We highly recommend this Ebike tour in Vigo. The bikes were well maintained, easy to use, and comfortable. The tour guide was highly knowledgeable about the history of Vigo and wove stories about his family history into the commentary. It was heartwarming to hear how passionate he is about his home. He was very conscious as he led us through the area; I always felt safe! Overall outstanding excursion!

Javi was lovely from start to finish. I hired an ebike and also booked a tour, the tour got postponed til the next day so he let me have the bike free for another day until the tour. This is real Customer Service. He was extremely professional yet friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. I loved hearing about his families’s immigrant history. The pace was fine and he was always checking in to see that I was okay, because there were three guys and me I appreciate his energy and personality and wish him well for the future.
Our guide Javi was great! A local resident with a family history in Vigo, his knowledge of the culture and history we’re over the top! We made several stops in parks and beaches and waterfront locations for photo opportunities. He reached out a few days before the excursion via WhatsApp to assure us that he would be picking us up at the port. Safety was number one on this tour. They took us back to their shop provided helmets, made sure everyone was comfortable on the bikes and understood how to use them. He kept a close eye on all of us during the tour with another guide at the back keeping everyone together. We are 69 and 71 years old with some experience with bike tours. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it!
If you are on a cruise and looking for a good experience. Take this bike tour. This is a family owned business. Very accommodating and informative of the city.
This tour operator was very accommodating and kind. He did everything to help us. He even organized a ride from our cruise ship
Great e-bike tour Javi our tour guide and owner was excellent! We got picked up right at the cruise port! We road along the coast and through the city, lots of great stories were shared ! We were a large group but we felt safe and well taken care of the whole way. Highly recommend!!
Great e-bike tour Javi was excellent! We got picked up right at the cruise port! Javi shared great stories along the way We were a large group but we felt safe and well taken care of the whole way. Highly recommend!!
The trip was pretty easy to follow and gave us a good view of the city and the beaches. Javi was informative on the local fishing history of the community and was fun to talk to. The trip worked out very well for us.
Javier was great! He led us on a terrific tour of the area. He was very knowledgeable and attentive to our group of 6. Highly recommend this tour.
This was a fun loop around the city center and along the ocean. They stopped for a bathroom break at a beautiful beach. BRING TOILET TISSUE! The bathroom was out of tissue. They have nice bikes and drink holders are on most of the bikes. We saw much more than you could on a bus, plus you can exercise the fat from the all-you-can-eat buffet on the cruise. They were well informed and kept us together and entertained. I think there were 14 on our tour.
Fantastic tour! Javier runs an outstanding operation with his father. His business has grown to over 15 bikes now. He loves his city so much and you can see it in the way he narrates his tours. I suffered a minor injury during our tour and he quickly stopped and bandaged my wound. We toured all over the city; most of which was on beautiful bike lanes. The equipment is high quality. We had a few minutes to get accustomed to the bikes before heading out. We highly recommend this tour.
Great! Guide met us right in front of cruise terminal! (Statue of Man with Briefcase). They took group of 10 to shop. We got bikes, bottle of water was provided and got going. Great tour with lots of history of Vigo. Bikes were in great condition and the electric assist was appreciated on a few hills. Mostly flat ride overall. We hit all the highlights. We walked back to cruise terminal after tour and stopped for drinks at a café. Definitely easy and would highly recommend!!
Had a great time! The tour guides (both father & son) were the perfect guide around the city, providing excellent information and ensuring everyone was safe.
The biking tour was excellent the tour guide was patient with those who were new to using an e bike.
Nice 14 mile loop, easy ride very, personable guide Javi was amazing the family loved it. I highly recommend
When you are lucky enough to be given a tour by someone that is as passionate about their city as Javi, it’s bound to be amazing! We were able to see so much of Vigo because of this tour and enjoyed every minute of it!
We had a wonderful bike tour. Javier and Luis were excellent tour guides. They kept us safe and took us to so many interesting and beautiful places. We got a good taste of beautiful Vigo. We could understand their speaking and they were personable and so friendly. I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bike Vigo — An Unexpected Highlight of My Camino If you’re passing through Vigo and need a bike rental, look no further than Bike Vigo. The e-bike I rented was top-of-the-line and exceptionally comfortable, exactly what my tired, injured feet needed to continue my Camino without missing a single step of the journey. Two days on that bike felt like a gift. But what sets Bike Vigo apart isn’t just the quality of the equipment — it’s Javi himself. Courteous, warm, and genuinely invested in his clients, he took the time to share hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path recommendations that I never would have discovered on my own. You can tell immediately that this isn’t just a business transaction for him — he takes real pride in making sure you leave with more than you came for. In a world where good service is increasingly rare, Javi is a reminder of what it looks like when someone truly cares. Bike Vigo gets my highest recommendation — a wonderful person running a wonderful business. Buen Camino, Javi — and thank you! 🚴
Easy ride that shows Vigo. Tour guide was friendly and explained Vigo excellently. Would recommend tour
Javi is a wonderful guide! The tour was a great way to see parts of the city, old town, and the waterfront. It was a full 3-hour experience. We stopped several times along the way and Javi provided engaging historical talks, often with a connection to his parents and grandparents. The e-bikes were like new and worked well. Overall great way to see Vigo up close! Thank you Javi! K&L
What a great day! Javi was excellent. A great communicator and guide. Very fun tour and informational to boot. Bikes were really good and easy to ride. The ride itself was easy, beautiful and fun!!
