Olivia was an excellent guide. She explained many things to us, and made it understandable. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and only wish we had more time with her.

It was wonderful. Aga was super knowledgeable and made the tour dynamic and vibrantly interesting. We learned a lot, were deeply moved, and enjoyed it immensely.
Detailed history of life in the Jewish ghetto Extraordinary knowledge of guide painted a vivid picture
This was such an informative tour through what was the area of the Jewish Ghetto of Warsaw. Our guide, together with graphic photographs, really brought this tragic history to the fore. Thank you again. Would really recommend this tour to anyone visiting this lovely city.
The tour was quite emotional and overwhelming for me in a sense of my family’s history and background. The tour guide is really great and sensible, as well as knowledgeable, and I’m glad I did the tour with her. Well organised and I warmly recommend. Thank you X
Aga gave us a wonderful experience, sharing the history of the Jewish ghetto and the outcome of the German occupation.
This was a fabulous tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Very professional, and I made the tour. A lot of fun.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area, showed us historical pictures to help us understand how much was destroyed and how much it has changed and told stories of survival, starvation and desperation as well as hope and determination. we walked about 5km during the trip and the pace was rather speedy but there were only 3 of us and we were all fit.
I had an excellent, super informative and insightful three-hour walking tour with an excellent guide, Olivia. Olivia was not only prompt, but highly knowledgeable about the history of Warsaw, the remains of the Jewish ghetto and truly enlightened me. While I had read a fair amount about WWII and even seen the film The Piano, Olivia showed me specific sights and areas which I had zero knowledge of. I am a walker and LOVE walking, so we covered a lot of territory (all flat ground, nothing steep) and covered virtually everything imaginable. Olivia's historical background and insights were especially impressive, and her explanations about the Ghetto uprising and the remnants of the Warsaw Jewish Ghetto were quite powerful and I learned a lot. Highly recommended tour!
Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was very prompt and kept us on schedule Would highly recommend
This walking tour was one of the best walking tours I have ever been on. We had such a great time and learned a lot from Olivia. She tailored our tour based on what we were interested in, which included a delicious dessert break, deep conversations about religion and hope, and lots of laughs. There were just 5 of us and Olivia, and we ended as such good friends. Olivia brought a binder of photos to compare with how everything looks like today, which was super interesting and helpful. Her knowledge was excellent and she made the tour an interactive story. Thank you so much Olivia and to those interested in the best Jewish Ghetto Warsaw tour, you must choose this!
This tour was authentic, interesting, and very well done. Olivia was a great guide and related the story of this tragic event in a beautiful way. It’s a story to share, to appreciate and respect. Highly recommend this tour to all.
This was one of the best walking tours we have ever taken. Aga was an amazing guide, and really brought together the history of Jews in Warsaw in a cohesive and meaningful way. Highly recommend!!!
Incredible and knowledgeable tour guide ("Aga") made this "bucket list" experience that far, far exceeded my expectations! "Encourage anyone seeking their Jewish roots in Poland to take the tour and understand the history.
Olivia gave us a very good tour, with lots of information and background history. Highly recommended!
Olivia was the best tour guide ever. She turned the tour into an unforgettable educational and emotional experience!
The tour was a great experience. Olivia the tour guide had excellent knowledge and made the entire tour interesting.
This was, by far, the best walking tour we’ve ever taken. Not only is Oliwia incredibly knowledgeable about the Ghetto, she’s also an historian and so placed the Ghetto within the larger context of Germany’s invasion in 1939. The three hours we were supposed to spend on this tour stretched to *eight*, simply because there was so much to learn (and, yes, times where we needed to stop and warm up over French fries). But we never felt rushed or like we were a burden. This was also more than simply a tour highlighting a particular place and epoch. Thanks to Oliwia’s knowledge base, this opened a small window into only one trauma and struggle in Poland’s past that has echoes to this day. By pure happenstance, we met a man in his 90s near the location of the Bridge of Sighs who was 7 when the Nazis came to town. We spent a good twenty minutes listening to him recall that time to Oliwia—and he was pretty clear that he sees parallels between what happened then and what’s going on now in the US (and around the world). That was sobering and not something you normally hear. Take this tour with Oliwia: a truly knowledgeable, entertaining, wickedly funny woman. You’ll walk away with much more than you bargained for.
This was an outstanding and deeply meaningful tour of Jewish Warsaw. Olivia did a fantastic job and is an incredible historian of the city. Her knowledge was extensive, but what truly set her apart was her clear passion for the subject—you could feel how much this history matters to her. She used visual materials throughout the tour, which were a huge asset and really helped bring to life the rise, destruction, and transformation of different parts of the city. The visuals made it much easier to understand how Warsaw once looked and how dramatically it changed over time. The tour is quite long and involves a significant amount of walking, so if you are not comfortable walking longer distances, I would recommend either choosing a different tour or asking in advance about a shortened version. That said, shortening it would mean missing out on a wealth of important context and detail, so if you’re able to do the full tour, it is absolutely worth it. This tour is powerful, informative, and incredibly well delivered. If you want to truly understand Jewish history in Warsaw—not just see sites, but grasp their significance—I highly recommend this experience.
Our guide Olivia was not only very knowledgeable (even in three hours we felt we barely scratched the surface) but she very much cares about the many sensitive subjects that were covered. A tour one would never forget that I would recommend to anyone of any religion
I highly recommend Warsaw Undiscovered for any walking tour of Warsaw. We did the Jewish Warsaw tour with Aga, who was very knowledgeable and passionate. If we had time we would have done additional tours with Aga and Warsaw Undiscovered (go to the Warsaw Undiscovered website; all tours not necessarily listed on Viator).
