The Westin Richmond

Everything was great! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Kimbolyn at the check-in desk was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and had such a great attitude. Miss Barbara was also so kind and generous, and she kept such a great conversation going. Both of them made the experience even better and really made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again!

We normally stay at the Marriott at Short Pump but decided to give this hotel a try. We were in town to move our daughter into VCU. The hotel and staff were wonderful. The beds were amazing! The only problem we had was the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was so much hair on the floor and shower. We called to let the desk know and they sent someone up. The even gross part was she only used this extended lint roller to pick up the hair!!!!! What about cleaning the shower????? So I ended up going to Walmart and getting something to clean the shower. So, that was a disappointment but other than that, we really enjoyed the stay.

Rating should definitely be higher than it currently is. Super clean hotel. Very comfy beds. Lovely and modern decor. Great for business trips. Quiet. Check in lady on 06/30/26 in the evening was phenomenal; so kind and pleasant. Check out lady on 07/01/26. Was not so pleasant; could have done with a smile and a have a nice day or show would you like your receipt instead of you can put your card on the counter and thats it.

The rooms and hotel were overall pretty clean and nice. I don't have any major complaints aside from the fact the walls are apparently made of cardboard. Super loud hotel, for a place that prides itself on getting a good night sleep, having no sound insulation is unacceptable. The location is fine, near scotts addition, but somewhat out of the way from downtown, just keep that in mind. Service was great
