It was an amazing experience in Vienna with a fabulous orchestra, singer and dancers. The orchestra was vibrant and passionnate about being here. The singer had a voice beyond what I thought was possible and the dancers were very elegant and skilled. It lasted 1h30, just perfect length. 10/10 Would recommend a lot. Thanks to that man who sold us the tickets in the street, we weren't expecting to do this in Wien and were really happy to do it...and thanks for the CD :)

During a weekend in Vienna, we accidentally encountered this band at the promoters in the city center. The program consisted of 14 songs from the world's most famous operas, even for the less discerning audience. At the end, they added three extras. In my opinion, it's a perfect show for tourists in Vienna who want to immerse themselves for two hours in the music of times gone by.
The Vienna Royal Orchestra gave a delightful performance of Mozart, Strauss, and other composers, with a few pieces enhanced by ballet dancers and an opera singer. The small orchestra was professional and engaging, making for a very enjoyable 90-minute concert. The interior was stunning – baroque, very imperial, held in the King’s Hall, a grand, spacious ballroom. Clean toilets, friendly staff, and efficient cloakroom. Programme was provided and we were shown to our seats (no assigned seats were originally provided, just a zone), though shorter guests may find the view a bit limited. A festive evening of excellent music in an impressive setting.
Complete waste of money as couldn’t get tickets with our voucher .. went to haus of industrie - they wouldn’t accept our “voucher” from Viator and told us we needed tickets - but couldn’t say where to go get them … so a waste of 200 euros as walked 1/2 hr , froze and couldn’t get in to see concert
We attended a concert here while we were on vacation. though the concert itself was superb, the venue had much to be desired for. First, we did not realize infants and children were allowed into the concert. So through the concert the performance was impacted by infants crying and screaming. A multitude of teens that were sitting in front of and beside us were constantly on their cel phones apparently shopping on-line and sharing other content with their friends all the while talking and giggling. The venue allows people to carry in water bottles so the performance was also interfered with by people scrunching their plastic water bottles for what ever reason. A very obnoxious sound. And of course you have people that have their phones on so you are constantly bombarded by the ringing of phones and people raising their phones to video the concert or take pictures (which technically is not allowed). What should have been a delightful night of wonderful music was actually an evening of unpleasant distractions. Very unfortunate. I would recommend this place for the music and the venue itself but to listen to the music,..., there is a lot to be desired as these distractions simply took away the joy of listening to the music. I do wonder why people pay good money to attend a concert and then don't pay attention to the music itself!
Great experience overall. 10 piece orchestra doing famous works along with classic Christmas favorite’s. We purchased tickets well in advance as this was sold out! Highly recommend this performance. Then also sprinkled in some powerful opera songs and a couple of ballet performances! We had to check our bags and coats at the door. Beer , wine and souvenirs for sale also.
The concert was good, but we got no refreshment and no CD despite the fact that these should be in the VIP ticket according to the description.
We meet Albert in front of Cathedral and Thanx to him We had the pleasure of attending a classical concert here, and it was absolutely fantastic! The performance was professional and captivating, and the atmosphere made the experience even more memorable. Whether you’re a classical music enthusiast or just looking for a cultural evening out, I highly recommend this concert.
We enjoyed a talented 10 piece ensemble performing music from a number of different composers including Vivaldi, Strauss, and Mozart. Two of the songs were accompanied by a soprano, and a couple of the pieces featured a pair of dancers. It was our first evening in Vienna and certainly helped to set the tone for our visit.
The terrible seat allocation system meant we were allocated seats to other people, even though we had paid for Gold seats. We ended up seated way back from the front, making the seat category a gimmick. Music performance and the singer made an outstanding performance. Overall a memorable experience.
