Great food, entertainment (especially the electric violin solo performance at the end), and energy from the staff. Super well organized. Only negative was that it was quite hot in the venue.

This concert was great fun. It included singing and dancing, plus the musicians. The atmosphere was great, as the venue is tent-like.
Excellent show. The show and food exceeded our expectations. Our server Markus made the evening more enjoyable with his enthusiasm and friendliness.
The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. The music was wonderful. I am so glad we decided to do this!
This was a very fun evening. The price may appear high, but the dinner and show were very good, and we felt we got good value for the cost. The food was delicious and ample and the service was better than expected for a banquet style meal. The entertainment was as advertised and actually better than we expected. The atmosphere was the highlight was me. I loved the spiegeltent! There was a variety of seating choice. We were at a round table with other guests and found the sightlines good and since we were only two people, we enjoyed socializes with other tourists. Even better was the location within the Prater. I would highly recommend arriving early and wandering about the park taking in the carnival atmosphere and vintage vibe. Definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Vienna.
Be prepared to be taken back in time. We laughed cried and ate our way through a night we will never forget. The music dancing and singing was our transport to a time in the past we could only dream of.
Trust me. I’m not posting this for likes or someone asked me to. One of the best nights I’ve had out. Covers all the stuff you need to know about Austrian cuisine and music. Except schnitzel you need to get them asap. Orchestra was amazing, conductor was cool, soprano was outstanding as where the ballet dancers. Staff efficient and helpful. We went to the opera too, this was better. If you are in Vienna just go. End of..
Well organised. The tent itself was unique. Entertainment was excellent: energetic and fun throughout. The venue is a little out of the centre so be prepared to make extra time to get there. Overall food was good - we chose the classic menu through VIATOR we were able to change the starter and this was acknowledged at the table. Drinks as to be expected.
This was a great show and the food was very good. Enjoyed sitting at a table with people from other countries and learning of their travel experience's. This show is worrth all the money i paid for it. The location was a little tricky to find so give yourself time. We were able to enjoy a glass of wine outside on the terrace prior to the show. The whole environoment was great and the lead MC was great at keeping the audience captivated. A most see!!!
A must do while in Vienna ! It was amazing , my 16 year old daughter and my husband had a great time ! The orchestra, opera singer and ofcourse the amazing conductor were impressive! BRAVO !!! Also have to mention our server Marcus and Mohamed who were excellent! Thank you !
Excellent show with talented performers. Dinner food was good, ordinary seats position gave good view.
Wasn’t allowed to choose off the menu waiter just plopped food item down could not see any of the stage so I should be refunded at least a third if what it cost us
Great location, music, opera singer & dancers. From the website expected fully dressed ballroom dancers for waltz but was just one couple who did ballet & waltz. A little over priced for length of show & the meal. Service was good by staff & happy atmosphere. Just probably not matched to the price paid for ticket.
Very good music and entertainment. Food and service was excellent
Enjoyable and engaged show of Strauss music. Musicians were exceptional as was the soprano and the ballet dancers. Food was good and service excellent.
Fully immersive opera, ballet and orchestral . Really fun night with lovely food. Violinist at the end was fantastic, would have liked more 🤗
Very disappointing experience, especially for the price. We paid approximately $300 for Category B Premium Lounge seating and were extremely disappointed to discover that our seats were positioned with our backs essentially facing the stage. I had to sit twisted halfway to the right for the entire performance just to try to see what was happening. After a while, my entire back cramped up, and we ultimately left shortly after the first intermission because we simply could not comfortably watch the show. For a dinner show in Vienna at this price point, the seating arrangement was completely unacceptable. We paid for a premium experience and instead spent much of the evening struggling to see the performance. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for it. It was mediocre at best, with the beef being noticeably overcooked. What made the experience even more disappointing was that this was supposed to be a special anniversary dinner celebration for us. Instead, we left disappointed and feeling that the experience did not come close to matching the price we paid. The advertising also set expectations that, in our opinion, were not met. The promotional material appeared to show more performers, more elaborate stunts, and a much more impressive production than what we actually experienced. The show itself felt rather underwhelming and, at times, simply boring. For roughly $300, I honestly expected a memorable, high-quality Viennese dinner and entertainment experience. Given the price, the poor seating, mediocre food, and relatively lackluster performance, I find it shocking that this level of production is being offered at this price in Vienna. Unfortunately, we would not recommend it, particularly for a special occasion.
Had a solo night on my Vienna trip and wanted to see a fun show! I was excited to see Strauss performed and get a meal. Overall, great night! The performance and performers were fantastic and so talented! Dinner was delicious as was my Hugo spritz! I was at a table with three other couples and it was a fun overall experience.
Really enjoyed the evening. Great music, band enjoyed themselves as did the audience. Strauss theme was enabling, not restricting, as the repertoire included a range of music. The waiting staff were excellent and the food was too. The mirror tent was a great venue. I would only ask that the backdrop, which was AI generated, might be replaced by a real film.
