Very heavy to see history in its actual site but a must see. Be very careful when leaving names of visitors, I was denied entry into first part of museum as the name on ticket was not deemed same as my passport.. Krakov is beautiful, perfect place for meals and some sight seeing.

Itinerary
This trip starts early the day with a drive to Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp and Krakow. You will have a 3.5 hours guided group tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau with a guide speaking English language. Learn about how it was established by German Nazis on the outskirts of the town Oswiecim in 1940. Discover how, in 1941, the German Nazis established a new camp called Auschwitz II Birkenau. In 1942-1945, approximately 1.5 million people lived and died here. Than you will go to Krakow. Journey will take around 1h20min.
Main Market Square in Krakow, the biggest Medieval old town square in Europe. In the Old Town you can also see Wawel Hill where the Cathedral and the Royal Castle are, the Town Hall Tower, St. Mary’s Basilica, Krakow Barbican and Sukiennice, famously known as the Cloth Hall, thousands of bars and delightful regional restaurants, many historic buildings, and horse-driven cabs. We will stay 3 hours in Krakow. The remaining time is spent on travel.

This tour is one of the best that I have joined in terms of the helpfulness/ responsiveness of the tour operator, smooth end to end execution of the itinerary from hotel pick up to the actual tour , coordination with the guide and driver, and back to hotel. The sequence is good because it starts with the 2 camps, which is emotionally loaded then finishing at Krakow which is grandeous/ beautiful. We have to change a guest a few days prior to the tour and while there was risk that it might not be allowed at the museum, the tour operator was able to negotiate for us which was awesome. A little tip to the tourists, when you have a pitstop going to auschwitz, eat a heavy meal because you will not have a chance to eat when you start the tour. the next meal is dinner already at Krakow. I definitely recommend this tour. plus they have Topnotch /very helpful driver- thank you Mateusz!
Excellent coordination and communication! Transportation was on time and very comfortable! Tour guides were excellent! Thank you for this memorable experience!
This tour was an unforgettable and deeply moving experience. The itinerary included visits to both Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps, followed by some free time to explore and enjoy the beautiful old town centre of Krakow. The historical sites were incredibly powerful and thought-provoking, and there was enough time allocated to fully absorb and reflect on everything. While the tour started very early — with a 3:20 AM pickup from Warsaw — it was necessary to make our allocated museum entry time. We returned around 8:00 PM, making it a very long day overall. However, the van/bus was clean and comfortable throughout the journey. One note: the drivers were polite but did not speak English, so communication was limited during transport. Despite the early start and long travel, I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit these important historical sites from Poland. It’s a long day, but well-organized and absolutely worth it.
What can you say about being in a car for 14 hours? Our guide Magic was entertaining and we talked the entire time. He was a great driver and told us a lot about being a Pole in today's world. Krakow was cool and Aushwitcz was a place to see once in your lifetime. How sad.
Great and knowledgeable driver and guide! The experience was professional and also enjoyable from the beginning to the end. Would recommend this tour to everyone.
Very good tour guide. The driver was also great, well worth it. Highly recommended and would do it again.
Our driver Matheusz was amazing - it was a long journey there and back and he was helpful and a very safe driver
A very well organised day - Krakow and Auschwitz in one day. Very good balance between free time and guided tour time. Agnieszka answered all the questions. Our driver, Maciej, was more than just a driver - by the end of the trip we felt that we were old friends. He gave us lots of historical, cultural and economical insights, as well as shared various practical tips. The Auschwitz part was very informative and of course sad and shocking - but we felt that everyone need to learn about this tragic time in history. Overall, the tour was one of the best things we did in Poland. Having a private car meant we had flexibility in terms of breaks, times etc. Highly recommend!

