We had an excellent day travelling to Hallstatt and Salzburg with Sam as our driver and points of interest guide. Sam was excellent and accommodated our every need (and didn’t waste time on the highways). The experience was a bit expensive for just two people and so I would recommend sharing it across a minimum of 4 if you can. It would be nice to have spent a bit more time in Salzburg, but the drive time from Vienna just doesn’t allow it. We spent the full twelve hours on the tour, more than half of which is driving. We recommend this experience.

Two bookings, two serious problems. I would not use this company again. This was my second time booking with this company, and both experiences ended in serious problems. After the first, I had to open a case with the Better Business Bureau. I booked a Vatican Museums ticket, but when I arrived, I was told the ticket had already been used. I had to buy another ticket on the spot just to see the museum. I showed the company evidence of what happened, but the problem was never properly resolved. I gave them another chance and booked a private day tour to Salzburg. The night before the tour, they sent me a voucher saying everything was ready and that I should be prepared for a 7:00 a.m. pickup. Then, only hours later, I discovered the tour had been canceled. When I contacted them, their representative blamed me, saying the tour was canceled because I had asked for a comfortable car. That explanation is contradicted by the written messages: I accepted the car they offered, and they confirmed that the arrangement was okay. Being blamed for a cancellation after receiving confirmation and a voucher is insulting. Based on my two experiences, I believe this company is unreliable and handled both situations dishonestly. I strongly recommend that travelers avoid booking with them. Keep every message and confirmation if you do decide to take the risk.

Amazing trip. Beautiful scenic and safe drive. In 11 hours we were able to come back to city. Sam ( Chauffeur) was very cooperative and shared information throughout the journey. 10 STAR FOR SAM.

We had a good trip it is 3 hours through the mountains so weary car sick people could have an issue. We stopped at Traunsee Lake and Hallstatt for pictures walking around and break. Driver was friendly and knowledgeable about sights and recommendations. Went to Mozarts birthplace in Salzburg enjoyed lunch at Bier a 400 year restaurant. Walked around shops. Overall would be a 5 star but we got stopped by police on way and apparently the vehicle should have been licensed as taxi or commercial and was not. Cost us about half hour of time and an uncomfortable situation but overall a good day

It was a beautiful drive from Vienna to Salzburg and Halatatt. Ahmed played all the songs from the Sound of Music. It was a very good and enjoyable experience.
I want to express my gratitude to Ahmed for making our trip truly unforgettable. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Knowing that we’re not used to the cold, he thoughtfully arranged for us to stop for hot beverages and find a cozy place to stay. We were also thrilled that he accommodated our wishes, like visiting the Mozart Museum. His attention to detail and flexibility made the experience exceptional.
What a beautiful day! Ahmed ,our guide ,was on time and was very friendly. He explained all the places on the itinerary in detail and was with us through out the trip. The Hallstatt Village is a must see. It was beautiful and as picturesque as I had imagined it to be.

We had a seamless experience on this journey. We were pick up promptly at our Hotel. Mohammed was our driver and we could not have been happier with anyone else! He was professional, fun, safe driver and knew all the hot spots for photos! Excellent photographer also. It was a long day, but he knew how to pace this trip for us! So glad we made this trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg. He also pointed out some of the Sound of music places (this was not a tour of the Sound of music). All the Mozart sights! We particularly booked private tour so that we will have more flexibility in exploring the places especially that there are seniors in our tour. The tour guide however was in so much rush that he did not even explain some of the spots we’ve seen. He was so concerned that his parking ticket is already about to expire. We gve him a feedback even before getting to Hallstatt and he responded that the overall tour is only up to 12 hours max hence he was rushing. He didn’t bother to share the wifi until I inquired midway of the tour and didn’t also mention of the free bottled water. I had seen good reviews here about tour guide Sam and wished we had him as our tour guide instead. This is too pricey for a private tour and ironically has less flexibility compared to other smaller group European tours I’ve joined.
Sam was amazing-on time, friendly and personally accommodated our needs and request. Excellent driver. Gave us very interesting information, but didn't talk more than we wanted. It was a long day trip-but very much worth it. Hallstatt-just wow! Out of a fairy tale-and Salzburg-charming and historical. We were able to even sleep a bit on trip back. Thank you Sam! You're very good at what you do-and we're grateful you were our guide for a once in a lifetime trip!

Hallstatt and Salzburg are just wonderful places and must do destinations. We loved our tour. Sam was our driver and arrived promptly and gave us enough time to explore both destinations. He was fluent in English and answered our questions. Our only criticism was that he drove between 130-160 kmph and we felt that was excessive and unsafe. There was no need, we were in no rush. Made it back safely but nerves were frayed!

We started our day in Hallstatt, where our guide knew all the best picture-perfect spots. From little hidden alleys to the famous postcard view, we got the most stunning photos. The Skywalk was incredible standing above the village with that sweeping lake and mountain panorama felt unreal. After exploring Hallstatt, we made our way to Salzburg. Along the way, our guide pointed out spots from The Sound of Music and even played a bit of the soundtrack, which made it extra fun. In Salzburg, we wandered the old town, visited some charming squares, and had lunch at a lovely local restaurant our guide recommended. They were flexible the entire day, making sure we saw everything we wanted

We could have rented a car, but I’m so glad we didn’t. This way, we could relax, enjoy the scenery, and actually learn about what we were seeing. Hidden gems as well was so nice