In October of last year, one of the workers for the orchestra found me in the plaza in front of Stephansdom. There they invited me to come to the orchestra and gave me an insane deal on premium seats. It was so good I couldn't refuse, even though it seemed like a scam at the time. While I was walking through the streets of Vienna to the concert hall, I thought more and more that I had been scammed. It was too good to be true. I was so pleasantly surprised when, not only had I not been scammed, but I had an experience which exceeded all expectations. The venue was a gorgeous baroque concert hall, small, but beautifully decorated. The orchestra is the best I have ever heard in person. There was also a small ballet which was very impressive. Additionally, orchestra workers offered me champagne, and even gave me a CD of all their recordings. If I could give 10 stars I would. There is no better way to experience the city of music than to see a concert with this orchestra. This completed my experience and gave me an amazing story to tell. The orchestra is incredible! 10/10.
Booked this event as a birthday present to myself. It did not disappoint! Exceptional musicians in a beautiful setting! Fantastic evening all around!
On this occasion, my cousin, a friend, and I continued our journey, arriving at this beautiful, yet imposing, city. Vienna is one of the most historic European capitals I've seen, so passing it by without being able to enjoy one of the birthplaces of music was a big mistake. Therefore, the destination decided to introduce us to Adrian (the theater's ticket sales manager), who very kindly made us a fantastic offer to give us the opportunity to enjoy this marvelous experience we experienced yesterday afternoon (while still thinking we hadn't passed the tourist test, as the manners seemed a bit suspicious). Thank you again, Adrian, for insisting on giving us the chance to take this great experience with us. We would love to repeat it.
This show was very lovely. Extremely talented and really enjoyed the concert but as a venue not what was expected. We thought by the looks of the photos and the seating options we would be sitting in the big hall seeing a full orchestra. It is the Vienna Royal Orchestra. The seating options range from VIP, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Seeing the space we chose to upgrade to the Gold and paid $174 Euro so as to not be blocked by too many people in front of us. Nowhere that I could see on TripAdvisor or the actual site for the venue to purchase tickets did it give an exact description of what was being seen. It would be nice to have more details. Needless to say we showed up to a small room with 8 rows of chairs!!!!! There was no need to pay a dime extra then Bronze and no full orchestra but a 10 person concert. Again they were great. To say we were disappointed in an understatement. TripAdvisor do better please with specifics. Moral of the story is see if you can find out what and where before purchasing tickets. We wasted $50 Euros due to this. Below photos show what we thought we were getting and photos of what we got. I was sitting in second row for reference. Again this review is more for the lack of details and waste of money not the venue or the concert
A great beginners taste to classical music in a beautiful venue. If this isn’t your usual bag don’t be intimidated by it. It’s definitely worth doing when in Vienna 👍🏼
We were convinced to get tickets from a guy outside of the Opera House. Glad we listened to him. Without knowing the program but expecting a competent, classical variety 'hits' show, we were treated instead to what I can only describe as an extended channelling of pure joy. The playful spirit of music simply flows through Concertmaster/Conductor/First Violinist Michal Hudak. It seems he has been able to find and surround himself with musicians, singers and dancers who vibrate on the same frequency. The result is talented artists creating beauty, delighting the audience and having fun doing it. I've added the program in a photo, but don't get fixated on the specific selections. I didn't. The program as a whole allowed the maestro and performers to create a sacred moment with the audience and elevate everyone's spirit and consciousness. What concerts should do.
Had the pleasure of watching their New Years Eve chamber concert. Wonderful performance, one of the most memorable I’ve had - they played a few well known works, a few niche works and some contemporary ones too. The musicians were skilled and lively, and many of their performances involved audience participation. At one point everyone in the hall sang Last Christmas by Wham together. Venue is lovely too. Incredibly fun! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Highly recommended.
While the music and performances from the dancers and singers was truly amazing and the conductor did a great job of engaging the crowd, the venue doesn't seem to suit this type of show. We read through some reviews indicating that seating didn't really make a difference but it truly does. We switched to this concert last min due to a late arriving flight the previous morning so there were only a few seats left available in the last few row. The stage cannot be more than 2 feet off the ground and the performers are nearly impossible to view from the rear of the room. I can't imagine anyone past rows 5/6 could clearly see all of the performers at all times. Those sitting up top not too close to the first rows also had prime viewing opportunities but the rest of us spent the concert with our heads peaking between the heads in front of us. A simple raised stage or a few risers for the singer would go a long way. The venue itself is stunning and you are able to capture photos before and after the concert but even then you have to stand or hover your camera high above the crowd for an unobstructed view.
