Along the way he was helpful with answering our questions about history, tourist suggestions and tips, etc. He created a helpful tourist e-guide that he gave to us. Very friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend. note: Best if you just show up without buying ticket through 3rd party service and then tip him at end. He can process credit cards.
Michal was a great tour guide! Informative, entertaining, and professional. We understood the city so much better after this tour.
A fantastic and thorough tour! Agnieszka was incredibly knowledgeable and had answers to all of our group's questions. The tour itself was a good bit of walking without being at all strenuous--approx. 1.25 miles (2 km). We hit all of the sights and learned all about Warsaw Old Town's incredible history. I highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was so knowledgeable and funny. She was truly like hanging out with a friend. Would highly recommend
What a terrific and worthwhile tour! I knew nothing about Warsaw's Old Town, and this was a terrific introduction to the history, culture, politics, and sights of Warsaw's Old Town. We had an amazingly energetic, friendly, organized, and upbeat guide, Aga, who was not only super knowledgeable, but handled a HUGE crowd of tourists on this tour with exemplary flair. Aga also had exceptionally good English and integrated several useful touring-lecture, teaching strategies into her presentation (I know--I'm a teacher!). She also answered all questions perfectly. A genuine pleasure and I recommend it and Aga to anybody in Warsaw who wants to learn about the history, culture, politics, and major sights of Old Town!
Michael was a very engaging tour guide and answered all our questions. Interesting tour. Learned about the history of Warsaw.
Good guide with nice presentation. Somewhat difficult to find meeting place without having knowledge of the city because many locals unfamiliar with the name.
Our guide Michal shared with us his knowledge and understanding of several periods in the history of Warsaw and Poland. We learned a lot and enjoyed his insights and wit. Happy to recommend him to fellow travellers.
Michal (Me-how in Polish) was an excellent tour guide—his pace was easy and his knowledge vast & he communicated in an entertaining way! Highly recommend this tour for those new to Warsaw as he covers a lot of the history and in a way that helps you understand why things were done the way they were. I really feel like we saw a good bit of the city and my appetite has been whetted to learn even more. Absolutely loved this! It was really hot too and Michal was able to find the best shade for every stop!