A very good tour with Javi telling us lots about Vigo’s history & Galicia and his own family’s story. Although it was a bit rainy and cold we saw some lovely views of the beaches and islands. The e-bikes are excellent and easy to pedal up the hills. There are not many cyclists in Vigo so Javi took good care of us on the roads.
This was a fantastic experience! We enjoyed seeing a wide variety of sights and being on the E-bikes was great because we were outdoors and could travel easily. Our guide was very knowledgeable and has a deep connection to the area. He gave good explanations about the history and culture and told interesting stories. Highly recommended for a great experience to see the sights of Vigo.
This was INCREDIBLE! We had a fourteen day trip across Europe and this was one of my favorite tours! The guide was so amazing and welcoming and knowledgeable. We were the only ones who signed up for our time slot so we had a private tour. What an amazing experience! Stop what you’re doing and book this tour!!!!
This trip turned out to be the best day of our holiday. Javier was the best tour guide. He speaks extremely good English and is very knowledgeable about the history of Vigo. The bikes were in excellent order and were very easy to ride following a short period of instruction before heading out. Amongst many stops to learn about Vigo’s many trades, industry and leisure we stopped off for a short tour around a small wicker business which was unexpected but extremely interesting. We would have no hesitation in recommending.
We thoroughly enjoyed our E-bike tour with Biking Vigo. We saw a little bit of everything during our 17-mile ride (3 hours), from the Old Town, to the waterfront, stadium and beautiful beaches. The ride was very scenic and manageable - good for all riders. We highly recommend!
Absolutely enjoyed our day and the gorgeous views of Vigo. Javi and Reece were amazing and always had our safety! The EBikes are like new! Great Day!
The bike route was changed at the last minute. The city stops were now to be along the coastline instead. The 3 hr. Tour turned into a 4 hr. Tour. Way longer than expected which cut into our shopping time in this port before ship departure. The bike path taken along a creek was uneventful. No sights to see. Few photo opportunities. Tour operators shared some history and were keen on our safety. Bikes were fun. Memories were made in Vigo.
Great guides. Good value for the dollar. Nice pickup service at the port. Felt safe even though we rode through city traffic
Lovely cycle tour of Vigo town and port on quality bikes. Javi was a wonderful guide who took great care to ensure we had a safe and very interesting cycle. Javi is passionate about his city and he gave a very personal history of Vigo. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Lovely tour of Vigo, well maintained bikes and an excellent host. Got to see Vigo from a locals perspective. We really enjoyed it- thank you Javi
My family (3 kids and wife) and I had a brilliant experience on this bike tour - an excellent way to see the coastline of Vigo and hear about some of the history of the city. Our tour guide Javi was excellent, both prior to our booking, getting us organised and being extremely helpful with some last minute issues. As well as being very engaging and informative on our actual tour. Loved hearing the history and his families connections to the city - made it all real and far more intersting than just bland facts. Bikes were well maintained and of good quality - would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vigo.
We joined an e-bike tour of Vigo while visiting on a cruise and unfortunately found the experience underwhelming. While the bikes were in good condition and the views were nice in places, there was very little actual touring involved. The guide offered minimal commentary throughout the ride—we passed some interesting areas, but had little idea what we were looking at or why they were significant. If you’re expecting a guided tour where you learn about the city’s history, culture, or landmarks, this isn’t it. Also worth noting: the route was long and physically demanding at times, and included stretches on busy streets and steep hills that felt unsafe, especially for anyone not used to riding. This wouldn’t be a good fit for casual or inexperienced cyclists, even on an e-bike One last heads up—the tour ends in the city center and doesn’t bring you back to the cruise port, even though you ride right by it near the end of the tour. In short, it’s more of a self-paced bike ride with a guide leading the way than an actual city tour. Some nice scenery, but not a great value if you’re hoping to learn about Vigo
This was a great cycling tour. We got to see a lot more than we would have done on foot, even getting out to some of the southern beaches. Javi was knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about vigo. Having the electric bikes was brilliant also, made light work on hills on a hot day!
This biking tour was fantastic! My husband and I had so much fun. We would highly recommend you book this tour with Javier when you visit Vigo!
