Our guide had great passion and knowledge to impart. Really added value to the experience and would definitely do again

This venue is gorgeous and the art collection is impressive. It was a wonderful experience for my kids and I
This skip the line tour is a wonderful way to see the Belvedere and Klimt's work, along with several other famous artists. In addition to not waiting for tickets, what made this tour great was our engaging and knowledgeable guide (unsure of his name, but was originally from Macedonia and living in Vienna for several years). Recommend for those who love art, learning and saving time while visiting.
Learn a lot about Austrian history and key artists of various periods reflecting change. The palace is very beautiful….
Our guide Utta was incredibly nice and informative of the Belvedere art and history. We enjoyed our 2 hr private tour and did not feel rushed. The gardens are lovely and can be enjoyed at your own pace after the inside experience concludes.
Elmar was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic in communicating his commentary on the Belvedere itself, and its Art. Highly recommended.
You can see the gardens for free before your tour. Our guide explained in depth in regards to different paintings and what led up to Klimt creating the paintings that he did in reflection of different eras from the past.
Renee was an amazing guide. He carefully selected paintings from the overwhelming offerings and provided interesting historical context and insightful and thought provoking art history insights into the paintings. His English was excellent and his delivery warm and humorous. An engaging experience for both me and my daughter.
Alex was the BEST tour guides we’ve had in any country! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional! Highly recommend!
Our tour guide was absolutely terrific! She was so knowledgeable with history and artwork. She was smart and how she organized our tour and was thoughtful and how she described each of the works of art.
We had Alex again as Guide ! He is very knowledgeable and funny too! Beautiful palace ! Well worth the money
The property was beautiful! The guide was fantastic!!! She was able to explain the history if the palace as well as the art inside. She had a great sense of humor as well! We were lucky enough to go at a time when a Christmas Markets was right outside! Go in the late afternoon so that the lights are on when you go! Would definitely recommend!
Alex was an incredible guide for our tour of Upper Belvedere and the Gardens. He did a wonderful job providing context and background on the artists and major works. Having Alex as a guide we got so much more out of the experience than we would have touring on our own.
It was exactly what we expected. Our tour guide Volker was very genuine, friendly and upbeat. It was a good value for the price as well.
Our guide was nice and expressive. We didn't feel that it was necessary to have a guide at this venue, however, and it was overpriced.
Hearing the stories behind the palace and behind the art works made this so much more useful and valuable as it set everything in context of the Empire. Our guide knew so so much and was warm hearted and kind too. This is a good pick !
Iris is very professional. This entire tour is family and kids friendly, I had infany in the stroller the whole time. Very nice and quiet tour
Karin did a great job as our guide for upper Belvedere Palace. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She answered all of our
My only real complaint is that they do not use a whisper device so you have to stand by the guide in order to hear. If you walk up to view the painting, you miss what the guide is saying. At one point, the museum told her she was talking too loud. Just get a whisper device!
A very informative tour with a lovely guide who pitched the tour at just the right level, as there was only 2 of us on the tour! She explained things with just the right amount of detail. Beautiful gardens to wander around, worth a visit for any art lover
Our guide, Mirko, clearly loves what he does! His passion for art shone through every part of the tour. He guided us through the exhibit with a wealth of knowledge—not only about the artworks themselves but also about the palace’s architecture, its former owners, and their impact on the political and social life of their time. What made the experience even more enjoyable was Mirko’s engaging and easygoing style. He skillfully balanced insightful, in-depth information with a great sense of humor, keeping the tour both educational and entertaining. We truly appreciated the combination of laughter and learning throughout the visit. Highly recommended! Also, there is 8 acres of botanical garden you can visit for free if you come early for the tour. Many shaded areas with benches to enjoy the landscape.
The mix of history and art gave us the opportunity to understand not only the amazing Belvedere but also the main pieces of art in exhibition. We appreciated the in depth explanation of the Kiss of Klimt. It opened our eyes to a different perspective.
Alexander was great, so warm and welcoming, so knowledgeable and personally connected to the art, architecture and artists’ stories - really enjoyable!
Alexander our tour guide was exceptional. His passion for art made our tour very insightful and enjoyable. He made sure we saw everything!
“Billy” was excellent. Shared a lot of history, information and facts iclearly and concisely. Gardens were disappointing because of concert set up everywhere-prefer to have been forewarned.
The english accent of the guide was hard to understand. He gave insightful information on the palace, we loved the Prince Eugene story he shared. Nice attitude.
