After we ended our walking tour through Vienna we stumbled onto this little museum which was a really fun way to relax and still do something memorable. The illusions were really clever and fun to look at, they also had some wooden games which I loved. We left with really cool pictures and some of the illusionslos still leave me puzzled. Really glad we found it!
It’s a place full of surprises with unique effects and plenty of things to try. We really enjoyed the puzzle-games there!! Another great aspect was the location as it’s easy to find, right in the city centre. Definitely, worth a visit, even if it’s just to admire that ancient building itself. We had a lovely time. It's not the biggest Museum but it was very funny and interesting! We had our fun trying out the different spots to take pictures :)
Do not worth the money.. There's not much you can do there and the price Does not match the expectations. Feels like a waste of time.
Take a break from the history and elegance of Vienna to explore the weaknesses of our brain and senses. It is a small museum but with some great games, puzzles and riddles.... and many photo-ops. Good with kids in all ages

Funny, very nice employees. I could be a little bigger. Finished after about 1 hour, but my 11 year had a lot of fun.

We found this by chance and fancied a bit of fun. Well worth doing if you want a break from churches and museums. Let your mind boggle and brain be confused with what you are seeing. :-)
I was there with a friend of mine! We really enjoyed the time there and spent lots of time! I would like to visit it again in order to understand more! The organization was great, the text with explanations were in several languages so was easy to learn new things there!

Great alternative if you want something other than historical tours. We came here on a rainy day and spent the whole afternoon feeling like children again!

Spend an hour & half queuing for an illusion museum Only to find 3/4 very small rooms with awful illusions!! Really not worth the wait or money !!! Awful, it took us 10/15 mins to go round !!

We waited outside with 2 kids in the line, but didn’t manage. Afterword we were advised by entrance manager that tickets will be refunded in case we decide to leave the line! We did so. Museum says it’s TripAdviser issue. TripAdviser hasn’t replied to our messages for few days already. Waiting...

Different than the usual museum. Exhibits here are base on brain tricks and misperception of visual images. If you're a couple ask the staff to take your picture and be of the illusion. Have fun!
It’s overrated and overpriced. Small fun place which shouldn’t be called a museum. It’s worth half of the price.

I visited this museum a few days ago whilst in Vienna as my friend and I wanted something different to do. It was great, it kept us occupied for awhile, the illusions were thought provoking and the staff were so so so helpful. The only downside is that it was really difficult to find and we just have walked around for awhile so maybe a sign right outside would be a good idea. Other then that it was great.
Perfect place to have fun feeling like a child. This is ideal to a very huge range of ages, since children to adults .