21km electric bike tour with english spoken guide who tells about the city based on typical Gaelician words and personal stories
Our two families of 4 had a great experience seeing Vigo with Javi and his father-in-law. For families wanting to be more active when visiting a Vigo this is the perfect tour for them. We had two non-bikers in our group and they did great with the e-bikes. There were no issues getting up and down the hills of Vigo. Do not waste your money on cruise line tours, book this tour as it was the perfect amount of time (and for a great price)that allowed us to get a local lunch and do some shopping.
Collected from the cruise port and taken to the shop, tried the bikes out. Good bikes good guide, nice and easy ride, suitable for any age. Good knowledge from the guide. Would recommend.
You literally get to see all over Vigo with this bike tour. Don’t worry, Javier will walk you (or bike you lol) through it. I was impressed in the amount of sites and the distance that we went in this tour.
Javi was an amazing guide, he puts his heart into what he does. He was kind when we had a little trouble with the bike and he explained the use of the bike really well. He knows a lot about Vigo. It was so fun! He takes good pictures too!
Javier offered a wonderful biking tour of Vigo, greatly enhanced by e-bikes. He put a lot of effort into a route that illustrates the whole culture of Vigo from history on the hill, to a modern football stadium, to popular beaches. The highlight for me was our trip through Old Town Vigo, where he knows the shopkeepers who were available for questions. Breezing up the hill on a bike that does most the work was nice as well. Biking Vigo is certainly worth including on your trip to Vigo.
What an excellent experience. The two guys who took you round were professional, friendly and really helpful. The bikes were brilliant and we got to see parts of Vigo we would never have seen any other way. Would definitely do it again.
If you're looking for an opportunity to see Vigo from a different vantage point than a coach window, this is the tour for you! Javi took us to a variety of stops, many along narrow paths and hidden gems paths! Our group was small (only 5!) and Javi made sure everyone was comfortable and helped make the ride a great experience from start to finish! It was easily apparent that he loves Vigo and weaves some of his own family history into the tour to help change the lens a tourist may use. He was very communicative and customer service was top shelf! Can't say enough positives about the tour!
This was enjoyable, but not what we were told. We were gathered and picked up at the port, rode to the bike shop and given our bikes and orientation/lesson. We had a nice ride with a few nice stops, including a festival that was going on, but we did NOT go to Caso Vello, as advertised ( and paid for), or Castro’s Fortress. At the end of the trip, instead of being dropped off back at the port, as promised, we were left on our own to walk back or get a taxi, because they were running short on time and had another tour. I later spoke to another couple who had insisted the bike people pay for their taxi and they did. We walked.
We had a great time on our bike tour. We covered several areas of the city and the tour was very comprehensive. Strongly recommend this tour if you are in Vigo.
Javier picked us from the cruise ship as agreed. Once at the bike shop we were all fitted out correctly with bikes, helmets and instructions on how to use the electric bike. Safety of all cyclist’s (6) was paramount throughout the tour with riders at front and rear wearing hi-viz jackets. Javier also checked riders were comfortable as we cycled, by dropping from back to speak to each as the tour progressed. There were some hilly sections but even for a novice with the use of the electric motor it was easy to accomplish. The guide also provided plenty of knowledge throughout the tour of the areas we visited
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a 3 hour bike tour with Javi. It is clear to see why his company has outstanding reviews. We were picked up from our cruise ship - along with two couples from the ship - and taken to his shop. Everything about our experience was perfection. All of the equipment was provided - great quality and in great condition. We are American (the other couples were English). Javi was a great communicator, always verifying that we understood him. He gave a thorough demonstration on how to use the e-bikes and how our 3 hour very informative tour would unfold. The ride consists of mostly flat mixed terrain (groomed paths, bike lanes, sidewalks, rolling hills, and paved roads with many traffic circles). Most importantly he is meticulous about safety and acutely aware of what was going on with each rider. This ride is a great value and he really deserves more than 5 stars!
Javi is a wonderful guide with good stories on the history if Vigo and the bay. The bikes were awesome and overall great way to see Vigo up close! Thank you Javi 🙃
K Hogan 11:40 AM (1 minute ago) to me What an incredible experience and way to see Vigo. Our guide promptly picked us up at the ship port. We went to the shop and were measured for our bikes and given a tutorial and practice on the bike. We road through the city streets of cars and streetlights. I thought I would be nervous but, I felt complete safe if you followed his instructions. We then moved on to the top of the hill to a park, beautiful veiws. We headed down a dirt flat path by a river and then off to the beach. After that we road by tree lined streets and then back on city streets to the shop. Our guide was very knowledgable of the area and the history of past and present of this area and more. I would definatly do it again. We road about 35 miles. Easy breezy on an electric bike.
Javi was great! He was knowledgeable, courteous, safety-conscious, and a good communicator. My group was entirely comprised of English speakers, and he was excellent!