It was a very interesting 3 hours twalk to visit the most memorable sites of the Warsaw Jewish history. Memorable means tragic due to the WWII, expertly presented by our guide.
Great tour! Olivia was outstanding. We saw things people on other tours did not see. Highly recommend!
Olivia’s Warsaw pride was evident, and she proved to be extremely very well versed in her knowledge of Jewish Warsaw and Poland’s history. She also provided great recommendations and we had an amazing Polish meal following our tour. Dziękujemy, Olivia!
Olivia was very informative. I learned a lot of information on what it was like to be Jewish before and during Poland being occupied.
Great experience exploring the former ghetto of Warsaw. This well paced tour provides an in-depth overview of the Warsaw ghetto with lots of historical context and amazing links to current day.
Olivia was a stellar guide, full of knowledge and responsive to questions. With a relatively small group, we were able to stop to buy a drink or use a bathroom. We saw all the main historical sites of Jewish Warsaw and covered a lot of ground. You’ll want to go back to visit a few sites, especially the POLIN Museum.
Absolutely amazing walking tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the history of the area. This was one of the best tours we did while in Poland.
Olivia was an incredible tour guide. She was so knowledgeable about the Jewish ghetto and of the ghetto(s) in Poland. I highly recommend this tour. You do not need to be Jewish to learn about the terrible things that happened in the Warsaw ghetto and to the people in the ghetto.
There is a LOT of walking on this tour. Not really not a lot to see of the Jewish ghetto since it was all destroyed. Our guide, Agnieska, was very good.
We really enjoyed this tour and learned a lot. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn about the Warsaw Ghetto.
Absolutely amazing tour with a really knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended for everyone interested in WW2.
Aggie was an amazing guide for the Jewish Warsaw walking tour- very easy to talk to, friendly, and great to chat with. I learned so much and even ordered two books afterwards. She was very understanding when Apple Maps misled me and I arrived late. Highly recommend!
Aga our guide was fabulous. She was incredibly well informed and so nice. She made the tour very interesting.
Olivia did an amazing job with our small group. She really knows her history and delivers it in an engaging manner. She took us to places I'd never been or even thought to find. I cannot recommend this tour enough and if you get Olivia, lucky you! Dziękuję bardzo!!!
Fantastic tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable, and learnt a lot of things I never knew before I arrived in Warsaw! Highly recommend.
Olivia knows so much about history! She is engaging, entertaining and a font of knowledge. There is a reason why 100% of her reviews are 5 Star! She is the real deal. You will enjoy this great tour!
Oliwia, our guide, was excellent. Highly recommend! Designed for people who can walk for a 3+ hour tour. Very detailed and informative. Great discussions.
Guide was very knowledgeable regarding historical events. It is a long walk. Wear good shoes, bring an umbrella.
Oliwia was very factual but also showed great humanity towards a very distressing time on Warsaws history. Loved this tour!
Our guide Agnieszka was outstanding, and made this trip an unforgetful experience for our family. We were suppose to go with some other, but they cancelled - so we had the guide for ourselves. Agnieszka was very knowledgeable, and we covered all of the area where the Jewish ghetto used to be. It's a some distance to walk, bring good shoes!
Excellent historical narrative. Key ghetto sites and memorials visited, with helpful maps and photos. Our guide was steady and kept a good pace so everyone could keep up or take an extra minute to take photos. Our guide was friendly and her English was perfect. Walking 3 hours can be taxing for those who may be older, walking on cobblestone so wear sturdy shoes and bring an umbrella. Doing a museum and this walk in one day may make for a long day on your feet. But this tour is worth it to embrace the ghetto as as a living Place - the tragedy is all too real.
Excellent guide with great knowledge of topic. Good materials to compliment her information. Sad but important
Our guide Olivia, was terrific. She knew all the facts ànd mad thé whole sad story come alive. It was a moving experience.
While most evidence of the massive Jewish population and the ghetto is now history, our guide did a wonderful job to present the details and information of what does remain, and spoke to our group of the unthinkable horrors that occurred. A very worthwhile tour. We must never forget!
On May 3 my wife and I took the Historic Walking Tour of Jewish Warsaw. Tour guide Oliwia used the existing city and numerous historical photographs to describe the World War II occupation, uprising, restoration, and reconstruction. She did an outstanding job explaining what happened, who was involved, and how she and other historians have learned about motivation and effects of much that occurred. I'm a docent at a major Holocaust museum in the United States, so I came to the tour with significant knowledge, and she confirmed what I already knew, expanded it, and broadened and deepened my understanding. All seven attendees were similarly engaged throughout, asked numerous questions in context that Oliwia answered clearly and patiently, and completed the tour seeming enriched by the experience. Her knowledge and manner will help me make my own museum tours better.
We han an excellent and knowledgeable guide who was also friendly and presented well. She had pictures and maps in her book that were helpful and interesting during our journey. Her namecwas Agneskia.
It was a great experience walking through the area that was the Ghetto during WWII. Our guide was knowledgeable and she shared information in a very pleasant manner pointing to structures monuments and buildings that relate to Jewish history in Warsaw.
Oliwia was a very outgoing and friendly guide who answered our many questions with honesty and humour. The tour gave us a vivid account of the severity of life in the ghetto. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Warsaw. Our only regret is that we did not leave enough time in Warsaw to do another tour with Oliwia.
Our guide, Agnieszka was excellent. It was a very hot day and she was solicitous for our comfort throughout. It was a small very disparate group. I’d heard and read a lot about the Ghetto and World War 2 but nothing prepares you for the impact of walking the streets and hearing about the suffering and bravery of so many. Agnieszka presented the history clearly and her depth of knowledge was impressive. If I’d had longer in Warsaw I’d have taken more tours with this company.
