Kuba is the the best! Knowledgeable, great orator, knew his stuff and led a fast paced and very informative tour. Highly recommend this tour of the darker side of Warszawa. The old bus is a real hoot, better have good kidneys to ride the bumps, lol. There is no better tour! Would give ten stars if I could,

Jacob our guide was so genuinely enthusiastic and informative. I really enjoyed his tour. He gave us a wonderful perspective of the history of Warsaw .
Our guide Jacob was friendly and knowledgeable and make the tour both entertaining and informative. Everything was very clear and well explained and progressing through our stops created a nice and understandable timeline of the events that took places from early 1800 to modern times. The retro busses are also a nice little touch and make for a memorable ride.
The bus had trouble starting several times! It sure did spice up the experience. Sites and explanations were interesting, but i had trouble at times to understand the guide (speaking a bit fast, and he had an accent of course) who was quite friendly nonetheless.
Very informative and interesting. Nice way to start trip in Warsaw.
Very cool tour that shows the gritty history of the Praga District. First, the tour is part on a bus and part walking. The bus is retro with ours specifically from 1971. Small cramped but absolutely awesome because it defines this tours grit. Maks, our guide was awesome. He did not mince words describing how this part of Warsaw used to be and he was a wealth of information. Definitely recommend doing this tour to see a less touristy part of Warsaw.
It was amazing! Tourguide was nice and experianced. Trip was a bit off fun, history and cultural event. I truly recommended and you shoud try it!
Like the tour. Seeing warsaw in another angle. Our guide (Marks) and driver (Adam) had done great job. Marks has provided the context of the location we were; and with some interesting fact behind :)
Really nice guide. I loved how they showed nearly everything.it was about 2-3 hours. So really not long.Overall it was great. I really recommend it.
Great, strongly recommend! It's fun, interesting, the guide was super super nice. Great stories about unknown facts about Warsaw. Fantastic option for families.
So excited, this is my favorite experience in Warsaw, the tutor is so professional and patient on describe history of this historical block
We had a great experience with Maks our Warsaw host. His tour was informative and humorous. Good chance to see the darker side of Warsaw , not often seen by the average tourist. Blue retro bus was very cool. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed my tour and riding in the retro bus. The chocolate tasting was very good as well even in the warm weather, I enjoyed it.
The guide was great, funny and knowledgeable. The experience itself wasn’t that great because of a large group of american tourists that were being very loud and drinking on the bus. We also had to rush through our stops quite a lot, which I assume was in part because of that same group that were late.
This was a fun and unique way to see Praga. Our guide was excellent! We had a typical complainer at the beginning of the tour (there seems to be one in every group) and the guide handled it so well. He made sure it didn’t affect the rest of us and even managed to get the complainer to come around by the end of the tour. Word of advice - do not be disappointed if your group is small and you take a smaller bus. You’re getting a small group tour at a great deal. The smaller group was so much better.
Really fascinating insight into the Praga district of Warsaw. Terrific guide - Maks - brought the whole story to life and so much fun to ride in the blue ‘cucumber’.
We had originally booked a tour of Warsaw in a vintage taxi, but that was cancelled at the last moment and we were offered a spot on this tour instead. We were not disappointed. We saw a portion of Warsaw (the Praga district) that provided a glimpse into what the city was like following WWII during the communist era and the revitalization that now continues. The guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining, and the tour included stops that allowed us to get off the bus for closer inspection. Be aware there is a portion of the tour that involves walking several blocks in order to see sites that couldn’t easily be viewed from the bus, but this was punctuated by a few stops where the guide provided narrative insight into the murals and living conditions of the area. We are very pleased we took this tour.
Very entertaining tour with a lot of interesting facts. We were lucky with the weather which made the tour even more enjoyable
This was a really nice tour. I wouldn’t say it’s a dark side in the traditional sense of but gives an overview of the Praga district. Our guide was fantastic and injected humor where he could and did a good job of explaining how WWII and Communism are still ever present in the rebuilding of Warsaw. The bus was fun to ride on and a slice of history. At one point the battery got cold so some of the guests had to give a little push which made for an extra interesting moment.
Konrad was a really good guide. It was different, able to see an area of Warsaw you may not be able to get to normally. Enjoyable. Not too dark though!
I very highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in the history of Warsaw. This tour goes places no other tour goes to get a feel for the real life of this city from WW2 and beyond.
This was the second tour I had with WPTI1313 during my NY stay in Warsaw. Definitely an emotional tour choice for me, since Cucumber bus was the preferred bus of my childhood in the 70s Romania nd nowadays I am a car passionate. But the real experience of this tour far exceeded my expectations I had- a nice nostalgia ride on a classic bus. The itinerary covers a wide area of the city, Praha, which we explored with very well chosen stops to get amazing shots of the best mural or abandoned buildings of this part of the city. Konrad, whom we had the luck to have for the second time as a tour guide, was literally brilliant and provided us with impressive stories of the hidden gems of Warsaw. A very nice experience to have in Warsaw.
