Vienna Scavenger Hunt & Highlights Self-guided Walking Tour

It was fun, easy simple way to get around Vienna while still seeing all the highlights. Great for seeing beautiful architecture.

We did the "Hunt"-Tours several times in several cities and loved it! It's a nice and entertaining way to explore the cities. But - sometimes there are errors in the answers (e.g. Lisboa: the age of Thomaz Quintino Antunes 1820-1898 - 78 years old, but in the Trail App the answer is 68, that's definitely wrong!). So it would be necessary to check the answers of all cities, because in other cities there were some answers wrong too. But nevertheless we love World City Trails and will do it again and again and again (Porto and Vienna since we've been in Lisboa!). Thanks a lot for the funny time we could share:-)

Great value for money and a fun way to see the city and see areas we may not have gone to. Recommended.

Pretty poor treasure hunt. We have completed several others in other cities and this one was disjointed with predictable questions and not challenging at all.

The booking image clearly shows Hundertwasserhaus. I chose this scavenger hunt because that is specifically what I wanted to see and thought it would be nice to make an afternoon of it with other stops. Followed the scavenger hunt directions and did not go anywhere near Hundertwasserhaus. This image should be removed if it's not part of the hunt.

The selfguided tour was funny and interesting. We got to see places we wouldn't have otherwise seen.

Very fun experience for us and a great way to see things we may not have normally looked for. Likes having the option to stop and go and do things at your own pace.

The tour was a fun casual way to get to know the city. We finished only 7 of the clues but that was just fine. Our other city activities interrupted finishing all 10 questions. I don’t want to write a spoiler but I can say there were some surprises along the way that gave us some laughs. Enjoy this simple tour.

This was so much fun to do. We saw many important sights and learned a lot about each. My husband, who hates sightseeing tours, loved this one. Hint: bring pen and paper with you.

Interesting way to explore a new city. Those who want to can discover great places off the beaten path. However, the set could also be available for, e.g., over 24 hours. Be available, e.g., 48 hours. The instructions to set up the game were the only thing in English. For whatever reason?

Little flexible, couldn't go back. Just read up a text at every attraction we could be wiser of on google. Had expected more during the trip, and there was a lot of printing back and forth.

Very fun way to interest a pre-teen to visit the city and allow parents to discover interesting places.

Very funny idea and a great individual way of a city tour! From us it would have been nice to have been able to impart a little more knowledge maybe you could go a little deeper into the topic and make the texts longer! But still for the price a nice idea!

Interesting way to experience part of the city. The tips at the respective stations were helpful and good. But if you read everything and look at the stops, it takes you 3-4 hours. Unfortunately, the app hung up multiple times, on all phones. The question on the point “Vienna State Opera” was insoluble because it was worded incorrectly. Orthographic errors would not really have to be. And how can one please understand the sentence “He composed marches and Polish women.”??

Fun as all treasure hunts. Of medium-easy difficulty very well organized. An alternative and fun way to get to know a city!

A scavenger hunt on the smartphone...we found it very amusing. The group should of course know each other beforehand, but then we all found it very funny. And you can't go wrong with that price either.

Guten Tag. Ich konnte mich auf dieser worldcitytrail App nicht einloggen und habe daher ihre Hilfe per WhatsApp angefordert. Es wurde mir gesagt, ich soll die Bestätigungsnummer + via eingeben. Funktionierte nicht - Anmeldung fehlgeschlagen. Dann wurde mir gesagt, ich solle diese App löschen und nochmal runterladen , den Cache leeren und dann Via- und die Bestätigungsnummer eingeben. Hab ich gemacht. So haben wir ewig hin und her geschrieben. Funktionierte einfach nicht. Dann hieß es auf einmal ich muss direkt bei worldcitytrail um Hilfe bitten, sie sind da nicht zuständig. Auf einmal - nicht zuständig!!! So dann sind wir bereits in Wien angekommen und ich habe dann auf die tour verzichtet, weil keine Zeit mehr dafür war. Ich weiss aber jetzt , dass ich bei ihnen sicher nichts mehr buchen werde. Ich bin der Meinung, man sollte eben gleich sagen, wenn ihr nicht zuständig seid. Das Geld hätte ich lieber jemandem gespendet. Mfg Evelyn Golob