The concert hall was perfect. Even with a small orchestra, the musicians filled the hall with sound. It was an excellent concert.
This is totally fake. So technically the concert is there, but it is low quality. It has nothing to do with real classic music concerts, and is just an imitation for tourists with no music knowledge
Great experience! We paid for the Gold service and sat in thr 2nd row which was perfect to see the opera singer and dancers. Not sure I would be able to see it if I was further back as the seats in bronze seating as the seats all at the same height. Pick up of tickets was easy and at the same venue. Don't need to go that much earlier seats were a tad uncomfortable but was easily forgotten when the performance is that good! They even had a lot of funny moments and audience participation too.
Great concert … worrh the money. Come early, takes time to look at the theatre coz theyre too many plus viator dont have clear address on my phone. You have to deposit jacket n pay 1 euro. From metro station its about 10 mins walk
We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The enthusiasm and brilliance of the orchestra made it a joy to watch.
We had an unforgettable evening at the opera! The performance was breathtaking, with stunning vocals and a mesmerizing orchestra. The ambiance was magical, and it was the perfect experience to share among four close friends. Highly recommended!
The concert was excellent. Just a note on improvement about the ticket pick-up: The ticket pick-up point indicated in Viator (House of Industry) was different from the place of the actual ticket pick-up and the concert (a church across the street). We spent quite some time in the windy, near-zero weather walking around the House of Industry, trying to find an entrance to the building. We met another family during our search, who was also finding the place to pick up the tickets. The experience would have been much better if VIator indicated the exact ticket pick-up location (the church) when we ordered the event, saving us and the other family walking on the street in the cold weather for almost 20 minutes, rushing to find the ticket pick-up when the concert was about to start.
We were given the wrong address and no actual name for the Venue so we ended up missing the concert. We’re waiting to hear back on a refund.
Had a lovely time, amazing orchestra and great performance, was and amazing atmosphere.Great experience to have in Vienna
It was really nice show the orchestra was good. I went there with my friends and the orchestra knew how to cheer the crowd.
Wonderful experience. It was our first time listening to and watching an orchestra performance live. The music choices played were great..we enjoyed each of them. Even my 6-year-old had a great time...
It has been a wonderful experience. The orchestra and the acoustic were perfect! This is a complete show with excellent music, ballet dancers and the first violin is a great performer. I recommend 100% the best concert we saw in Europe!
The Wiener Royal Orchester concert was a stunning display of musical excellence and Viennese tradition. Held in the elegant Imperial Hall, the performance featured masterworks from classical composers, enhanced by the talents of renowned singers and dancers in authentic costumes. The combination of impeccable acoustics, historic ambiance, and world-class artistry created an unforgettable evening that captured the true spirit of Vienna.
We purchased VIP tickets and were front row seating. With our seats it was a more personal experience with the orchestra. The addition of vocal and ballet performances enhanced the evening. Very impressed with the concertmaster’s performance. A fun evening.
Bought the tickets from the guys dressed in the Mozart jackets outside St Stefansdom. We got half price tickets (Gold). As it was my hubby’s birthday we also got a free glass of champagne. The music was devine, seats in row 5 in the Kaisersaal. What an unplanned and wonderful experience . Highly recommended
Spontaneous evening, but a great one. Had my tickets from street sellers and it turned out to be wonderful. I do recommend it 100%!!!
They played several pieces that I recognized from other venues (not live). Wonderful performance. My favorite was the Blue Danube Waltz. The dancers and the soloist only added to the evening. I had been to another venue 10 years ago. This performance far surpassed that one. Highly recommended.