Easy meet up and great energy from our guide Harry who’s name is a bit complicated so said just call him Harry. He had great information and just enough to keep everyone engaged. Great pace and engaging.
We had a wonderful time. Our tour director was so knowledgable. He loves art and he was able to explain it so we could enjoy it as well.
Wonderful tour of the highlights in Belvedere Castle. I don't usually book tours, but in the interest of time, I booked this tour and really appreciated our guides' expertise and efficiency in getting us around he was so lovely and kind. Highly recommend it!!
I greatly enjoyed this guided tour facilitated by Karin. She was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. The tour was well-organized, with fascinating insights and historical details that truly brought the sights to life.
Our tour guide was wonderful! Great English. Educational; I learned so much. Your was paced well. Plenty of opportunities for photos
Our experience was excellent and our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun to listen to. We really enjoyed the tour.
Guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. . People were late and she was required to wait. No one was aware that backpacks and coats had to checked. The audio guides, etc and everything else meant the tour didn't start until 12 instead of 11:25. That left us will little/no time for outside area . As it was winter, perhaps didn't matter. I wound up leaving because did not want to wait another 1/2 hour to regroup . Art portion was excellent
A great experience with a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. He Explained the history of Belvedere.
Our guide Ana was marvellous. She was cheery and explained everything very well. Her personal interest and enthusiasm for her work was evident and it made the outing a pleasure. Ours was a small but curious group which had many questions, and we went well over the scheduled tour time, but never realised it as we were enjoying it. Upper Belvedere has a lot more to see besides what the guided tour covers, and Ana left us with helpful tips on other areas which helped when we explored the other galleries by ourselves after the guided tour was done.
I think the Belvedere is best done on your own. The Klimt paintings were great. I did not like spending so much time with the guide at the crucifixion room so I took off.
Our tour of the Upper Belvedere and Gardens were spectacular! Our tour guide Karen went above and behind with her knowledge and detail of each peace of artwork we saw and how see maneuvered us through the crowd!
Friendly, funny, knowledgeable guide helped us navigate the highlights of the museum and gardens. He offered background information on artists, history, and paintings.
This tour was really interesting. Learning more about the great people that make Vienna an amazing city with a lot of history. If I remember, the lady (Iris or Izzie), she told us a lot of interesting facts about it, she knew what she was talking about. I really recommend this tour. Amazing experience.
Well paced informative highlights of the museum. The guide was thorough and offered continual insights & background into the progression of styles through time, as well as historical background of the venue. Excellent overall!
Excellent guide who explained the art and building very well. The Klimts were certainly a highlight but the progression of art was a great experience. Only improvement would be ear piece & microphone as in the hall and entry it was very echoing. Loved the tour!
This tour offered a great combination of history, architecture, gardens, and art. Our guide was very personable and extremely knowledgeable. We have two suggestions. 1. She needed a microphone and 2. She needed to keep us moving more quickly. She was so passionate about the museum holdings that she spent too much time in each room, such that we barely got to see the Klimt paintings before we were saturated.
Very well organized tour , our tour guide was very informative. Had a wonderful day later at n exploring the lower Belvedere at our own pace
Our guide Alex provided great background for the palace and took us through a well-thought out journey through key areas of the Upper Belvedere. Was just enough time to get an overview as well as some level of detail in key artists, including Klimt.
Alexander was a very knowledgeable, friendly guide with a good sense of humour. We were treated to the very best of Austrian art in the form of Klimt, Schiele and Messerschmidt amongst others. I felt I got my money’s worth.
Our guide was very nice and had a ton of knowledge and background information on the Upper Belvedere and the artists and art held within and for that this experience was worth it. I particularly wanted to see the Klimt paintings, and was thrilled to get the opportunity to do that. My only criticism is that there was too much time spent lecturing at each painting, which made the tour hard to stay engaged with throughout the length of the tour and as it was a very hot and crowded day, that lost the crowd.
Our tour guide was fabulous! Would highly recommend him again! His enthusiastic delivery of art history was enthralling!
The guide to the Art Gallery was very good.Gave a lot of detail and background information to paintings
Olga our tour guide was awesome! She made the experience mind blowing! She knew facts about all the different artist from Klimt to Schiele and about Belvedere palace that one can’t find in books! Just an amazing experience!
This was a great museum with the best works of Gustav Klimt, and we had an outstanding tour guide too. Plus, after this great tour, we ate in the outdoor cafe there and strolled the magnificent gardens- truly a wonderful day there.