This tour was very interesting and our guide Konrad was excellent. Would recommend. Was good fun going in the old bus and enjoyed all the stops where we got out and explored
A tremendous tour. Took us off the normal tourist areas of Warsaw and gave us a good insight into the struggles of the people of Warsaw. Konrad the guide was excellent, providing some amusing anecdotes during the tour which kept everybody interested and involved. Don't miss it.
Great trip, well worth it Marcin was a very informative guide A different side of warsaw I wouldn't gave seen if it wasn't for this tour
Very nice tour guide. Lot of information. Marcin is a studied historian and knows everything. Great tour. Try it. We drove to Praga. The Wedler chocolate factory was interesting too.
Conrad was a fantastic guide. Funny, entertaining and informative. We loved this tour and highly recommend it.
Cool guide and very interesting insights into the Warszawa-District "Praga" which I wouldn't have visited otherwise I guess. It contributed to a bigger picture of this interesting European city.
I very highly recommend this tour. The guide provided an entertaining and informative look at the history of Warsaw, going off the beaten tourist path to a part of the city that survived the war but has battled neglect ever since. The communist era buses which date the 1980s -- but feel more like the 50s -- added to the unique experience.
Great and informative tour of Prada. Very knowledgeable guide Karol. We got to see lots of corners we would not have experienced otherwise.
Really fun tour of a lesser known part of Warsaw. The bus was a star in its own right! The bounciness of the ‘suspension’ system had us laughing the whole time! And seeing this part of Warsaw was very interesting. Our guide was excellent and we would happily recommend this tour
This tour was so interesting and fun! The Tourguide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I learnt so much about the Dark side of Warsaw and really appreciated the hot chocolate! I enjoyed every location we visited. I'd definitely recommend this.
Our English speaking tour was great fun thanks to the knowledge, experience and humour of our guide Marcin. We got lots of facts and amusing personal anecdotes about life under the iron curtain whilst driving through Warsaw, as well as during the stopping points of the tour. Highly recommended by our group of four from London. Thanks Marcin!
Marcin gave a really insightful, very amusing and entirely original tour of Praga. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you.
A fantastic journey through Warsaw’s Praga district. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny and made the trip memorable. Loved this unique experience!
Must do tour if you are into history! Oliwia knew her stuff and had a great sense of humor. I liked that she had photos of how places looked in the past. Praga is bohemian and cool. We went back in the evening.
Konrad was a great guide! Konrad’s depth of knowledge, combined with his witty sense of humor, made the tour truly exceptional. His insights into Warsaw’s history were impressive, and he effortlessly wove together facts, anecdotes, and lesser-known tidbits. Whether you’re a history buff or simply curious about this remarkable city, Konrad’s passion and expertise will leave you with a newfound appreciation for Warsaw’s past and present. Such a beautiful city with a long, rich history. We really enjoyed our time.
Explore the enchanting Praga District in Warsaw with an exceptional tour led by our guide, Konrad. His insightful commentary on Praga's rich history was delivered with impeccable English proficiency, enhancing our understanding and enjoyment of the tour. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in delving deeper into Warsaw's heritage.
Konrad led a great tour, complete with a drive around the city in an iconic Jelcz bus. His narration was filled with interesting facts delivered with great skill. I highly recommend this tour for an informative and enjoyable experience.
We did the Dark Side Tour and Konrad was quick to point out that while the Praga district used to have a deserved bad reputation, that reputation no longer holds true. Konrad was engaging and funny throughout the tour, and we got to preview the new pedestrian bridge which was interesting. It certainly didn’t open early because of local elections, assuredly not. I was pleasantly surprised we were offered a few places we could get off before returning to Stalin’s Gift, should we wish to. The interior of the bus seemed well maintained. The only complaint, and it’s minor, was that we would have appreciated a few minutes at Koneser. Otherwise a great time, and well worth the trip.
Excellent tour, polite guide. Short but nice trip. The trip started on time and covered a good part of Praga. It is different from usual historical tours.
I really enjoyed this relaxed tour with many interesting facts about Warsaw and Praga district’s history. Konrad was a great guide and a funny guy with many intriguing stories.
Well informative, part paced, well organized trip with many great trivia and anecdotes. Highly recommended this for everybody.
Cool tour of Praga in a small retro van was quite fun. Konrad is a great guide with plenty of information and a good sense of humor. He also cares about the development and future of the area that was toured. The hot chocolate at E. Wedel was incredible .
Excellent trip around Warsaw :) we have seen many interesting places. Our guide was very charismatic and had great knowledge!
Awesoooome! Old Praha made huge impression on me! Great time with friends! Worth to take that tour! Perfect for a weekend tour!
Great trip with additional surprises! :D You can see a lot of old places and discover history that created modern aspects of Warsaw
Amazing! I fully reccommend! Original, interesting, wonderful, exciting. I am impressed of knowledge, return to the past or the world of criminal book. Warsaw tgat I have heart about from my grandfathers. Amazing gift for my best friend for 50. Surprise.
Excellent guide and wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful bus from 70ties. What am I say- the must go during your trip to Warsaw!
Main attraction was the retro bus, which reminds times of my childhood. We went to Praga district and got really nice insights from the guide. Plus really funny anecdotes:)
