This was a fun and informative tour and a great way to spend a Friday evening. Lexy was very interesting to listen to. She is very knowledgeable about the buildings at which we stopped and she spoke about, as well as the history of Colonial Williamsburg. There were several young girls on the tour who asked a lot of questions and wanted to talk to her a lot. She was very patient and interacted very well with them.

Did our forefathers really drink from his skull? Stand right where Grace Sherwood, the most famous witch, is often seen during mock trials in the Capitol and hear of her fate, finally pardoned by Gov. Tim Kean after centuries of being called the Witch of Pungo. Learn of Anne Bonny and Mary Reed (a woman posing as Mark Reed) who were aboard Calico Jack's ship and fought like men. Top it all off by going to the Jones Graveyard, where Ida Jones still haunts the graves today, in the late-night hours.

Very engaging! Enjoyed all the stories about the past and historical events that happened here ay Williamsburg. The tour was very engaging and you did good with the prompts.
The tour was just the right length. Definitely family friendly. Gracie did an amazing job.
Interesting tour of haunted history in Williamsburg-tour guide Gracie was very engaging. It was cold but we enjoyed.
Taking the ghost tour was a great way to see Williamsburg at night! Lexi made the tour fun & interesting with spooky stories! 👻
It was very fun and entertaining, our tour guide was so awesome. Just be sure to look at the East and West part of the street address, we accidentally went to the West but they called us and helped us find the correct location.
Our guide Michael was well versed in the history of the residents (spirits) of Williamsburg with some good puns included!
This evening tour was a lighthearted and fun trip into the macabre and sometimes ghoulish events in eighteenth century Williamsburg. Our guide made the tour quite enjoyable.
It was informative, engaging, captivating, and full of humor. Mike was an awesome guide, ready with lots of stories and tidbits about the history of the area and the characters that still, supposedly, inhabit the houses. Great experience, we would highly recommend it.
We had A Lot of fun with our guide Gracie! We learned so much about colonial Williamsburg and got A Lot of “interesting “ pics!! I was very thankful it wasn’t hard to keep up with the group, I have a hard time walking fast. I was able to keep up and the whole group had a lot of fun! You can’t go wrong with doing this!!
Make sure you wear good walking shoes and be careful of the cobble stones and uneven surfaces. Enjoy the stories told
Very informative tour. Some tongue in cheek things. Guide was very patient it was 100 degrees humidity and very uncomfortable.
Not at all what is advertised. No costumes like the photos show. No lanterns. Badly organized. Too much pirate drama. Ghost anecdotes not all that interesting. This was aimed at children far more than for paying adults. The couple who ran it were very nice but it just wasn't what I signed up for. Should have done the one with the actual paranormal hunter. We saw that tour as we walked away from this one after 45 minutes. It looked very interesting.
Good guide very knowledgeable. Unfortunately weather was too unbearable ie hot and humid. We were unable to finish last 20 minutes of tour.
This was an informative tour. He talked about myths, legends & history of Williamsburg while making sure to include about ghosts, witches and pirates. It wasnt too scary for kids but did include a lot of standing & walking. It started to rain during our tour but we agreed to still continue and was glad it stopped. The tour guide was great, very animated & knowledgeable. It was well worth the time & money.
Lexington was very nice and informative on our walk! She was very animated when she tells her stories! I like her historical information aswell. I didn't see any ghosts but I never do!!
It was fun. Michael was informative and entertaining.
Great experience! Gracie and her pirate were the best guides we’ve had so far! :)
This tour was really fun! Our group came upon the tour last minute as it was waiting to begin. We booked and it was well well worth the $20! The tour guide Gracie made everyone take part in a fun way (not pushy) and we got a lot of steps in that’s for sure. We enjoyed it and we recommend it as a great way to learn a little history, laugh and meet people from all over.
Mike is a great guide. He’s very entertaining, friendly, and accommodating. He was enthusiastic, funny and knowledgeable about Williamsburg history. It was a great combination of a haunted tour, combined with pirate tales, witch tales and ghosts. I loved walking around after dark. Will definitely recommend and will do this again next time we visit.
We had a great experience with michael. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and loved to hear about the Peyton house. We got lots of great pictures and it was a wonderful experience.
We really enjoyed Mike and his shared knowledge and personality. He was easy to hear and understand (I wear hearing aids and usually have a hard time hearing guides). It was a little cooler to do this in the evening, but harder to take pictures once the sun went down. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a guided tour.
Excellent walking tour with lots of interesting facts about the local residents from colonial times. Plenty of opportunities for ghost sightings too! Really enjoyed Lexi’s tour.