The driver (Chris) was very professionally. Was punctual and helpful. He also tried to provide insights into the key stops along the way. The only issue was related to the timing. The organizer waited too long to book the tour at Auschwitz and it started at noon. As a result, after 3.5 hours of tour and 2 hours of driving to Krakow, we got to Krakow around 6pm. By then, most of the key places (museums, castles) were closed or closing. I suggest that you ensure that they get the tour at Auschwitz starting at 10am so you can see Krakow by 4pm (when you can actually see the place).
It was a great tour. Maciej was THE BEST DRIVER and he knew everything about Krakow and Auschwitz Birkenau. The experience itself was unique thanks to him!!!
Very moving experience; there were times where you cannot breathe with all the things that happened there...
It was a long day. Felt bad for our driver. But the tour in Auswitz was very good and needed to be heard. Then the trip to Krakow old town was very good. Wish we had a bit more time in Krakow. The day was so long at the camps and without a real rest for a meal, that when we arrived at Krakow, we just wanted to sit and eat something. Nevertheless, found a nice little restaurant and ate dinner (not in the main square) and then enjoyed the walk.
Our driver Majiec was very very good- he explained clearly how the system worked regarding the Auswitchz Birkenau tour plus gave us helpful information for our 3 hour time in Krakov . There is specific schedules and procedures for the actual tour which he explained perfectly so we knew exactly how and when and where we needed to be We were tired hot and hungry after the tour and he happily took us to a Polish restaurant nearby so we could have a delicious early meal before our long drive back to Warsaw. His driving was efficient careful and safe - our day was long - 5.30am start - 22.30pm return The actual tour at Auswitchz Birkenau was extremely well conducted and respectful to the history and to the people who were murdered - I would recommend the tour - but if I knew how long the journey would take from Warsaw I probably would have stayed overnight at Krakov
The tour guide was great. She is from Poland and her grandma went through the concentration camp experience. She knew the story and told it very well. The drive (for the combined Krakow and Auschwitz from Warsaw) is a little too much. Maybe skip Krakow and go just to Auschwitz. Krakow is just another tourist city with a castle—there is nothing special about it. But you should definitely hit Auschwitz.
Really enjoyed our driver and tour guide. Had just a great attitude and made the day much more enjoyable. Also the communication with the company was very good in Organizing special trip ! Highly recommend using this group and if possible ask for “Majik” -i’m sure I spelled his name wrong but phonetically I’m pretty close.
Convienent and well organized day trip to Auschwitz and Krakow with private car and guide. Really enjoyed both. The driver was super making the long drive and day restful.
Lovely day. Krakow was beautiful but not enough time. Auschwitz was well worth a visit. The guide was well informed and organized. It was crowded and our group we were placed with was rather large. Our driver was fantastic and I highly recommend this tour but it is a long day.
It's a memorable trip, and the driver was very friendly, who took care of every detail of the trip, and introduced the history along the way. In addition, the traditional restaurant recommended by the driver was indeed a great choice.
Our driver, Mateusz, picked up at our hotel promptly at 6 am. We had a pleasant drive to and from Krakow and felt safe with our driver. He was very polite and professional. The tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau was very humbling and unsettling as expected. Our tour guide there was knowledgeable. We had to turn in our head sets before going to Birkenau. We couldn’t hear most of what she said once there. Tour was great but highly recommend providing the guide with a small battery powered microphone so she can be heard. Be prepared to walk.
What an incredible day. Our driver Maciej was amazing, the tour guide was very insightful and knowledgeable and we had enough time in both locations. I would highly recommend this.
Excellent experience. Maciej was punctual, very kind and attentive to everything you might need during the tour. Everything was done on time and as agreed.
We had a wonderful time. Dominik was a wonderful driver and great to talk to. He got us everywhere on time and helped arrange a last minute tour guide in Krakow. Communication was great. I highly recommend this tour.
During my trip to Poland I used AB Everest for both the Full-Day Private Guided Tour From Warsaw to Auschwitz and Krakow and an airport transfer. I could not have asked for a better experience, the team here was incredible! From a communications standpoint, they were always accessible, easy to communicate with, and the friendliest team. For pick ups, they were always on time (if not early) and had my name on a card so I could spot them easily. For the long drives - I felt incredibly safe and comfortable. There vehicles were large, spacious, and clean. On my trip it started to snow and I felt very safe and in good hands on the road. Once we got to Auschwitz, I was escorted in to the museum and handed off to the tour so that there was no room for confusion or error. When the tour was over, AB was there and waiting right on time! I loved having free time to roam around in Krakow and when I was ready to head back to Warsaw, AB was ready and waiting to go when I was. I could not have had a better experience - they were so friendly, easy to communicate with and very on top of all aspects of my trip. Thank you for making my trip to Polands so fluid an memorable!
