Maria was a phenomenal and warm guide, I really reccomend this tour if you want to discover the "real Vienna"! You'll use the public transit. Highly enjoyed this tour with Maria. Don't eat before !!!

Honestly, this was one of my favourite tours of my entire Europe trip. We visited charming, authentically Viennese spots that we never would have discovered on our own. Each stop included a cocktail or drink, plus a delicious charcuterie board and an incredible dinner. I would have happily gone back to several of those places if we’d had more time in Vienna. Wolfy was an exceptional host, attentive, entertaining, and even arranged an Uber for us at the end of the night. I’d recommend this tour without hesitation; you won’t regret it.

Excellent tour! We try to go on a food tour in any new city and this one may be the best. Great food, wine and cocktail! We visited 4 districts via public transport,(easy peasy and we have a new skillet), learned about history/culture/night life, met new people and had a ball. Wolfy’s attention to detail was spot on. What made this tour stand head and shoulders above the other 10 or so food tours we've taken is the quality: the tour guide (Marie), the food stops (classic Vienna cafe; fantastic small wine bar; traditional Viennese dinner; and ultimate rooftop cocktail bar). There was the perfect amount of walking, dining, and cultural education. Marie made additional recommendations and sent group pictures to us right away. Don't hesitate to book this tour, you will not be disappointed.

What sets this apart from the ordinary is the excellent quality: the guide (Marie), the food, and the wines--the whole experience. It had the perfect amount of walking vs. eating, group size, information, and first-rate restaurants/wine bars. In fact, I would say it well exceeded our expectations from the description given. We've taken a dozen tours and this is our top first or second tour.

Wolfi led our tour. There were 3 guests and he was charming, knowledgeable, entertaining and handsome. We loved the food choices and the stories. In addition we traveled to many parts of Vienna by Metro, which we had not experienced. My wife and I have taken many food tours but none were as good as this one. Incredible experience. Wolfie was so friendly,interesting and knowledgeable. Took us to places we would never have known about whilst educating us on the areas and their history. A superb experience worth the time and money! Maria was our guide and an outstanding one at that. She kept us moving, guided us by public transportation, explained a ton about the city and its food culture and really attended to our questions. We really enjoyed all the food and drinks we tried from pastries and coffee, to cheeses and charcuterie, to a traditional Viennese dinner with wine, and ending with some delicious cocktails at a wonderful rooftop bar. Maria offered us some great ideas for places to explore after the tour as well. Would totally recommend this experience!

Outstanding experience with Maria! We visited four different places and tried a great variety of food. Along the way, we visited the less touristy areas of the city and learned so much about Viennese culture. Maria is so knowledgeable and helpful. We loved our tour with Wolfy. His tour is a great way to get introduced to the city. Getting more comfortable with the metro was one perk. But exploring hidden food gems outside the touristy city core was the greatest part. There was a massive amount of delicious food, we couldn’t even finish everything. Wolfy was a great guide, and kindly remembered that we had asked about Austrian gins - so made sure I was able to try one at our last stop, even though it wasn’t part of the usual plan. Can’t recommend his tour enough.

This was an outstanding (must-do) foodie tour with Wolfy as our guide. We had a private tour as my husband and me a friend were the only 3 on the tour. The stops and plentiful delicious food were amazing and the cocktail at a rooftop bar was a perfect ending to the tour. Wolfy was very knowledgeable and so much fun. He had a great sense of humour and we had great conversation. I highly recommend this tour.

Wolfi provided us with an excellent tour and went above and beyond the entire time. It’s small group based, and we all got to talk and mingle, meet new people, and the overall vibe was dinner with a friend. He was extremely knowledgeable about Vienna and Austrias history, but also extremely funny and a great conversationalist. The food and drinks on the tour were excellent. Every establishment we went was ready to seat us immediately, and we received amazing service. It’s clear he’s well revered amongst his community. We got to experience a more authentic Vienna, and got to explore beyond the usual tourist areas. We took a few subway rides and a bus ride, which was incredibly helpful for understanding the public transit system and how it works, and Wolfie showed us on the map all the best directions for different things the group was interesting in visiting during our trips. He also provided a list of recommendations for us to explore independently during our stay. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip, and I recommend doing it early on in your visit, as it was a thoughtful and thorough introduction to the city, and you will receive an incredible recommendation list. We got to learn about Viennese history and everyday life, walk through markets, and drink some incredible wine. Overall, 10/10