The show itself was nice, and all the musicians, singers, actors and the conductor did their job very well. Thank you. I just don’t understand how a “privileged lodge” costing €300 for two people can mean being seated directly behind a column with a limited view. It was frustrating and, of course, spoiled the experience. I didn’t buy the cheapest option. I paid for quality, comfort and the best possible experience — and I didn’t get it. Hence, the organisation was disappointing. Sorry, but I would not recommend this experience to others if they want to avoid paying a premium to watch a column.
Show was incredible. My only concern was that TripAdvisor did not provide the correct address. Show was close to the address but we didn’t know where to go. I went to a restaurant and asked for help. Lo and behold, I was at the correct location. Name of the place is The Mirage!
Excellent show-nice dinner with outstanding service Stay after for beautiful solo concert with “first chair”
What a wonderful evening! We visited as a family and enjoyed every minute. The three hours flew by. The orchestra was excellent, but the soprano truly stole the show. Her voice was absolutely stunning and she gave a beautiful, emotional performance that made the evening even more special. The conductor kept the audience engaged with great enthusiasm, and together with the dancers and musicians they created a warm, lively atmosphere that never felt formal or boring. The dinner was very good, and everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. After dessert, the violinist brought the whole room to life. Our son couldn’t resist getting up to dance, and before long many other guests joined in, even forming a conga line through the venue. It was such a joyful and unforgettable ending to a fantastic evening. If you’re looking for a fun and elegant night out in Vienna, I can highly recommend this show. We would happily do it again!
My 9 year old son is not used to classic Music but loves this dinner show. It brought happiness to everybody.
The performers were exceptionally talented, energetic, and engaging, creating an unforgettable atmosphere from beginning to end. The combination of outstanding entertainment and a wonderful meal made for a perfect night out.
I would call this a tourist trap! For the dinner show in general, they could coordinate content better as there was no "wow" factor considering how skilled the orchestra and individual performers were. Maybe focusing too much being funny instead? It didn't draw the crowd with beautiful music (best for people wanting to get drink and make noise). Regarding the VIP tickets, this was 100% rip off. We were told to arrive at 18:30 but could not get in until 19:00 so we just stood there. No drinks were included (not even coffee/tea with meal), rip off. NO special treatment. Front seats were awkward then being a good seat. Small venue so everyone had good seats and VIP seats ended up being more uncomfortable.. Venue itself was more like a circus type venue, not a classical venue. Food was average, 4 course meant the food course was just bread, no salad no veggies, just meat/potato. Rip off. Not bad and not good. Highly overrated! Go to a musical or opera instead!! Cheaper and more value for your money. Concert Master was Slovenian and the only person in the orchestra smiling-Ieva Pranskute. She performed solo at the end. If it wasn't for this, She was excellent and made the show!
An excellent experience with the only problem being finding the entrance to the theatre. Very good food and light hearted entertainment.
We all loved the show ,the dinner and the atmosphere. The waiters were very attentive and the coordination of the meal and show was great! I definitely met our expectations. I would recommend this show to all! Children also loved it! The conductor was awesome. By looks on the players faces they seemed to enjoy playing for him and us. The violinist was great and we loved the music selections and the performance after the show. Some of the songs were familiar and we sang along. The singer and dancers were also great entertainment. The audience participated in some of the songs, and we all enjoyed the interaction. The photographers' pictures were great too. We bought 3 of the 4 photos. The quality and clarity of the pictures and the price were great. It was a great memory to take back home with us. It was a wonderful, splendid evening in Austria. The location of our table was a little obstructed, but it was great to have a table up close. we were able to see the orchestra fairly well and the dancers, singer and violinist very well. I can't say I had a favorite moment as the whole performance was wonderful! My visit to Austria was an experience/memory that I won't forget. Seeing the Strauss show was something I wanted to see. I could have listened to more. I can't remember how long we were at the venue. The number of people there was a great crowd, and the audience participation was great. Allowing the little dancing girl to come on stage was a very nice thing to add. She was a cutie. The pace of the show was done very well, just didn't want it to end. The venue seemed to be rather full. It didn't affect my experience at all. I didn't have any add-ons, and it didn't have any effect on my experience. Book early! I didn't come across any discounts until after I booked. It was worth all I spent for a wonderful evening of great food and great entertainment. I would do it all over again and would encourage anyone visiting in Vienna to do the Strauss Dinner Show. We didn't do anything comparable. The crowd size didn't affect our ability to enjoy Vienna at all. We were able to visit the museums and palaces with no problem. It's Beautiful!
This was an excellent show , everything was efficient, the staff really could not do enough for you and the food was excellent and the portions were good. The orchestra were briliant as was the soprano and dancers, and the solo set after was something to behold. . A truly fabulous evening for us with the Radetzky March being particularly poignant for us , thank you all.
Venue was hard to locate . The event was great with a good dinner included. Highly recommend giving better directions to venue. Very fun time with a great concert included.
