The staff here is SO GOOD. Night desk attendant @ 9pm on Jul 29 was so friendly, even helping me out with utensils for an Uber Eats order that came without them. Bartender the previous night, younger man with shaggy hair, was way nicer than the average 'tender, too. Rooms seem kinda average for a 4 star hotel but the bed is very comfortable and temperature control is EXCELLENT.
We had a wonderful stay at the Archer Hotel in Old Town Alexandria. The location is excellent—within walking distance of King Street, great restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The hotel has a charming atmosphere and offers a great balance of comfort and convenience. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Alexandria.
I was in DC for work and stayed at this wonderful property. Convenient to great shops and food in old town while also a 5 min walk to the metro to get anywhere in the city. Shoutout to the night manager Robnick (apologies for spelling) for helping assist late one night. I’ll absolutely be staying here next time I’m in the DC area and so should you.
Truly a lovely property from top to bottom. Booked the rain shower king room and it was magical. Shower was big enough for a basketball team!!! Bartending staff was great. Loved my time in Alexandria and this hotel was very much a reason why.
Absolutely 5 stars! By far the best hotel experience I have ever had. Beautiful hotel, the front desk staff were so kind and helpful. The Valet’s were quick and accommodating, especially after I realized I left my phone in the car after it was parked. We were there 5 nights and had 6 meals at Home Grown and 2 at AKB. The service we received at both was outstanding and the food was equally as good. Excellent location. On King street which is known for their shops, restaurants and a great farmers market on Saturdays. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won’t regret it!
