This was a great tour! Our guide was very comfortable and pleasant to hang out with! You can tell that he loved his town and loved showing us all the beautiful sites. He was very attentive and concerned with our safety, checking to make sure often that we were comfortable and content. I highly recommend this excursion. It was a great way to see the town of Vigo. Also the bikes are well taken care of and safe. We are definitely pleased that we made the decision to do this tour!

The Elevator is a Futuristic piece of engineering, resembles the fictional Space Station in “Deep Space Nine” (relevant to Star Trek fans.) In truth, it’s a Glorified Lift that allows pedestrians to travel between lower Vigo around the waterfront area to higher Vigo where the majority of the local population live and incorporates a huge Shopping Mall, the entrance being opposite the lift. The circular walls reveal spectacular panoramic views of the city and Bay Area. Travel up and down the two lifts is Free of charge and maintained by the City Authorities.

Fantastic afternoon e-bike tour with Javi. If you are ever visiting Vigo for a day, this is a must do! The city is beautiful and we would have missed the coastline, beaches and parks if we had not done this tour. Vigo is so much more than the old town and cruise port!

Javi, the owner / guide (Biking Vigo) was very professional in every way and a fountain of local knowledge. Starting with the rules and regulations, getting to know your bike and a good control of the group, on the road, I felt very safe at all times. The afternoon ride was around the harbour and beach areas. Javi has a great story to tell of his family and his own experiences of Vigo and its history. Biking Vigo also offers private bike hire should you need it.

Javi is an excellent guide. We had a very enjoyable evening cycling along Vigo’s coast as the sun was setting. The e-bikes are good quality and the electric assist makes the cycling effortless. Javi was always looking out for our safety and his insights into Vigo’s history, some from his personal family life, were very informative.

I loved this original tour of Vigo and its stunning coastline and beautiful beaches. I hadn't ridden a bike in years and thought it would be difficult, but the e-bike made it so much easier. Javi was a perfect gentleman and ensured my comfort and safety at all times. The passion he has for his city and Galicia in general was great, and he gave me extra tips for other places to go to during my trip to other areas. I had so much fun; I would definitely do it again. Super nice bikes with which we rode past a number of special places in Vigo within 2 hours. Our children (17 and 19 years old) thought it was a fun way to get to know the city better.

The e-bikes were very easy and made the hills of Vigo easy! Our guide was friendly and accommodating. He even arranged a taxi for us so we’d make it back to our cruise in time.

This is a MUST do. You get to see Vigo from an alternative perspective, you get to learn some of its history, you get to meet Javi who is a great host and most interesting person. Also if you are really lucky you might even get to meet his father Alfonso (but that’s another story). Kevin and family highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant 2-3 hour ride through port area, the old town and up to La Castillo de Castro where we had stunning views of Vigo. Javi is a great guide and very knowledgeable about the history of the area, fascinating! Don’t miss this experience 👍

Javi was a fantastic guide that was totally considerate of two older Aussies who took us on 22 Kilometers tour of Vigo. Great insights provided of the city. Enjoyed immensely and we recommend this to all who wish for an enjoyable time to learn about an interesting city and its culture.

We had 3 wheels for 2 adults and a 10 year old. Communication was simple and flexible. The wheels were perfect. Everything worked great. We're on the coast heading west and then south into the mountains. It was super fun and the wheels were just right for it.