My husband and I found this tour after extensive research. It consistently came up as one of the very best food tours in Vienna and for excellent reason. After doing food tours in cities around the world, this one stands out as the best we have ever experienced. Wolfie is an absolute pleasure to spend time with. He is dynamic, gracious, and genuinely warm. He is a normal, engaging person who makes you feel right at home. Unlike many other tours we have taken that feel like money making operations run by non locals with hired staff who do not know the city, Wolfie is a true Viennese local who clearly loves sharing the very best of his hometown. Every stop had a wonderful story behind it and offered something unique about Vienna food and drink scene. Wolfie was incredibly generous and accommodating. He even added an extra stop so my husband could try the famous Sachertorte. This is a very long tour with many stops, so you are really getting great value for what you pay. We loved getting to know him throughout the tour. Every location felt like a little adventure with beautiful scenery. We finished the day at a stunning rooftop bar with an incredible view. If you are thinking about booking this tour, do not hesitate. You truly will not find a better one in Vienna. Highly highly recommended.

We had a fantastic tour with Wolfy. He took us to several great food spots and shared his knowledge of Vienna with us. We visited many different areas of the city that we never would have seen on our own. And, had fabulous authentic Austrian food. The tour was well worth price paid. We recently took the Vienna Nightlife Experience and it was hands down the highlight of our trip! What made the evening truly special was our incredible guide, Maria. She was vibrant, knowledgeable, and so much fun to be around. She had the perfect balance of sharing interesting history and making sure we were all having a fantastic time. We were lucky enough to be in a small, intimate group of just two couples, which made the experience feel very personal and relaxed. It was so easy to chat, laugh, and really connect throughout the night. The food stops were fantastic—everything we tried was delicious and authentic. The grand finale at the rooftop bar was the perfect way to cap off the experience. Sipping cocktails while taking in that breathtaking view of Vienna at night was absolutely magical. I had a great experience on this tour! Maria was wonderful--very kind and knowledgable! You get a wonderful overview of some classic and more modern spots. I don't know that I would have gotten to any of them on my own! I learned so much and the food was wonderful. I would definitely recommend it!! It really enhanced my experience in Vienna.

Really excellent tour, with a good mix of restaurants. All the stops felt genuine and less touristy. Good quality food. Also good chance to use the transport system - with help! Now feel much more confident in getting around. Lots of suggestions of places to go. And best of all - we had a good laugh. I’ve done lots of food tours and this was one of the best.

Wolfy was a fantastic host. I was fortunate to get a private tour and Wolfy did everything to make it as memorable as possible. He's great at reading to vibes and taking you to the places that best for your mood. He is a true local and advocate for his city. Every place he went to, the staff knew him personally. What a great food tour by Wolfy. This was a unique tour as we went to hidden gem restaurants that weren't touristy and we got there by using the tram, bus and underground subway. It was such a fun experience because it taught us how to easily get around. Wolfy had extensive knowledge about the history of Vienna and the food culture. We went to a highly rated cafe to start with dessert in which we tried two different desserts. We went to a famous ice cream place that is only open a few months out of the year - super popular and only one location. We would not have found this on our own. We went to an open air market where you can buy fresh produce, meats, cheeses, spices, etc. There were many small cafes within the market as well. We had a beautiful cheese/meat plate with horseradish, a special jam with cheese and a bottle of wine. We then went to a beautiful restaurant and tried goulash (with fantastic potato salad), and gnocchi with wild garlic sauce cheese (so good). We ended at a hip bar on the top floor of a hotel for a cocktail. It was such a great way to see different parts of the city, you wouldn't otherwise see. Wolfie was a great guide with a great sense of humor, knowledge and fun!

Maria was great! My company arranged the food tour for the end of our trip and it was a great experience. We loved getting to try new dishes, learn more about the city and history, and relax at each place. The time went by fast with a lot of laughs and great conversations. This was the perfect blend of history and good food. Wolf left us riveted with the history of Vienna and how easy it was to get around with mass transit. He was engaging and entertaining and all of us had an amazing time. Good food, good stories and great company. I would definitely recommend if ever in Vienna and want a great tour that combines both.