Really great family tour. Well worth it
Lisa was so sweet & such a great story teller - I could listen to her for hours! She was very knowledgeable and you can tell loves telling the tales of old!
It was very enlightening and portrayed the history of Williamsburg and the experiences of the former inhabitants of the historic houses.
It's a fun way to integrate ghost stories with history.
Guide Mike was informative, very pleasant & entertaining. Fascinating tidbits of colonial history & various settlers. Right amount of time in each location. No interior visits inside houses, which we had expected
Our tour guide, Grace, didnt dress in colonial clothing. She spoke SO fast and jumped from crazy story to crazy story. She seemed to have messed up dates and times and acted like a crazy person half the time... I feel like we didnt learn much and just wanted to leave half way through. Even my two girls didn't understand what she was saying most of the time. Pretty disappointed.
The Witches, ghosts, and pirates tour was great! It was about 2 hours of stories (with audience participation) amd history about events in Colonial Williamsburg. Gracie was a wonderful guide!
Gracie was awesome!! She made the tour interactive and we all felt a part of the history!! We learned so much and had a great time!!
Gracie was great. Engaging and interesting story telling and she did a great job interacting with the full group
This is completely outside we thought we would be going inside buildings our witch and pirate were very engaging they interacted with everyone
What a fun, educational, and tantalizing experience with the expert guidance of historian, Gracie and Mr. Pirate, we laughed, we wondered, got goosebumps and chills. The warm evening for March made it enjoyable and my pictures have some items of interest… incredible walking these historical streets in the uncrowded evening. Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience!!!
This tour was so fun! Lexi was engaging and knowledgable. We loved learning the spooky history of Williamsburg!
Michael was a great storyteller and very knowledgeable. The tour lasted about 1.5 hrs and hit all the cool spots. Our grandson (10) is still talking about it but had no trouble sleeping. 1-2 miles of walking. Wear comfortable shoes.
Tour was very informative and energetic. Lexi kept it going and held everyone’s attention. She cared about everyone and made sure we walked carefully on the cobble stones. Excellent guide!
Lexy was great! She's such an amazing storyteller and has such fun energy. We loved the stories she brought. They were so fun
Lexi was an excellent, knowledgeable, passionate guide. My 2 daughters were very interested in everything she had to share and really enjoyed the tour despite it being a cold evening!
A nice little walk around the historic part of town. Our tour guide Lexi was kind and knowledgeable!
What a joke. We weren't really taking this seriously to begin with because afterall, it was just a silly "ghost" tour. But all we did was walk around public streets looking at buildings that supposedly were haunted while the tour guide showed us blurry pictures on her phone that she "swore" were real. I was embarrassed to be there. Oh, and she used the most fake Cockney accent the whole time for some reason.
Gracie was great! She had so much energy and her knowledge was exceptional! Gracie included us all in the tour, as she had us be the characters in her stories. The other people in my group were a lot of fun too!hank you!
Super tour, and we SAW ghost. I know I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see it in person. Our guide told us to keep taking pictures of everything with the flash and we did, and as we were walking away from one of the taverns, we looked at the picture that we had just taken and saw what looked like face is staring back at us. It was so so good, creepy but good. I would definitely do this to tour again.
guide funand knowledgeable,,............................... .........................................
For the ghosts tour, our guide "Gracie" made it feel truly haunting. She really created atmosphere along on the streets of Williamsburg alone at night. Not too scary for kids. The tour is all outdoor so dress appropriately. It was pretty cold the night we went, but once the stories started, we never felt it. We were too enthralled. If tales of ghosts and pirates are your interest, this was great!
Michael was very kind and knowledgable. Our grandson, Kyle was so excited to get the emf detector. We had a wonderful time.
Our tour guide "Gracie the Witch" was so entertaining. Not only did she teach us all about the history of Williamsburg and its "dead", but she made it very interactive and animated. A fun night!
Amazing experience! Everything was very immersive and let us know details, answer all the question!!
It was fun to hear the spooky stories of Williamsburg. Our tour guide, Lexi, was so cute and nice. She even walked us back to our car because we couldn't find our way back. We had a really good time.
I recommend going on this tour. Christie was in character as soon as we started, and she was entertaining. She walked us in a good pace and kept us moving. She shared so many, maybe too many, stories. It was hard to keep it all straight, but the overall theme of the ghostiness of Williamsburg came through. I would recommend dressing for the weather, especially wearing comfortable shoes as the tour took us far away from our cars.
