I really loved this tour. Our tour guide was wonderfully eloquent. I was so caught up in the stories of the past that I lost track of time, and couldn’t believe three hours had gone by until we were at the end. This tour was both heartbreaking and incredibly educational. I highly recommend it.

Along the way, you will discover stories of courage—silent heroes like Janusz Korczak—and learn about the history of the last orphanage in the Warsaw Ghetto.
You will see the largest remaining fragment of the Ghetto Wall and learn about the beginning of World War II, the establishment of the "Jewish Residential District in Warsaw," and the conditions there.
You will see the former building of the Bersohns and Baumanns Jewish Children's Hospital, and you will hear testimonies from its staff from the time of the Ghetto.
You will visit Waliców Street, where many tenement houses from the Ghetto still remain, and you will hear the stories hidden behind their walls.
We will end the tour at the site of the wooden footbridge on Chłodna Street, a haunting symbol of separation between the small and large ghettos and between two worlds – Jewish and non-Jewish. Here, you will uncover the story of the “Great Action” of 1942, Treblinka and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

Tour was very good, guide has a lot of supporting material, literally pieces, historical evidence and personal knowledge to enrich the tour. A lot of context is provided to understand everything. Walking was good, no stress.
A fantastic tour and well worth the money. Robert was incredibly knowledgeable. One to add to your visit to Warsaw
Great guide and experience! Very informative on past and current history. Enjoyed very much, would highly recommend
It was a 2+ hour walking tour that was extremely insightful and interesting. The tour guide was excellent! He made the tour 5 stars. I was very glad I went. It will be with me for a very long time.
Robert was a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. Even in a large group we were able to hear all that he had to tell us and we covered a large part of the old Jewish settlement. A worthwhile tour in Warsaw.
Our guide, Robert was great. He was a wealth of information, personable and obviously cared deeply about the history of the Jewish Ghetto. So glad we chose to do the tour.
Robert was very knowledgeable, organized, and easy to understand. The heaviness of the subject matter really seems to affect him.
It is very informative and they should expect to learn a lot. The guide Robert was excellent. He was engaging and extremely receptive to questions. A delight all around.
Really well done walkable tour. Guide was full of knowledge and real stories that brought the tour to life. We used the ghetto tour as a pre curser to our auschwitz tour a few days after.
Insightful tour, friendly and knowledgeable guide.
I absolutely enjoyed the tour “Jewish Warsaw and Stories from the Ghetto.” The guide was knowledgeable, empathetic, and well prepared, conveying historical facts precisely while bringing personal stories to life. The route was well chosen, with a respectful view of the past and fascinating insights into the daily life of the Jewish community in Warsaw. I was especially impressed by the mix of history, art, and remembrance work that makes the complexity of the topic tangible without sensationalizing. The pauses for reflection and questions were perfectly timed. An absolutely recommended tour for anyone who wants to learn about Warsaw’s history in a respectful and authentic way. 5 stars.
Robert is a brilliant guide. He uses the locations, allng with maps and photos to explain the story of the ghetto in vivid detail. Highly recommended. Our tour took 2 hours 20 mins.
Excellent tour. Robert is extremely knowledgeable and interesting. Highly recommend.
Just what we wanted in learning about the Jewish Ghetto in Warsaw. The guide was passionate about the topic and supplemented the narrative with photos. Easy meeting point. Nice guide. Lots of walking and different end point than start. Recommend it if interested in this topic.
Well told story of a terrible time in human history. The passion of the guide was always appropriate. If you know, find out more. If you don’t then this is a requirement.
One of the best walking tours I’ve ever been on. Robert is very knowledgeable and his telling of the stories left me feeling a deep sadness for the Jewish/Polish victims of the holocaust, but also a great respect and appreciation for the selflessness of those brave individuals who stood up to the Nazi oppressors. I was very impressed by how he concluded the tour, reminding us not to forget that before the horror these victims were people just like us with dreams, ambitions and hope for the future.
The walking tour with Robert through the Warsaw ghetto was amazing! He provided so much information and was so eager to show us as much of the history as he possibly could in 2 hrs. We were very happy with the tour! Thank you again :)
Robert was our guide for the Jewish Ghetto walking tour of Warsaw. We found him very professional, personable and his depth of knowledgeable was outstanding. He had numerous anecdotes about people who played major roles in the Jewish community during the Nazzi occupation and took us to a number of key sites. It was clear that he is passionate about passing on knowledge about this terrible time in the history of Poland.
I had a great tour. I was the only booking but Robert still did the tour and took al the time. He told the story of the ghetto and together with foto’s to support all the stories iT really came to live. It was a very impressive tour and Robert is very knowledgable. I would recommend the tour!
Robert showed me and my mom around Warsaw, and it was the best day we had in Poland. We started in the Old Town. You know those colorful houses everyone photographs? Yeah, they're beautiful. Then he explained how the whole area was rebuilt after the war and it messed with my head. Everything looked so cheerful and then boom - it hit me what that actually means. Palace of Culture next, this massive Soviet-era thing, honestly kind of intimidating at first. What grabbed me was the area around it. The new paths and landscaping trace the old streets and building footprints. I thought it was cool how they didn't just bulldoze everything. Glad they kept some memory of what was there. Still thinking about that. Then POLIN. God. It wrecked us. We spent extra time in the Warsaw Ghetto section and at the listening stations. One testimony about hiding in a cellar and the first time seeing daylight again, I'm still thinking about it. Robert didn't rush us through the heavy stuff and gave us space when we needed it. Me and my mom both needed a minute. Robert's a really nice guy. We clicked right away. He checked in at the right moments. You can tell he really cares about this city.
A very impressive and moving tour through the former Warsaw Ghetto. Our tour guide brought the history closer to us with a lot of knowledge, sensitivity, and in a very vivid way. Absolutely recommended – many thanks for this special tour!
Good illustration of the history of the Ghetto
