First time visiting poland and first time staying in Mercure. The hotel is very close to the centre, so exploring is fun and easy. Plenty of options for transport too. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great view of the city. Nadzieja was very helpful and got me checked in quickly. Also the free drink for skipping the clean was a nice little bonus.
Really enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast area can get pretty busy, especially in the morning, but honestly, the staff handle it really well. But even with a lot of people around everything runs smoothly. The food was really good too, everything fresh and tasty. A special shoutout to one of the ladies working at breakfast - Ms. Natalia. She was super nice, helpful and always smiling, even when it was really busy. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure everyone was having a good experience. The location is also a big plus. It’s right in the city centre, so you can easily walk to most places and don’t really need to use public transport. Overall, a really pleasant stay and definitely a place I’d be happy to come back to.
Mercure grand is a good functional hotel. The rooms are nice though the bathroom door doesn’t close fully and the curtains on the shower are on the other side of the glass! Water fountains are a good feature and generally the service is great. Deducting 1 star for poor check in process. We had arrived early and asked were told by Kamil that we will be told when rooms are ready. Finally after waiting we go at 2:30 pm to rearrange our bags, and we are told ‘oh, by the way your rooms are ready!’ The restaurant service, esp the breakfast is excellent - esp Natalia, Klaudia, Nuslka took great care of us every day during our stay. Location is excellent. Close enough to the parks and the river and close also to the town centre and Zlote Tarasy, with some exceptional restaurants on nearby streets.
Patrycja from concierge was extremely helpful. My husband needed a doctor and she helped to organize it online and even offered for him to use her business phone as he couldn't use his own phone. Joanna was also extremely helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with a specific matter. The room was spacious and clean.
A truly excellent stay at the Mercure Grand Hotel Warsaw. What impressed me most was the outstanding level of service and hospitality from the very first moment. I arrived early in the morning, long before the standard check-in time, and in fact without any advance notice from my side, as there had been a sudden change of plans. Despite this, the staff handled everything smoothly and checked me in immediately without any issues. This was incredibly appreciated and made a huge positive difference after the journey. The hotel itself is also ideally located — very close to the city centre, yet pleasantly tucked away from noisy streets, which made the stay especially comfortable. The rooms are very cosy, well-designed, and have excellent sound insulation, allowing for a really peaceful rest. The whole experience felt smooth, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The staff were polite, efficient, and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly prepared upon arrival. It is rare to see such a high level of customer care and attention to guests’ comfort. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Warsaw.