This was a wonderful experience that topped off a lovely day in Vienna, during our 5 day trip. The meal was delicious, my veggie main was a little too big for me but was still extremely tasty. The music and singing were sublime, the dancing was lovely and the atmosphere was wonderful. The only niggle was being told we couldn’t take our fleece/ jacket in with us and had to pay 2 euros to store them in the cloakroom. We were sat in a booth and I could have done with the jacket folded behind my back for support. However, this did not detract from the evening’s entertainment. The host/conductor was brilliant and funny. It was great that he presented in English. We both thoroughly enjoyed our Strauss dinner evening.
It was a good show. The food was good. There should be a bit more music. There was a bit to much talking.
My mom had heard about this show online and read the rave reviews about it so I decided to go ahead and buy (quite expensive!) tickets to the show. We had really been looking forward to it and I’m sorry to say it was a bit disappointing. The musicians are all great but they split the show into two parts, before dinner and after dinner. The first part was really where they highlighted Strauss’s music and the second part was more of a comedy show, not what I’ve come to expect of a classical music concert. Now on to the food. I requested at the last minute to switch to a vegetarian option due to an upset stomach the day of the show. They were very quick and polite in their response on WhatsApp. Unfortunately, neither the classic meal (which both of my parents had) nor the vegetarian option were that great. My dad gave me some of his roast beef to try and it was a little dry. My mom said that hers was tough. The cheese spaetzle I had was too heavy and covered in fried onions. Overall, I didn’t feel this show was worth the nearly $600 USD I paid for it.
Watched the show 31 March 2026. Felt like I was being hustled for money. Musicians and performers were very talented, but the actual running of the show/the experience of the show... felt very gimmicky... like it was all about money. I felt like I was being hustled for money. Like they were trying to upsell me. For example, the four of us paid like 110 euros each to attend the show...then they wanted 2 euros per coat to hold your coat in the coat closet. Then they wanted extra money for water and soft drinks (I think this should be included in the price). Maybe they can charge extra for alcoholic drinks but not soft drinks or water. Then they had a photographer going around taking your picture and laid the pictures on display...which I can only assume would cost even more money if you wanted to take the photo home with you. Then, at least TWICE they asked the audience to post about the show on social media (that felt cheap and tacky). The conductor of the show seemed unsure if himself...like he was an actor in a play and forgot his lines several times. That felt uncomfortable and awkward. I really had high hopes for this experience and paid a lot of money to enjoy it with my wife and in-laws...in fact my in laws paid for the show based on my recommendation. I read through many reviews online and it was one of the main reasons I chose Vienna as a vacation destination.
A wonderful evening. The music was fantastic, the conductor made the evening so entertaining. The Soprano and the Violinist gave really great performances. Very entertaining all round.
Great show but difficult place to find no obvious signage once you get to the fun fair. Also not sure which waiters took drinks orders so after a few attempts gave up
We had no advanced expectations walking into this show. The reviews were great but we’ve seen similar shows in the past. Completely blown away. The musicians and the vocals were far superior to what we’ve seen previously. Such a great show, even our 13 yo loved it. If you are in Vienna and you have the time, you won’t be disappointed.
The environment, the food, and the music were thoroughly delightful! The soprano soloist and the solo violinist at the end were simply incredible! What a lovely way to end the day in the beautiful city of Vienna!
Less talking more music could be much better
The music of Strauss was beautiful and the conductor highly entertaining. The dancing and opera were lovely as well. The food was tasty and we enjoyed our evening here.
My daughter and my husband And I enjoyed this event.”we loved traveling during h the holiday season! The music was excellent!
We were only in Vienna for one day and I am so glad I booked this dinner show. It is a phenomenal experience of Strauss music in a cozy set up. The performance is world class and will lift your spirits up.
My family and I loved the show. It was entertaining and the main singer was fantastic. The food wasn't great, but we didn't mind
We were required to check coats to enter the dining room, and were charged for it. They offered wine for purchase in the lobby before entering the dining room. The show and orchestra were very good. Given the cost, the dinner should have been better.
The food was good, the music was good. The opera singer was phenomenal. The ending with violin solo was too much for me. It got weird.
Overall a fun evening, food was decent, and wait staff were friendly. The only bad part of the evening was that my husband and I got stuck with our backs to the stage and we had to crane our necks to see the performers the entire night. The tickets on the outer edges with backs to the stage really should be cheaper or compensated in some way because it does take away from the experience.
We had a wonderful time at the Strauss Dinner Show. The performance had just the right amount of variety, and the pacing made the evening feel engaging from start to finish. The opera singer was truly the highlight — absolutely captivating and unforgettable. The food was very good, and the beautiful setting added to the overall experience. A memorable and well-done production that we would happily recommend.
We were lucky enough to experience this on Xmas day. Great show with nice wine a good food. Very entertaining show that included something for everyone. We even took our 9 year old daughter who loved it.
Great time! Food was great, band was awesome! Easy experience with no stress. You get a card at the beginning that records all transactions like drinks, coat check, etc.. The soprano singer was the best! Funny, flirty, hit every note.
An incredible show...lovely food and friendly staff. Particularly my name sake Humphrey who made the night special for us. Recommend
