My friend and I decided to take the Dead of Night Ghost Tour with Paranormal Gear in Williamsburg, and let me tell you, we had a GREAT time‼️ Our tour guide was absolutely wonderful so sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable about the history and stories behind each location we visited. You could tell she genuinely enjoyed what she was doing, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable! Getting to use the paranormal equipment was such a fun and exciting part of the tour! It was fascinating to see how the equipment reacted at some of the places we stopped, which added an extra thrill to the experience. My friend and I truly enjoyed every moment of the tour, and our guides made the night that much more special. It was a wonderful mix of history, mystery, and paranormal fun! Our guide Popeye was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and had some great stories for the group.

Popeye was our tour guy & he was very knowledgeable and engaging. We had our 14 year old with us and he always let her use the equipment, which made her so happy. I appreciated that-since she was the one who wanted to go on this tour.

Be prepared to walk but tour is great. Got to use ghost hunting equipment. Popye our guide did a great job. Good stories and sites we visited were spooky.

We brought a friend's bachelor party to a tour last Friday and it was the perfect spooky night! Popeye was our tour guide and he gave us an unforgettable experience. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the stories and lore of Colonial Williamsburg, he was extremely respectful and professional. Handling tricky situations with ease and consideration, he was a pro!

The experience on this tour was fantastic. Our guide, Popeye was also fantastic, entertaining, and knowlegeable. It down poured during our tour but even with the rain the entire group had a great time and we made the best out of the situation. Popeye made the tour enjoyable despite the rain and to be honest I think the rain enhanced the experience. We were able to still use the equipment and had many experiences. Highly recommend this tour especially with Popeye as your guide.

Very knowledgeable guide with great stories and use of equipment such as thermal cameras and rem pods. Very patient with the children we had with us both with answering questions and showing them how to use the equipment. I would highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys a the paranormal

Great tour and the 9-11PM timeslot just perfect for summer evening. Popeye was a terrific host- informitive, fun and patient. For those of us with a real interest in history and the paranormal- this is a unique experience. Wish there was an age restriction to tour as anyone under 15 years old can bea distraction to the group. Cant fault tour for that but parents. Nevertheless, would do again.

It was decent but not good. Guide was not in theme as mentioned. Good amount of information but nothing special unfortunately. Decent for the price but I was expecting more

Denny did not seem very enthusiastic about his tour, it may have been the heat but if I were to choose another ghost tour I would choose the one associated with the official colonial Williamsburg group. They were more entertaining and in character. But to be fair, this was advertised as a more paranormal experience, and not a "historic Ghost tour". So I may have just picked the wrong one.

We had a great time. Even my 15 year old enjoyed it. We had several paranormal experiences, including knocking when no one was near. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It is definitely worth it!

We had a fun and informative Ghost tour with Denny and Sarah last night. We were able to communicate with several Spirits through various means! Thank you again for a great experience!

Worst tour ever! The guide seemed to be making stuff up as she went. Tour description indicates learning about haunted history - nope. When asked questions about Colonial Williamsburg's buildings and people, the guide seemed to not know much about the place. And the "paranormal equipment" was a complete joke. Don't waste your money on this tour.

Very nice people but just felt lacking from description, lots of stories re his own paranormal experiences but we really didn’t experience anything, lots of standing around listening to guide. Nice evening so enjoyed being outside.

The history and structures were very interesting. The guides were nice, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The ghosts were not. ( We didn’t expect a ton of activity) Sara needed to talk just a little louder.

Excellent experience Denny and Sarah were great. Our tour had to change meeting area, we were well informed ahead of time. Several people were able to get evidence. The interactive equipment was interesting. Would recommend!

Great experience and a lot of fun. Lisa even insisted I take her coat because I arrived a little unprepared for the cold. If there is anything to improve, it would be to add a little to the stories. For instance, the last house we visited has a history of 30+ people having died from unnatural causes, it would have been great to know what they died off. The same for the two boys in the tavern - sad that they died but how. It adds to the intrigue and history.

Denny was phenomenal with his stories and knowledge of both the town history and paranormal experiences. I’ve been on a few tours similar but how he engaged the crowd so well and walk the fine line between historical and paranormal storytelling perfectly was very impressive. His tools are also good and up to date for the ghost hunting that really help immerse you into the activity. Overall great experience, definitely worth it and would go again any time I’m back in Williamsburg

It was a very interesting tour. Denny was knowledgeable. The various pieces of paranormal equipment made it much more interesting.

I didn't see any spirits but we did here one and our guide had a flair set up that was turning on and off when asked.

His knowledge of the area, combined with his experience as a paranormal investigator, led to an amazing experience. Our guide Denny was great! He told stories, used the paranormal equipment and let us use it too. That part was great! Now for the annoying part, there were three kids probably 14-15 years old that were loud, annoying, kept asking stupid questions. There were many people that were annoyed by them. This should be an adult tour or if under 18 they should have to be supervised. They were ruining the experience for some of us.

Denny was an excellent guide! He made the tour fun and very informative. We definitely experienced some activity and learned a lot about haunted Williamsburg sites.

Best ghost tour we have done and we have done many. Adding paranormal tools to the mix while telling ghostly stories was a blast. Denny was great.

Denny, our guide, was phenomenal! He knew the stories and the area well. He has had first hand experiences with energy. We witnessed communication through spirit box and rods. I will admit that I got goosebumps a few times. You will not regret this excursion.

Was okay, but regret spending the money on this particular tour. Just not much excitement from the start. Stories were okay, but never really felt engaged or like we might experience any paranormal phenomena.

The guide combined his knowledge of centuries of Williamsburg history with a clear knowledge of paranormal hunting techniques. Be prepared for possibilities. You will find yourself involved immediately. I enjoyed the tour so much that I booked it again the next night! It did not disappoint.
