Carpets on floors are getting dated and a little on the dirty side on some floors. Location is convenient. Parking is inside also and all you need to do is take an elevator to lobby. May need to plan ahead for parking between 5-8 because it fills up due to people going to dinner at other local restaurants. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center feels much more like a business and conference hotel than a beachfront vacation property, which honestly worked well for the event I was attending. The lobby makes a strong first impression too. You walk in and there’s this big open foyer area that immediately gives the hotel a more polished atmosphere compared to a standard roadside hotel setup. I was there for an author event, and the conference spaces handled the crowds really well. The rooms were large enough for signings, talks, and gatherings without everybody feeling packed together shoulder to shoulder. As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I end up spending a surprising amount of time around conference hotels and convention spaces, and you start noticing pretty quickly when a property is actually set up to support events efficiently. One detail I appreciated was how helpful the staff was during load-in and setup. They helped me move books using a bellman cart, and everyone I dealt with was professional and easy to work with the whole weekend. There’s also a good restaurant on-site along with a smaller coffee and pastry area, which made it easy to stay inside the hotel once the event schedule got busy. Funny enough, while working later on the Maui Desire Romance Series, I realized hotel lobbies and conference atmospheres quietly work their way into scenes more often than I originally thought. Really solid business-class hotel with strong event support and a professional atmosphere. I’d absolutely stay here again.
Great staff. Great location. Above average restaurant. This review is really 4.5. Hotel is definitely above a mid-level business hotel but not top-tier luxury. Staff was friendly and highly competent whether Front Desk, restaurant, or building engineer. From a few decades of business travel, easy to recognize strong management that really cares about satisfied guests. For a concert at the Sandler Center, the location is unparalleled. Just walk across a quiet street. No stress from hordes of cars after a concert. The Interlude restaurant deserves kudos as the kitchen and the staff cares about happy diners. Rooms are comfortably larger than the average 300 square feet. The three elevators are pleasingly fast. The adjoining parking garage is free though a bit tight for full-size pickups and SUVs.
I had a really good experience staying at The Westin. From the moment I walked in, the lobby felt clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and professional, and check-in was quick and smooth, which I appreciated. The room itself was super comfortable. The bed definitely lived up to the hype—it was soft but still supportive, and I got great sleep every night. Everything was clean, and the room had a calm, relaxing vibe. I also liked how quiet it was, even at night. One thing that stood out was how well-maintained everything felt, from the hallways to the amenities. The gym and common areas were nice, and the overall atmosphere felt upscale without being too much. If I had to mention anything small, it would just be that prices can be a little high, but honestly, you get what you pay for. Overall, I’d definitely recommend The Westin if you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, and relaxing place to stay. I’d come back for sure.
They may not have had a travel toothbrush when I forgot one for my daughter but the service at the front desk by Shaun more than made up for it. He was incredibly accommodating my request to turn my king room into a pair of comfortable beds for my daughter and I. Very calming and welcoming hotel from the decor to the sleep oils they provide in the room. Free parking. Loving this place. Nit pick through. It's 2026. Gotta have some EV chargers for your guests especially being a car travel destination. I'm looking past that though thanks for the customer experience I got from my man Shaun.