Nice performance but lacked the Wow factor! The singer (Anna Ryan) was fabulous, but I felt the music drowned her voice. The musicans and dancers were great - created a nice atmosphre. Note: the seats are not elevated so if someone large is sat in front of you, you'll be watching them from behind for the duration of the performance. There's a compulsory jacket policy for additional €1 charge, just add or include it in the price - more annoying than anything.
What a delight to attend the Vienna Royal Orchestra performance at Haus der Industrie. What fun! Music Director, Michal Hudak is brilliant- uplifting music, beautifully and inspiringly played. Loved the program especially Wladteufel’s Ice Skaters which opened the evening. Also loved the touches of humor throughout the program. Soprano Anna Ryan’s voice is incredible. Venue is super nice too with comfortable seats. Would go again! Warmly recommend.
Best experience in Vienna! Highly recommend. Dynamic and engaging all the time. Plenty of surprises by wonderful artists and organisers
Fitim is very knowledgeable and proposed us a great concert. Also gave us very good tips. I really recommend him. Obrigado Fitim. Abraço, António de Lisboa
We went to the concert in Haus Der Industrie and it was the highlight of our short visit to Vienna. It was an unforgettable evening and highly recommend to anyone visiting. Glad also to have met Mr Adrian Fejzullahi, its managing director. Well done and thank you.
The only theatre and the show surpassed expectations. The music was flawless. The conductor and all the members of the orchestra were brilliantly and interacted with the audience. Great choice of pieces and even a bit of contemporary at the end to jazz it up.
A family of four, our kids are 12 & 15 yo, booked this concert during our visit to Vienna for Christmas. The venue is smallish, but cozy. The view is very good from all seats, so I see no reason to pay for front seats. The program was a light program for tourists, focused on the Christmas season. Classic Waltzes, Polkas and the odd pop song played joyfully by the orchestra. The orchestra was very good for my ears. I was aware that I was not attending a virtuoso concert, however the musicians were very professional. The percussionist was not precisely on time during the first few minutes but caught up just fine after he warmed up. A couple of ballet dancers performed during the Hungarian Dance and Blue Danube. Not something extraordinary, but pleasant for someone who doesn’t understand much about ballet. The soprano was very good on the two tracks she performed in. The maestro got the audience involved in a few tracks, there was interactivity up to the encore , the Radetzky March with the obvious rhythmic clap. In all , a fun experience which we thoroughly enjoyed.
I had lots of fun it was one of the best experience of my life the music was fantastic staff where very nice and the place was very clean and beautiful 😍 the dancer's were amazing!and very talented I love it and I would definitely go again ♥️
EXCEPTIONAL!!! The highlight of our trip! We attended their Christmas Concert and were memorized by this endlessly talented orchestra! Our experience was breathtaking from the exquisite concert hall, to the orchestra themselves, to the elegant ballet dancers & the most beautiful and entrancing Opera Singer who made a special appearance. The absolute perfect evening thoroughly enjoyed by all!
Really a must-do in Vienna. A classical concert in such a beautiful location. The music was really nice and fit the vibe of the location. The owner was really nice, when we asked to take a picture of us, he took several. There was a little bit of opera singing as well but not too much.
Excellent location. Great size room. Very ornate. Solo violinist very good. Opera singer and dancers had a nice change to just music. Performance time was perfect.
Don't miss the Vienna Royal Orchestra! They are truly professional musicians and extremely talented. The programme included Schubert, Brahms & Vivaldi as well as wonderful Mozart & Strauss. Anna Ryan the soprano was superb & the dancers were awesome - all in the beautiful setting of the Baroque Festive Hall at the Haus der Industrie. Don't miss the Royal Orchestra, they are not a large orchestra, but absolutely wonderful - the best thing we did in Vienna.
The whole concert was amazing and memorable. The atmosphere and sound were great! We were with family - parents and teenager. Everyone was happy ❤️
Great way to experience the sounds of classical music. Musicians were outstanding and added soprano and dancers made for quality entertainment. Michal Hudak was engaging and personable as the concert master. Highly recommend!
A great and unforgetable experience.Beyond our expectations.Highly recommended.A lively orchestra and the venue House of Industrie very easy to find.
