Vienna: Skip-the-line Schönbrunn Palace & Gardens Tour

I love it amazing tour lovely guide and very easy to follow her. I would 100% recommend her anytime.

This was a great way to see the palace and learn some history as well. Romana, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Austria and the palace. My only suggestion would be a little less time talking through the details of the history, and a bit more time in the gardens and rooms of the palace. For example, we spent close to 20 minutes at the family ancestry chart. It was a little too much detail. That time could have been spent exploring the garden area.

Nicole was informative, witty, and provided a cohesive story regarding art and historical politics. I would highly recommend a tour with her.

Our Spanish speaker guide was excellent! Knowledgeable and EXTREMELY friendly (he mentioned it was the 4th time that day he was giving that tour and he made us feel like he was still fresh and energetic!)

Easy to find the guide with the instructions. The guide was fantastic, she was easy to understand, very knowledgeable and overall terrific.

Elmar was the best tour guide we have had on our European tour. He was easy to understand, charismatic and knew all the answers to my random questions. Arrive early because the directions for the meeting point were a little tricky. No fault of Elmar.

Our tour guide (Mikau?) was fantastic, very friendly and enthusiastic. I love it when tour guides bring their personality to the tour and he was great, funny and engaging! He gave a snappy rundown of both Schönbrunn but also how it fit in the history of Austria. Absolutely fabulous introduction to the city of Vienna.

Not worth the money. It was way too crowded with so many different tour groups trying to walk their people through. The things you get to see are not that impressive. The guide was informative but it got lost in being shuffled from one room to the next keeping the flow of people moving.

The Schonbrunn palace and gardens are amazing. They best Versailles in my mind, largely because they are historically intact. On our tour, Alexander was a wonderful guide. He was knowledgeable, passionate and a great storyteller. I greatly appreciate his ability to explain the long history of the Hapsburgs through the lens of the palace.

be careful to know the cost before you agree for example, an English tour cost more than a German one it is not obvious from the advertisement

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable & experienced. Grateful that he waited for me & my friends…though I had to make a call (which was international because my cellphone service was from the USA) to ascertain the meeting point, which was not very specific. I’d suggest the tour guide must she more specific and easy to spot by maybe waving a flag or something…

Doesn't include state rooms related to sisi. Currently no toilets in the palace. Some renovation work going on in rooms

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable & passionate about the Palace’s history. It was a great way to see the gigantic palace & its grounds in a few hours time. Highly recommend!

Our guide was very informative. We chose a time when there were many other visitors, and he led us around them very smoothly.

Our start time was delayed so it was very crowded at the later time. Not that easy to find guide. We waited by “arches” on the left. The “columns” were very tall white columns past the first coffee shop. Our guide, Nicola was excellent in every way. However, the group of 28 we would consider to be a very large, not a small group. Hence it was a pricey tour for that size group to navigate the crowds.

Very informative. It was a great day. The palace was beautiful and the grounds were breathtaking. I would love to go back

The history of Schönbrunn was explained in a great way The palace is truly amazing!

Roland was very knowledgeable. He also made the tour very funny. He added humor to the sometimes dry history of a palace. I would suggest anyone visiting Vienna take this store.

I reached the venue on Time but despite all effort I could not locate the group or the Guide. I tried calling the Service Provider but they did not answer. My Money has been wasted

Amazing experience, our guide Mirka was wonderful! You could tell he was really passionate about it and made it a thoroughly enjoyable time. He provided a great history for the palace with a sense of humour and a great pace so we could see each room with plenty of time for photos

Our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was about the right length. There is a longer tour of the other side of the palace but that has twice the rooms

Schoenbrunn Palace is definitely with a visit. Our small group tour guide, Roland was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour of the palace interior was very similar to touring Versailles. Lots of good info about the Hofburg Empire, Franz Joseph, Elizabeth (Sisi), etc. Beautiful gardens as well. A must see in Vienna.

Mirko Postolovski is a great guide. He is very light hearted and made the tour enjoyable for all of us. I didn’t had enough cash so I made sure to praise him at least in the review 😊

This palace is amazing and a must see if you visit Vienna. Our guide, Nicole, was really excellent, professional and knowledgeable. The head phones worked well and when not using them, she could be heard clearly in a group of 25.
