Vienna Hofburg Palace Skip-the-line Ticket Sisi Museum Tour

Very good guide. Palace is lovely. Lots of information about the Hapsburg which gave good context to the city. Good for history lovers

This tour was well worth it, just us and our guide Uta. Uta was on time, easy to find, very knowledgeable, pleasant, funny as well as aware that it was quite cold for us the day of our tour. We were able to see and learn about the palace and history of the family in a relatively short amount of time bypassing lines and with her targeted commentary, diving deeper anywhere we asked her to. It was well worth it vs wondering through the palaces with the recorded audio tour as in less time we saw more, learned more, and had more fun.

In these tours the quality, enthusiasm and knowledge of the gude is critical. We were lucky to have Maximilian (Max for most of his customers) showing us around Hofburg Palace and Sisi Museum. It got quite late, dark and cold by the end, so the rest of our paying group all gave up, but Max continued with just the 2 of us as the program stipulated. Thank you Maximilian, well done !

We really enjoyed our tour of Hofburg Palace. Our guide, Maria, was very knowledgeable, friendly and gave us several anecdotes that made the tour much more interesting. We also really appreciate that the service found us a guide on very short notice on a busy weekend.

This tour eliminates standing in line to get into the museum. Our guide was knowledgeable abd gave us a concise history of the origin of Vienna through to the exile of the Kaiser.

Robbery is the lasting memory I will have for this event. There’s no way in hell or on earth that anyone can justify the ridiculous amount they charge for this mediocre event 433 Euro for a couple and just over 2 hours! it doesn’t includes a museum and a palace. The museum is in the palace. You can buy tickets that give you an audio tour for 14Euro each and take it at your pace! I’m embarrassed to admit I was conned on this one😣

We had already toured the Hofburg exterior the day before but it was great to see the interior and Karin went into further detail which I really enjoyed. Great tour and highly recommend. I'm not a big Sisi fan myself but I did gain a new appreciation for her.

Our tour person, Michael, was the worst. He did not provide a good explanation, and did not answer any of the two questions I had asked. Michael arrived late and he did not want to be there. Forget about going in this tour. The other person who spoke Spanish was quite nice and polite.

The guide---a middle aged guy was excellent --, knew everything about Sisi, even little known facts---maybe 10 people, instead of a crowd of 50 so easier to hear and see---don't remember paying the quoted price---seemed a lot less--but all in all it was a good tour

We enjoyed this private tour with our tour guide and beautiful Baroque style Palaces, there are so many things to see. Our tour guide was wonderful and told us stories of each building/ Palace was built, details of Sisi. We recommend take this tour.

our guide Kirstin was amazing. met us on time and we were the only people on tour!!! very informative and planned ahead to accommodate an injury through the museum and Sisi. Also she told us about another exhibition when she found out about my obsession with chandeliers! Highly recommend company and guide. Unfortunately she ran off prior to us giving her a tip. Robert was an outstanding tour guide who not only showed us the history through the walking tour he engaged us with other info and answered the million and 1 questions I had. I’ve been on tours where the guide knows the info but has no passion about the history. Robert not only knew the info but you could tell he enjoyed what he was doing! Certainly recommend the experience!

Antonio Rosa was our tour guide in Spanish. So kind and knowledgeable. I really wish we had more time to learn more about Vienna with him. 2 hours was honestly not enough.

I booked initially for a tour for Wednesday, together with a colleague. However, due to the recovery plan after the Coronavirus pandemic, the access to the Hofburg Palace and Sisi Museum (as well as many other tourist attractions in Austria) was restricted just a day before my visit (the access was only allowed between Thursday and Sunday, until the 30 of June). As soon as the company got aware of the situation, they contacted me via phone and mail. They informed me about the situation and inquired about any free time-frames do I have in my trip so they try and reschedule the tour without interfering with other plans. I only had a single time-frame and the company together with the guide managed to reschedule the tour to that time-frame. I wanted to highlight this, since huge efforts were made, from the guide and company, to manage and fix the situation without interfering with my busy schedule. I don't believe that many people will do those efforts instead I guess that they will offer a refund or to reschedule the visit on another day with a fixed time. After I got aware of the situation and since we were talking about modifications in less than 24 hours, I got afraid that things will not get fixed on time, and I couldn't risk not to visit Hofburg Palace and Sisi Museum during the trip, I bough entrance tickets for the museum directly. Once the guide found out that I bough separate entrance tickets, she talked - on her own initiative - to the museum officials and I got a refund for my separate entrance tickets (which I got denied when I tried to ask). Our guide was Miss. Ute. She is amazing and. An very y passionate expert about Hofburg Palace, Sisi Museum and Schönbrunn Palace as well as anything related to Vienna and the imperial family. We got tons of interested information and highlights that we would have been missed for sure if we were on our own. Regarding the palace and the museum, as the majority know, it is a very majestic place. It is rich with history that can’t be experienced anywhere else. It is for sure a most to visit during any trip to Vienna. At the end, I want to thank the Miss. Ute for all the information and for the wonderful time that we had during the tour. I also want to thank her and the company, for they efforts to fix the situation that I detailed above.
