The Villas - Bedouin Boutique Resort

This was an experience of a lifetime. I do not say that lightly, as the Bedouin boutique resort balanced luxurious accommodations and an incredibly unique immersive desert tour. We came as a mixed group of different nationalities, ages, genders, and expectations - and everyone felt safe, secure, respected and at home. The Bedouin crew took us through the desert on Toyota trucks on arrival - living out our Mad Max fantasies - and made sure we explored distinct rocky outcrops, native plant (including one that can be used as natural soap!), and rolling sandy hill. At night we were treated to a feast, cooked underground, with overly generous servings of lamb, chicken, rice, vegetables and fresh salads. Before retreating to our luxurious cabins (not those silly domed tents found at other locations) we spent time outside watching the stars and enjoy a well-prepared Hookah. The cabins were spotless and honestly better equipped than some hotel rooms in Amman (not in a derisive way!). In the morning, those of us who didn’t want to sleep in our king beds, went out for a sunrise tour on camelback. I will be sure to add photos shortly and can’t recommend this place enough - seriously above all others!

Me and my family were traveling in Jordan in May 2026 and stayed at The Villas - Bedouin Boutique Resort. Amazing experience! 7-8 villas in total, very cozy. We stayed in the Wadi Rum Villa at the front of the camp, view was amazing. The Villa was very beautifully decorated, furnished with A/C, sitting area. The bathroom was amazing for a camp located deep in the desert. The meals were very good, delicious. Marwan and his staff is very attentive and try to accommodate you with reasonable requests. The staff and ambiance of this camp heighten our Wadi Rum experience.

The camp exceeded my expectations in every way. from the hospitality and cleanliness to the food and desert activities. The staff made us feel at home, and the sunset and stargazing views were unforgettable. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend this camp to anyone visiting Jordan.

This is THE place to stay in Wadi Rum. I did a lot of research before booking and it was so hard to choose as so many places had good reviews but do yourself a favor and just book this one. The team that runs The Villas is so lovely- they really want you to enjoy your stay. You can tell by looking around that so much care was taken when putting this place together and so much thought was put into the visitor experience. The people were lovely, the food was so good, and the amenities were unbeatable. We felt so safe, welcome, and awed during an amazing two night stay.
