We stayed here for one night to attend a conference. We had misplaced our reservation, but the clerk at the front was extremely kind and helpful, and was able to confirm our room at the conference rate. They also provided a nice goodie bag with water, chips, and a very delicious cookie.
The room was very nice (though a little dark). Everything was extremely clean. The room was quiet, the beds quite comfortable. The view was merely a parking lot, but I didn't come here for the view. The location was excellent, and easy to get around town.
Stayed for 2 days, the first room we were placed, the only light in the bathroom didnt work at all so they moved us to a different room with no issue. The second room the shower floor was so disgustingly dirty I had to go to the store to get bleach and a magic eraser to scrub it. The amount of crud that came up was astonishing considering the price for a room a night. Checkout rolls around and we Checkout, we was sitting in the lobby waiting for our ride to pick us up when the I'm assuming manager comes out of her office and VERY RUDELY proceeds to tell us we need to leave the property and that our room wasnt even in our name when that was far from the truth and then proceeded to call the cops on us as we was walking away! I do not recommend spening your hard earned money at this hotel not only for the rudeness but the cleanliness for the price is no where near worth it. Theres much cleaner and nicer hilton hotels in the area that are far better and cheaper.
Love this hotel. It’s in a perfect location and the staff is amazing! Of note- the front desk team super efficient and profession. But…. JOEY! Joey is the restaurant one person for a busy night while also tending bar. I was concerned when o sat down- but he crushed it. Super positive and happy to serve all of us. He stayed open as long as people kept coming in. Great asset to your team!
We were greeted by Rebecca upon entering the hotel, very friendly, helpful and informative. She offered my spouse and I one of the warm baked cookies with a bottle of water ( don't skip the cookies, they are the Best). The room was very clean, bed was super comfortable, quiet at night, the pool was a perfect temperature. Bathroom was clean with enough soft fluffy towels for a couple. Parking was also very convenient. I Highly recommend the Double Tree Hilton Harrisonburg VA! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have stayed at other Double Tree Hiltons and this one is the Best by far!
There was a beetle in the sheets, also a hair tie and dirty sock, the halls were not vacuumed. Also the stairwell smelt like cigarettes. The elevators were "broken" I think they were shut off because of a youth girls basketball tournament that had blocked out a large number of rooms, great when you arrive at 130 am and have to shuffle up 3 flights of stairs with luggage. Next time I'll sleep in my car at the Buc-ees 20 mins up the road. Great location close to lots of things, and considering how close to the highway you couldn't hear cars from the room.
