Heather was very informative and funny...did an excellent job! I think the description of the tour has to be changed with the info of how long the tour is and the amount of walking necessary. I was under the impression it was a 90 min tour...not 3 hours.

Randy was extremely pleasant and told a wonderful story about the parkway murders that had just the day before been solved!
Tour guide was very fun kept us engaged even though it was a bit rainy was definitely worth it. Only thing wish we had a bit of choice for drinks the beer we got at second location was not great a lot of people left it
Be ready for some fun and laughter. Stories were entertaining and our guide was great. At our last pub stop we sat with four other tour guests. We continued to trade stories and legends from our home towns. Enjoying each other’s company and laughter was in abundance. So enjoy the tour and get to know the people you meet along the way.
Heather was a fantastic tour guide. It was very entertaining and not repetitive to the other ghost tour we did in Williamsburg. We do recommend!
Lots of walking with no benches or seating at the stops. Extended periods of standing - 30 plus minutes each stop. He had some good stories but they were very convoluted and ran together quite a bit. We had trouble remembering more than a few the next day. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy. We enjoyed the two stops in addition to the first place. The 3 drinks were full sized and included, which was nice. The pub meeting place was really busy on a Friday evening at 7, but we found him waiting outside the front door.
Heather was an excellent tour guide. She was very personable and very knowledgeable on the history of Williamsburg…my family and I really enjoyed the tour…thank you for the memorable experience.
We had a great time on our murder tour. Our guide, Randy, was very knowledgeable and is a wonderful storyteller. He had the whole crowd involved in the stories and made the tour very enjoyable and interesting. The pubs we visited were fun and the drinks were very good. We highly recommend!
Our tour guide was Heather and she was awesome! She was funny and our group had a blast on this tour. Highly recommend the tour and hope Heather is your guide!
We had an amazing time on the Murder & Pub Tour with Randy as our guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the stories to life with just the right mix of humor and suspense. His energy kept the group entertained the whole night, and he made sure everyone felt included and had a great time. The balance of fascinating true crime history and fun pub stops made it the perfect evening. If you get the chance, definitely ask for Randy—you won’t be disappointed!
Tour guide was a no show. Supposedly tour was cancelled no one bothered to tell us. Apparently August is NOT the month to come to Williamsburg. This is the second tour we signed up for that got cancelled.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and energetic. He emphatically shared several stories of murder and history with a theatrical twist. It is clear that our guide enjoys his job which made it so much more enjoyable for us.
Boringly dull. A lot more walking than expected. This is supposed to be a murder tour and only 3 murders were revealed. Had some interesting aspects of history but not enough for the cost. We crossed paths with two other ongoing tours and they were much more interesting than this one. The other tours were about half the price too.
I brought my mom to Colonial Williamsburg for her 70th birthday, and the first thing she did was book a Murder Tour and Pub Crawl, much to my surprise. We had a blast. Heather was our guide and she was incredible. She was hilarious, informative, and really made the experience great. We also happened to run into the evening Fife and Drum March that wasn't part of the tour, but also very cool. Had drinks at Williamsburg Winery Tasting Room, The Hound's Tale, and Precarious Beer Project. All of the drinks were great. Truly a blast, and would highly recommend to anyone.
Heather is a great story teller. The dark night added to her murder tales. I enjoyed the interaction with the other couples on the tour.
Just took the murder tour tonight & had a great time. Heather was fantastic! She was fun, informative, and passionate. We had great conversation throughout the tour and after. Highly recommended!
Heather was AMAZING! She was so hilarious and informative. Would go again just to have her as our tour guide. (Can we have her be the tour guide for all the tours in the city? lol ) My husband almost backed out last minute, but I’m so glad I was able to change his mind. The drinks were pretty good, the only one I didn’t like was the beer, but that’s because I’m not a beer person. Overall great variety to try, with wine, cocktail, and beer. Was happy that we had time at each bar to grab another drink to try and be able to relax and enjoy it.
It was so much fun and we learned a lot! The establishments on the tour were very nice as well. Randy is awesome!
Underwhelming. The guide was very nice but didn’t know how to read the audience. “Pub” stops were fine but all in all expected more.
Tour guide, Heather, was awesome! Kudos to her! Her "script" was fun, informative, revealing, and chilling. And Heather is delightful. Enjoyed the variety of beverages - wine, beer, and a rum punch - but since we were limited to the proprietors' choice, not all the selections were appealing. We were disappointed in 2 of the 3 beverage stops. With so many local establishments we couldn't believe the final stop was Mellow Mushroom, a chain that's in many locales including our city of residence and which we never patronize. The tour would be better if all 3 stops were local businesses, unique to Williamsburg with unique offerings. Despite that shortcoming I would recommend since the point of the tour was to learn about history and murder in Williamsburg - drinks were a perk.
A fun friends night out! Our guide Randy was great with telling us stories of Murder. We stopped at some lovely local spots for drinks. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a something different to do on a parents night out.
We really enjoyed this tour! The stories were fun and unique, and I really liked learning about some of the city's history. The drinks were good, and it was nice to take some breaks in between to chat with the group. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving this tour a try if you're in the area.
What an incredible experience! I recently went on the Murder Tour and Pub Crawl with four friends, and it was an absolute blast! From start to finish, the night was filled with fascinating stories and just the right amount of spookiness to keep us intrigued. Stopping at local pubs in between ghostly stories added a unique twist and gave us time to enjoy the Williamsburg nightlife. Our guide was knowledgeable about Williamsburg's dark history and engaging and entertaining, making the experience fun for everyone in our group.
We did this tour because it sounded fun & we love Williamsburg. Our guide, Randy, was clear and fun. There were 5 in our group and we all agreed it was very interesting. Stopping for the included drinks was a great idea & being 3 different drinks was perfect & a nice break to sit and socialize in between the stories.
Randy was great! It is a long tour with 3 stops for “murder drinks”. The drinks are standard, you don’t get to choose. Overall it was a great experience, fun group and excellent guide.
My girlfriend and I wanted to try something new and had a great time. Heather was fun, personable, and knowledgeable. Learned a little history and met some great people on the tour.
We had a great time on this tour! Lots of fun stories and area facts and we saw a little bit of the area that we hadn’t yet explored. Our guide was funny, informative, and friendly. It was a wonderful experience getting to socialize with him and the other members of our group!
We had a great time on the pub crawl with Heather. She was an amazing story teller! Highly recommend. 10/10. Even in the crazy heat!
My husband and I thought this would be a fun date night and we enjoyed ourselves. We walked around parts of CW with weird, funny, and even gross stories about the previous residents and visitors. Heather was a great tour guide. She was attentive to the various needs of the people in our group and she was open and respectful and honest.
My wife and I really enjoyed our weekend trip. Heather was an awesome tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the area!! It was a fun adventure.
Our guide Heather had amazing energy and knowledge. We enjoyed the pubs that were chosen. Our whole family had a great time visiting from California. We learned a lot about the colonial area and had some good laughs.
